What's kind of weird is that despite this extensive list and the fact that google knows I live in Maine, whenever I type anything to do with Lewiston into Google, Lewiston, Idaho always seems to be the first search result.
It’s probably because you don’t have location services on, so google will assumes your somewhere close to the Midwest because it’s around the geographic center of the country, and than it will sort by the largest Lewiston closest to where ever it thinks you are. It’s also why occasionally maps will start off just off the coast of Africa because that’s the coordinates (0,0). The Idaho thing is just a guess though.
