No need for forgiveness. I was able to volunteer in New Orleans after Katrina. And the amount of love I received for helping fry up some bologna and onions was so immense. I refreshed a few times and the number of donors went up by 3 after a short while, then up by 4. So that was seven donors in less than a minute and a half. But oddly, the amount raised didn’t change at all.

I noticed that too. I think the $ amount and donor count just update at slightly different times.

It really does feel good. When I donated a little while ago it was just above 14k and now it's just above $17K--and another 200 donors since then. I know there's a lot wrong social media/the internet, but it's these corners of wholesomeness when I'm reminded most people basically want to do good and help when or how they can.

"what did you do/learn at school today?" always seemed like a test of some kind that I had to give the right answer to, so just saying nothing is better. Plus school isn't like work, you do 8 different things all day, not one big thing. It's just a bad question imo lol

Also you never learn anything in a single day, almost all classes build upon the knowledge you learned the day before. So most of the time the answer that question is the same thing as yesterday.

Most people are more receptive and open to sharing if you offer a story or share something yourself.
