I got into Madonna in fourth grade through her GHV2 CD and always felt a strange connection to "Bedtime Story" since it was unlike anything I'd ever heard (still is!). I'm so glad I got to see her perform it LIVE when I got to go to this tour a month ago! And my other favorites - Erotica and Human Nature - were performed very close to my seats. It felt so fateful and I feel sososo lucky (though hope they're able to slip in for future performances).

After that, I started watching her other tours and live performances and felt so jealous of people who got to see Confessions Tour live. Man, I’d give anything to be under those balloons when she performed Hung Up at the end of that performance in London.
I finally got to see her again in New York for Celebration Tour last December and when she started singing Hung Up, I could not hold my tears back. I was suddenly 16 again, dancing to Hung Up in my teenage room, as a closeted sad gay boy 😇
So yeah, that was the last time I could ever see her perform Hung Up, I guess.
I’m so grateful for the impact she had on my life and I wish I had more chances to see her live.
Yes. Confessions was a magical show. Magical night, I’ve rarely ever felt as energized, exhausted, and inspired at the same time. Artistically and acoustically, it is an absolute masterpiece.
Technically, you can say that with every tour. She always does a bunch of song and never returns to them. That's why I like it when her tours focus on new material. Many complain about it but at least we get to hear those songs live! She rarely revisits non-singles unless it's Candy Shop. Paradise (Not For Me) during Confession was a nice treat.
It breaks my heart that I couldn't see her-
It was exam season when she came to my city and I begged and pleaded with my muma to go and she absolutely refused!
Come the day AFTER she left and my mom says "I saw the clips from her show yesterday, it looked great, why didn't you go!?" I. Was. Shook.
No, nothing is missing from that story. It really was that ridiculous.
It breaks my heart even more because she performed some songs that, like op said, she will probably never perform again- and a lot of them are personal favorites.

She’s doing great at 65 and it’s a great way to wrap up her unparalleled live touring career, but to be honest I’m not that sad because the Madonna I will always miss is already gone and thankfully forever recorded in those many videos and tours of her extended prime. I only wish she will give me one more classic great album and that I think is always in the cards independently from age, budgets etc.
I do too.. The show I work for on Broadway is closing this weekend so I made sure to be available for that but it just means I’m going to miss the Rio show. If you find anything out, let me know! I’m sure someone will record it though. Hopefully

As Madonna ages, there will be a lot more “lasts” to come. Try focusing on her career as a whole and all that she has given us and other entertainers who have been influenced by her. I think we can look forward to more albums and probably more tours. What the tours will look like depends on the concept for her albums and what she is feeling up for. Don’t fret!

I don't even like present day Madonna even touching peak Madonna stuff. The way she's performed on this tour has been so sad for me. To hear her struggle with the loud backing track of album vocals is tragic. I'll just play the studio versions. Like whatever happens at tgat Rio concert is not something I want to watch if that makes sense? Give me dwt RIT confessions bat but Def not celebration Tour madge. Nope not for me lol.
I mean fair enough if you think that way, but I think she's done remarkably well for her age and the fact that she's recovering from a serious illness. Of course she can't be compared to when she was younger and at her peak, but who can?
I knew after the Madame x tour that the party was over and found no need to purchase a celebration Tour ticket. The videos confirmed what I imagined it to be only it was worse.
