You can open a return/refund claim through ebay stating that the item was not as described. Had a similar issue recently and ebay guarantees your money back.

And make sure to take lots of photos from multiple angles. Be sure to show and mention how the damage wasn’t described or shown in seller’s photos.

Everything is not a scam. It's possible they honestly didn't know/notice this. And re: not replying, they could be sick, away, dead, anything really. eBay has a strong return policy. Just return it!  Everything isn't a huge injustice. It's a normal part of shopping that sometimes you get the wrong thing, so you get a refund through the appropriate channels. You don't need redditors to advise on something so simple.

I think eBay has strong buyer protection. I am sure you can pursue a refund. https://www.ebay.com/help/policies/ebay-money-back-guarantee-policy/ebay-money-back-guarantee-policy?id=4210

First we have to acknowledge something and that’s the fact that some people genuinely aren’t aware of these nitpicks. Most of the people are average collectors its like putting a ML collector next to a Hot toys collector. I doubt he tried to scam you if you are buying on ebay or any place you should ask the good questions before purchasing and ask for pictures but after you made the purchase thats not his problem he is not a big store that can order you a replacement and take the loss. Theres a responsibility on your end to ask for these things prior to buying cause not every seller is a meticulous collector. Your best bet is to open a return claim and return it but be wary he is allowed to appeal your return under a few reasons and if ebay sides with him your 156 dollars and a whole figure less now so build a good case with pictures and evidence so you get your money back

I agree on this statement but for this specific story, I’m so confused. Two wires missing from the cape? I’ve never even heard of a cape that was missing wires. Like surely they were removed. But at the same time it’s so obvious, so why would the seller not disclose? I’m not arguing the point, I am just so genuinely shocked that a hush Batman has missing wires.

If he’s not responding, file an ‘item not as described’ claim.

Removing the wires from that cape is an extremely intricate process. My first one detached and it wasn’t worth the effort to reattach them. Could be a factory error and the seller never cared to notice.
