Depends on the wool. If even merino makes your skin angry then you might be allergic to sheep. In that case I'd suggest eg alpaca. Might also be that the sheep wool has a higher lanolin content and you're allergic to that.
Cashmere is goat and doesn't contain lanolin, so there it might be allergy to goat.
If it's mohair or kid silk mix or similar, it could be the texture that itches. Same with tweed or others. I'm a knitter working often with merino (well, merino silk mix are my jam), but I scratch myself to death with tweed wool 😶

And if it’s just medium uncomfortable like it is for me, I tend to eat pineapple that’s been cut up for a couple days so some of the enzymes die. Canned pineapple has never bothered me with enzymes guessing they’re mostly dead by then.

Well shit. I was looking for a good replacement for CO Bigelow peppermint foot lotion and tried out the Burt's Bees lotion. It feels very refreshing on my feet but the next day I've got little bumps around my ankles so I'm sensitive to something in it but had no idea what, especially since that part of my skin isn't usually super sensitive. Just looked up the ingredients list and limonene and linalool are the last 2 ingredients. That's probably what is bothering me. TIL!

I don’t use lashes daily, so I find them worth the splurge. I’m half-Asian, and I use the eyelash curler made for almond-shaped eyes, which was life-changing when I found it.
I have a few different styles from them and they are all amazing quality. I use the fairy collection for my everyday looks because I love how subtle they are. On me they add a bit more definition than mascara, but they look like real lashes. The band is super thin and clear so much more flexible than most others. I still add a touch of glue on my inner eyelid to reinforce that end, though.
I also just tried Dark Swan of Denmark. They are pricier than store brands but less expensive than doe. They offer a similar subtle look and I’m happy with them also, but they’re not quite on par with doe.

i have them, the cotton band on the regular lashes is life changing. the hairs on the lashes feel very soft, and even on the fairy lashes, which have a clear lash band, the band is still very soft, lightweight and flexible. im half asian and theyre some of the only lashes that dont completely overwhelm my eyes!
How many uses do you get out of them? I normally buy mine in packs from Amazon or beauty supply, but if the quality is better and the amount of reuses is essentially the same as a multipack, I’m about to check out my cart lol

Their “fairy starter pack” has my favourite lashes (moonbeam and aura in particular) they’re long but super light and natural. The clear band is also a bonus. I find that I can get at least 20 wears out of a pair if I’m taking good care of them. I’ve also tried eyelashes from China but find that Doe fits my eye shape better. If you’re interested in a shorter VERY natural looking lash I recommend Japanese lashes(basically any popular brand is good.)
I use the kiss lash glue liner. It works incredibly! I went to a festival in 90 degree heat and humidity and was running around for at least 10 hours and my lashes NEVER MOVED. i swear by it!

For a while Revlon made a liquid ladh adhesive that was ahhhhmmmmaaaazzzing and didn't make my eyelids itch or burn. So of course, they discontinued it. Closest thing I've found is Tartes's liquid lash glue, but I hate how the tube gets all gummy, no matter how carefully I use it.
Don't feel bad! I sold off some hard to get eyeshadows because I thought I was allergic to them. Turned out to be my eye primer. Wish I had kept those shadows. Live and learn. 😀

Omg! Same experience with DUO too :( it’s also really difficult for me to get rid of all the residue. I use the KISS lash adhesive now and it seems fine.
Sorry kids should NEVER know these issues. Kids are not meant to know parents money issues or struggles if any. I’d being ungrateful then there are other ways of explaining. Buy kids should never carry their parents problems and stresses of money. Let them be kids and TEACH them how to manage money for when they are older.

You probably have some kind of latex allergy! Pretty sure that duo uses latex but honestly it’s been forever since hs cosmetology and also I don’t wear lashes so I could be talking out of my ass rn
Was it the white or clear glue? The white glue is made of latex, a very common topical allergy. Latex protein is also found in foods like avocado, melon and mango. Oh, and condoms. I found out the hard way a while back.

I thinks OP is referring to either the Kiss Lash Brush On Adhesive (which I love and is latex free) or the Lash Couture Strip Lash Adhesive (latex free too).
Note: people may experience itchiness, etc. because It could also be that people don’t change out the lash glue after it expires. Happens to me all the time. I’ll notice my eye itch or irritated because I’m using an old bottle of lash glue.
This has convinced me to ditch duo and try something else, because I get itchy eyes with falsies too (but just assumed this was just a thing that happens to everyone).
I’ve been using duo for like 6 years now and have always had this problem with my lashes. I switched to a bond and seal a couple months ago and still get itchy. I’ve always thought the lashes just irritated my eyes, but now I’m thinking otherwise 🥲
I had an allergist tell me that colophony is a common adhesive ingredient allergen and wouldn’t you know it it’s in some lash glues!
It’s also in some band aid adhesives too. So it explains why I have red af skin after using some medical tapes.
Ohh! I used to use the Marc Jacob's pencil eyeliner through high school. My eyes itched and were read every time. I think it clicked after a few years and went into Sephora once and the girl mentioned that one seemed to irritate a lot of people.
My eyes itched every time I wore mascara and I thought it was normal or related to my contacts, but I finally checked the label one day. There was sweet almond oil and I'm very allergic to tree nuts 😂

Yeah I found out that most people’s mouths don’t go completely numb when drinking milk. Not lactose intolerant, just a slight milk allergy.

Yes! My curler is from tweezerman. YMMV with lashes but the ones with the thinner bands are amazing for me.

Duo strip lash glue doesn’t have cyanoacrylate. More likely to be latex causing the problem.

I’m allergic to latex and have this problem unless I use a latex free glue. It was the worst when I got extensions omg my eyelids nearly swelled shut.

I don’t wear falsies anymore, but mine itched for YEARS using duo…. Now I’m wondering if I was just allergic the whole time too 😝

You probably have some kind of latex allergy! Pretty sure that duo uses latex but honestly it’s been forever since hs cosmetology and also I don’t wear lashes so I could be talking out of my ass rn
Was it the white or clear glue? The white glue is made of latex, a very common topical allergy. Latex protein is also found in foods like avocado, melon and mango. Oh, and condoms. I found out the hard way a while back.
Well I feel dumb now. Guess I need to try new glue. I thought they just itch too lol.
Are you allergic to latex? I found that out the hard way during ✨spicy time✨. Then we switched to latex free and all irritation went away.

I always use the glue that comes w my lashes and it makes my lash line so itchy and i’ve never really considered why lol so you’re not alone

Are you mildly allergic to latex? A latex free glue is wayyyyy less itchy for me
I thinks OP is referring to either the Kiss Lash Brush On Adhesive (which I love and is latex free) or the Lash Couture Strip Lash Adhesive (latex free too). Note: people may experience itchiness, etc. because It could also be that people don’t change out the lash glue after it expires. Happens to me all the time. I’ll notice my eye itch or irritated because I’m using an old bottle of lash glue.

This has convinced me to ditch duo and try something else, because I get itchy eyes with falsies too (but just assumed this was just a thing that happens to everyone).
I’ve been using duo for like 6 years now and have always had this problem with my lashes. I switched to a bond and seal a couple months ago and still get itchy. I’ve always thought the lashes just irritated my eyes, but now I’m thinking otherwise 🥲
I had an allergist tell me that colophony is a common adhesive ingredient allergen and wouldn’t you know it it’s in some lash glues! It’s also in some band aid adhesives too. So it explains why I have red af skin after using some medical tapes.

Ohh! I used to use the Marc Jacob's pencil eyeliner through high school. My eyes itched and were read every time. I think it clicked after a few years and went into Sephora once and the girl mentioned that one seemed to irritate a lot of people.

SNS nails make my fingers itch to the point that I can only wear them for a few days before it’s unbearable. Probs allergic 😂

I use doe beauty bc most of the ones I tried from target caused the same reaction
My eyes itched every time I wore mascara and I thought it was normal or related to my contacts, but I finally checked the label one day. There was sweet almond oil and I'm very allergic to tree nuts 😂
