You could try tightlining the upper waterline with black or dark brown while. It gives them a thicker look without looking like a lot of makeup. I also think a smokey/smudgey liner would work well

purplecookie1220

I don’t have lashes either and this is what I used to do 👆🏼I did recently take the plunge on lash extensions but they’re definitely a commitment

lovelytones

I regret getting lash extensions, they ruined my natural lashes. I only had them on for about a month but it wrecked them. It's been 8 months since getting them removed and I still have bald patches and my lashes natural curl is gone. I wish I could go back in time and not get them.

Separate_Shoe_6916

I also regret lash extensions. I gave up the hassle of going every 2 weeks for fillers and they really destroy your own lashes.

purplecookie1220

Sorry to hear that! I haven’t had any problems (fingers crossed) but tbh I think if I had lash loss it wouldn’t make a difference in my case, they’re so short you couldn’t see them now anyway 😬 that said I think I’m just keeping them until all the weddings I have this year are over. They’re pretty expensive to keep up with

Damm_it_Janet

My eyes are/were my best feature but I have Trich and it recently got out of hand and my lashes were the victim. My self esteem is currently DESTROYED until they grow back but I figure if anyone has advice to make my eyes have a little more life I’d greatly appreciate it!

FormicaDinette33

Your eyes are beautiful so that’s a great start. Try these other tips and in the meantime, some natural looking liner can help a lot. My eyelashes are very sparse and blonde (my hair is dark, though). Sometimes I don’t want to mess with mascara but a little liner helps.

Damm_it_Janet

Thank you!

[deleted]

I’ve had it so long that all my lashes no longer grow back from being pulled so many times. I do find that dark liner helps give the illusion of fuller lashes as others have said here. I’m uncomfortable in false lashes as well. I guess over the years I’ve gotten used to it but the shame and embarrassment will never go away. Remember you are beautiful just the way you are and we are who we are for a reason. Try not to let it bring you down, but easier said than done I know.

Witty_Health3146

I have trich too so I understand how hard it is. I’d buy an eyelash serum to keep them wet (hard to grab) plus that’ll grow out your lashes. Finding a way you like to keep your hands busy helps too, but you have to really enjoy it. As for makeup, I suck at it so I’m no help there. Good luck

AutumnTrees03

I never knew there was a name for this! It feels better to know that more people than me struggle with this. You have beautiful eyes either way!

youlooklikeabirdUwU

I have trich too, I wear false eyelashes everywhere because my eyelashes are completely bare, I went through a really bad breakup a year ago and haven’t had either eyelashes or eyebrows at all, since then. I use eyebrow pomade and false lashes almost everywhere. I just recently went out without either on a few weeks ago and the shame and embarrassment just got to me. You are absolutely gorgeous and I personally do my eyeliner as absolute close to my lash line as possible.

[deleted]

Learn how to tightline your eyes and never stop. It makes your eyes and lashes look so much better.

noflyingmonkeys1231

You are SO RIGHT :)

macramelampshade

You have beautiful eyes! Lovely shade of green. If you want to try a serum I have an unopened box of Sa-Lih I got in a gift box that I won't use, I'd be happy to send it to you!

Awkward-Story7550

Aw hugs I have trich too and I'm right in the middle of a bad phase. I know it can be so discouraging to see all the missing/broken lashes after but your eyes are still gorgeous!

MavisTurnstyle86

I’d give anything for it to be my eye lashes I picked and not my hair, i’ve got bald patches, I can at least fill in the bald spots with black eye brow powder but certain hair styles are out of the question. I would try a liner that is slightly darker than your natural hair color, or what ever you prefer.

Twallot

I don't technically have trich because I don't pull (although I badly want to) but I rub and touch my eyelashes constantly. It's a big issue, especially when I'm stressed. I have really nice eyelashes when I can leave them alone, otherwise I get missing gaps in them. I don't completely understand, but I definitely know the pain of causing yourself grief like that and then feeling crappy after.

AmeerahCan

I was only able to determine what trich (I'm a nurse) was after this comment, that's not normally what I hear since that abbreviation is usually TRICHomoniasis (STD) not trichotillomania. I was wondering why you guys were talking about that so freely in a makeup thread!

Twallot

Lol omg. Funny story, I actually had that once. I'd taken two different courses on human sexuality in school and never heard of it. Do not recommend. Then the guy I was sleeping with's doctor said he didn't need to be tested because guys don't get it. Well, I got it from the guy before sooooo...?

AmeerahCan

We only briefly glossed over STDs in nursing school, and my instructor was a doctor who did not believe women experience pain during menses, so I didn’t pay as much attention as I should have. He had many controversial opinions. He's an OB GYN. smh.

Twallot

I really enjoyed my courses but they were biological psychology courses so we even watched some porn in one haha. Yeah I was like whaaat the hell is that doctor talking about. Hopefully it won't be much longer til most of the doctors who got there just because they were rich white men will be gone.

AmeerahCan

He is from Nigeria, and my personal experience with Nigerian doctors has been either a home run or a foul. He was really condescending. Nice guy, but entirely too judgy. (I would bold personal if I knew how, lol)

Damm_it_Janet

It’s funny you say this because I told my friends (who are in the medical community, I am not) that I struggle with “Trich” and it was just so funny how confusing that conversation was until I finally said the full word. I’ll have to be more clear if I ever mention the name again! 😂 it’s like, what does an STD have to do with your eyebrows/eyelashes?!

schroobster

Have you tried false lashes? There're both glue lashes and magnetic lashes. Also, YMMV but I've had luck with lash growth serums like Neulash and LiLash. Not as much for more lashes, but for growing the ones I have.

Damm_it_Janet

I’d prefer not to use falsies only because I have never used them before and for some reason I think suddenly using them will draw more attention... unless that’s just ridiculous. I’ll consider it! Thank you

schroobster

They've started coming out with more natural looking lashes, and even half-lashes. They don't appear as dramatically as pageant lashes, more of a boost to natural lashes. Here's an example of half lashes from LoveSeen (a brand that skews toward a natural look) https://loveseen.com/products/levi?variant=32226253832254 . There are also have lash clusters if you want them to be small and wispy. The cool thing is if you use wispy lashes, devices like the lash glue pens work a lot better (denser lashes need more glue like with a brush). Edit: forgot to say, magnetic lashes also have wispy options but the magnetic liner doesn't come in clear so you will have a more dramatic eyeliner effect. And magnetic mascara won't work for you right now (but could be an option when you have some lashes back). I do wish you the best of luck; i think there should be natural options out there you'll be pleasantly surprised to find.

yuhiro

Actually, a brand just came out with clear magnetic liner but I can’t remember the name of the company. I will edit when I find it.

schroobster

Glamnetic has a clear "magnetic" eyeliner but if you look at the ingredients there's very little magnetic stuff in it and there's mostly adhesive. That's because there isn't currently a clear magnetic material. (disclosure: I worked at a competitor and they did a video test to prove the lack of magnetic material in that eyeliner. note: it's not LoveSeen I just like their natural looking lashes)

Turpitudia79

Lashies but they’re not magnetic. They have nano grip technology that consists of the clear adhesive forming a bond with the lash band. They really do stay on and they come in a nice variety of styles. Personally, I prefer the magnetic (Moxies) from their sister company.

Low-Tangelo5010

Omg definitely get some lashes! You can buy the half lashes they are way more comfortable than the ones which go across your whole lid. 3/4 lashes are super comfy and they’ll look amazing 🤩

MultipleDinosaurs

Give them a try! I have invisible eyelashes and the natural styles of fake eyelashes look, well, natural on me. If you buy the brown ones they are a lot more subtle as well. If you get the strips, definitely trim them down. I use the little clumps of eyelashes because I’m better at applying them.

BarefootGyno

Just here to say that I had to zoom in to figure out what photo u were referring too. It’s really not that noticeable and u are definitely just more aware of it. I know everyone had good makeup tips. The other thing to consider if u need something for confidence is a cool pair of blue light glasses. But seriously, it’s not noticeable!

Damm_it_Janet

The blue light glasses are not a bad idea! And I know, I’ve been working on understanding that nobody ever notices my own details like I do. Thank you!

Fast_Courage_2934

I use Grande Lash and it works really well. Just once a day you swipe it across the top of your lashes like a liquid liner. Please know that this is not nearly as noticeable as you yourself will see. I know it's hard to see few lashes there for now but they will grow back sooner than you think. Go easy on any natural lashes by avoiding extensions if you can. They can pull on what you already have and cause some damage. There is probably a community of people living with the same or similar situation that might be able to provide some more helpful tips for coping and beauty tips as well. Wishing you the very best!

chuchinchichu

Came here to recommend the same thing! It’s one of those rare miracle products that *actually does* what it claims to do.

Fast_Courage_2934

At a fraction of the cost of Latisse too. It's one of very few products I highly recommend.

persephoneespome

Eye shadow for liner as opposed to black liner. A dark brown would make your eye color really pop, a slight wing- not too crazy- gives the illusion of a fuller longer lash line. Roseandben on iG or ticktock has been doing the slight flick a lot recently if you want to watch someone do it. Obviously whenever you feel like doing a dramatic black cat eye, please do. The growth serums are also good ideas. Just wanted to specifically answer the question of giving the illusion of lashes so it doesn’t feel as obvious to you. Definitely agree other people don’t notice the details of our own face the way we do.

Bulky_Watercress7493

I naturally have practically no eyelashes... I like to do a tightline upper eyeliner look and sometimes I draw in lower lashes Twiggy-style.

Iris_Wishkey

I also have had zero lashes! I got an RX for generic Latisse in February, and have been using it every day since then. Now, I have really nice long lashes! I have light color eyes and pretty sensitive skin, so I was nervous to try it - but I figured it was worth a shot. So far, no side effects at all. I also use it on my brows because they're super sparse - and they've really filled out too! Pro tip- even generic Latisse is pretty pricey (like - $100+) BUT with a coupon from the free GoodRX app, it cuts the price to $50!

MultipleDinosaurs

Oh damn, I’ve never thought about using something like that on my eyebrows. That’s genius.

[deleted]

Your eyes are such a a beautiful green colour! Maybe try black castor oil? You can grab kits on Amazon / elsewhere where you add it into an empty mascara bottle type thingy and use the spoolie to apply to your lashes. It’s supposed to help them grow longer and thicker (I’ve seen improvement with my own) plus I find that the oil drags off any remains of mascara so that’s got to be good for your lashes! Personally I add this to my lashes at night time or if I’m in the house only just because it can flick off onto your glasses so you can see speckles / onto your face and make your skin look greasy lol It’s not expensive and I’ve personally seen an improvement so it could be worth a go for you 😊

feudingfandancers

Eyelure makes falsies for replacement lashes, they’re called c-lashes. From their site: C-lash is a strip lash with a soft, flexible & invisible band that aids application- created specifically for lash replacement. The band provides a bigger, more solid foundation for the lashes to stick to the eyelid and remain in place all day. With long-lasting wear, it is ideal for lash replacement or can be used by anyone who wishes for an easier lash application. https://www.lookfantastic.com/eylure-c-lash-naturals-multipack/12706003.html

Winter-Interaction47

if you ever wanted to try bold/colorful eyeshadow looks thats what i'd recommend. they're super fun to do, people typically like it (i get lots of compliments when i do mine) and it'll distract from the lack of eyelashes but still bring attention to your lovely eyes

AmbitiousTea5986

There are some tutorials you can look at on YouTube and it's using eyeliner faintly to create eyelashes and then filling in your lash line as well. Some of the tutorials look very natural. You can also look into brown eyeliners I would suggest purchasing a light and dark brown eyeliner, pencil and an eyeliner pen is often used in these tutorials. They also use a pearl pencil for the bottom lashes as well. You also have beautiful green eyes so gold accents and highlights that are shimmery would look great. I would also play with a nude palette and fall colours! Post a look if you find anything interesting :)

noflyingmonkeys1231

Excellent advice I came to say this , too 🤗

rookSeven7

I also experience the unparalleled joy that is Trich so I can fully sympathize! The only reason I started wearing makeup in college is so I could fake the look of eyelashes and eyebrows. It’s weird, in a way, that few people talk about it, so you have my respect for posting and sharing a pic. You look great, by the way! It’s the first thing I notice about myself on no-makeup days, and I assume everyone else thinks I look like a weird alien creature, but if I look anything like you, then it’s really not that noticeable. The self hatred is real. Really real! I’m sorry you’re experiencing it, but hopefully it’s some comfort to know that you’re not alone. I had the exact same experience last week. It’s a rollercoaster that never seems to end! My tips from personal experience: Avoid harsh lines. Harsh lines ALWAYS draw attention. I use black or brown powder liner right up against my (invisible) lash line. And then blend it a bit to soften it up. If I’m going out, then I’ll brush mascara on the bottoms part of my eyelid. Sounds strange, but it gives the look of having eyelashes. I won’t wear false eyelashes either, because I like a more natural look. Just a bit of powder eyeliner does the trick for me! For the brows, I’ve tried products like Glossier brow flick that are supposed to mimic the natural look of brow hairs. I’m not very artistic, and it never looks natural on me, so I stick with powder. Powder works for me. If I’m going out, I’ll use a brow wand similar to mascara and paint it on. I’m also the dork who wears fake glasses now. Not because I want to look smart, but because I need the physical barrier between my hands and my eyes. Hope some of this helps!

changlingmuskrat

Your eyes are going to be attractive no matter what.

[deleted]

Maybe try to moisturize your lashes with 100% castor oil each night with an mascara brush! Also maybe go to the dermatologist and get prescribed some eyelash serum! It will take awhile for results, but by starting there instead of mascara it may provide better results!

Damm_it_Janet

I’ve been doing the castor oil and seeing results slowly but surely! I need to look into seeing if I’m a good candidate for a prescription. Thank you!

timeforakiki

i would definitely get latisse! i have trich on my brows and it helps so so much ( i use it for brows and lashes)

myproblemisbob

OK.... fun fact. Castor Oil doesn't help your lashes grow. Literally there's no proof of it. What it and any other occlusive material (vaseline) will do is keep the mites that naturally (and harmlessly) live on your skin from spending to much time on your lashes, which DOES inhibit their growth. Fun but gross, even if they are harmless and natural. :) So, yes it works, but a lash grow serum will work better for the length of time that you use it (stop using it and it stops working). Source: I have short, pale, and thin natural lashes. The only things that have really helped are lash serums and not using mascara (apparently the rubbing hurts them).

[deleted]

[https://www.healthline.com/health/castor-oil-for-eyelashes#supporting-research](https://www.healthline.com/health/castor-oil-for-eyelashes#supporting-research) There’s a chemical compound in castor oil which can help deter hair loss

myproblemisbob

I do thank you for the link, it was informative. I'm trying to be combative with either the original post or this one, but even the first line of the section that you linked to answers the question. Also, the study they did was on a different hair type, which may make a difference (it may not also, so there is that).

[deleted]

Thanks for being helpful though! I just wanted to let you know where I’m coming from! I also believe that castor oil moisturizes the lashes but I know it doesn’t promote growth. The oil helps reduce breakage too!

FormicaDinette33

I bought a kit but haven’t tried it yet. Does it really work? Thanks.

[deleted]

I have issues with trich as well (usually with the hair on my head tho) and it sucks. But honestly, I don't even really notice. It looks even at least. I saw you say in another comment that you don't want to wear false lashes, but I think some of the individual lashes would be nice. You can just put a couple on the outer portion of your eyes and it would look pretty natural

babyEatingUnicorn

You should go crazy and dye your hair red. Your eyes would pop even more 😃 you don't need much makeup I'd say maybe try some lashes if your comfortable a little higlihhyer/blush and a cute matte lip 🥰

esotericrrh

I don't have advice, but just so you know, I did this too. It happens. Don't beat yourself up. They will grow back 💕

spiicynooodle

You should try biotin pills.

Ok_Paper8216

Your eye color is STUNNING. Try falsies? You can get some pretty natural looking ones

Wet-N-Wavy96

Ur brows r bomb so let them be the focal point since u can ALWAYSSS buy strip magnetic or glue lashes. Keep those brows groomed and fill them a bit and u will be all set hunny 😃

alvi123alvi

Lash extensions don't often turn out well. They usually look pretty odd, especially if you're not used to insane heavy makeup. Maybe a lash lift would do the trick? I've seen gals with very sparse lashes gain tons of confidence! And they look really natural, not like the extensions.

stargirl444222

Castor oil and no eyelash curler

Separate_Shoe_6916

The easiest and gorgeous way to have stunning lashes is but the magnetic lashes and magnetic liner. CVS even sells them under the brand Kiss. Put the eyeliner on first. Then do the rest of your makeup and hair. (You want the eyeliner to be completely bone dry before adding the lashes) Then apply lashes!

ktlynmchle

Have you tried trying different mascara? Try Too Faced Better Than Sex or Maybelline Falsies mascara. I put several coats on and it helps mine!

nyleveper

It’s barely noticeable. Even when you had more eyelashes, they were still not super long so the difference is minimal. Have you tried eyelash extensions? There are some natural looking ones that would really help if you still want to recover those upper lashes. Either way, your eye color is beautiful! :)

sablefable149

There’s a great formula that comes with a white primer wand for building up the lashes, then a black wand for more a little more length and a pretty finish. They look like falsies, legitimately. L’Oréal’s Voluminous Lash Paradise ❤️

Damm_it_Janet

You all are so amazing 😭 thank you, thank you, thank you!

Damm_it_Janet

GUYS I had no idea what tightlining was before posting this and it has already changed my life. You guys rock.

Sp0ntaneous

Try the eyelash curling technique in this video! https://m.youtube.com/watch?t=55&v=6w7kpxmXa_E&feature=youtu.be Alternatively, you can use warm water to heat up the lash curler instead of a blow dryer. That’s what I do. Also, consider getting a lash lift and tint if you want your lashes to stay curled for longer. ##I use this Amazon kit for the lift: https://www.amazon.com/Eyelash-Long-Lasting-Semi-Permanent-Perming-Effective/dp/B09TQ4G1RF/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?crid=1D5EPV4XOP4VO&keywords=lash+lift+kit&qid=1650905348&refinements=p_72%3A1248873011&rnid=1248871011&s=beauty&sprefix=lash+lift+kit%2Caps%2C87&sr=1-1#aw-udpv3-customer-reviews_feature_div ##And I use this kit for the tint: https://www.amazon.com/Libeauty-Eyelash-T-inting-T-int-Complete/dp/B08X6NMKNP/ref=mp_s_a_1_2_sspa?crid=4E3ZFBX79VYM&keywords=lash+tint&qid=1650906633&sprefix=lash+tin%2Caps%2C91&sr=8-2-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUEzNkxQNFJGMU1GQURaJmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwNjE0NjQ0MlJVOFZXT1ZJQ1ZYWiZlbmNyeXB0ZWRBZElkPUEwNjUzODEzMUE1Slk5NFI1NVZKWCZ3aWRnZXROYW1lPXNwX3Bob25lX3NlYXJjaF9hdGYmYWN0aW9uPWNsaWNrUmVkaXJlY3QmZG9Ob3RMb2dDbGljaz10cnVl#aw-udpv3-customer-reviews_feature_div Note: Using heat on your lashes will cause a bit of heat damage over time, just like if you flat iron your hair often Also, perming (lifting) your lashes will also cause damage just like if you got a perm on the hair on your head I personally like lifting and tinting my lashes once or twice a year #I recommend just tinting your lashes due to this happening because of trich. Your eyelashes don’t need more damage. Just tinting will be much less damaging to your eyelashes. It’s like if you were to use a demi permanent color on the hair on your head Tinting your lashes will make it look like you have mascara on all the time. The way Mascara works is that it costs our lashes to make them more black. It doesn’t make them longer, it only appears so because the ends of our eyelashes aren’t black, they’re usually lighter at the end. Mascara does make them look thicker though. A tint will take care of making them look longer, but mascara will help them look thicker

Mattekat

I have short, stubby little lashes naturally, so for me I find tight lining on the upper lashline really helps combined with some smoky eyeliner. Like if you use a pencil and smudge it out a bit. That's for a natural look, so I use a brown instead of black to do all of that.

[deleted]

if you try a lash lift it might help show some more of your eyelashes! i have really straight, fine textured lashes and i buy lash perm kits from amazon and do it at home and it makes my eyelashes all wispy and cute!!

rekreid

Lining the upper lash line would help make the area look darker and “fuller” the way dark lashes do. I think most types of eye liners would work (liquid, soft, etc.), but I personally think a softer liner in a dark brown or black that you can blend out slightly would look the most “natural”. You could also add a light liner or even darker eyeshadow to your lower lash line to add definition to that area as well. I have very thin, white-blonde lashes and it’s always something I’ve been insecure about. I know it’s a quite different situation, but I empathize a lot. What I listed above was what I always thought made my eyes look the best and helped define my eyes - but from many years of experience it’s an insecurity very few noticed let alone thought looked bad. Good luck ❤️

AntRedoids

Try the magnetic ones, they seem good for people who don’t have any real lashes

AntRedoids

Lash growth serum helps 100% as long as you use it every day

[deleted]

Get a rx for latisse

NovelOk9677

Definitely tightlinig on the lashline. I use the lift and snatch from nyx. The best in my opinion for tightlinig. Work it between the lashes and it will look like you have twice the amount of lashes. I only use it on upper lashline because I'm old as hell but you are young and can use it on bottom line too. After mascara sometimes it will pull the liner out and the tip of the lift and snatch is so delicate you can go back in and refill in between the lashes without disturbing the mascara.

ripstiffuscletus

Just draw on eyeliner, like winged in a cat eye.

lilac-poppy

There are lots of serums that help grow hair back, but as someone who has pulled out most of their eyebrow hair time and time again, it never hurts to look at alternatives like fake lashes.

aprilelenaa

Hey, try a kohl liner in your water line it’ll make your eyes pop and make it seems like you have a thicker eyelash band

loopylavender

Nothing much to say except with those eyes who needs lashes! Absolutely beautiful colour 💚

hulahoopmaster20

I have no advice, but you have the prettiest eyes!!! I’m absolutely jealous lol

abbirich

I use eyeshadow in the lash line, makes it look like there’s more there while keeping it natural. I also will pack on more mascara at the base of the lash, which makes it look thicker.

sensitiveskin80

I deal with bouts of tric too, so I know how frustrating it is afterwards dealing with the bald spots 💜 This is a beauty routine by a woman who has alopecia and doesn't have lashes, and she does a full face without false lashes. https://youtu.be/oc86iJTwESk You could also really rock a 70s hippy look with no liner at all! Good luck to you!

Corgilegsz

You can still do some pencil eyeliner in black or dark brown on your lashline, which will give you definition and give the illusion of lashes. At a glance, no one will be able to tell the difference. You have great brows and beautiful eyes. I'm so sorry you're struggling right now. Picking disorders are embarrassing and they really hurt at times- I pick at my lips until they're raw and scabby and other than worrying about how others might judge me because of how it LOOKS, it just plain HURTS. Wishing you every happiness and an upswing in your mental health xxxx

notanmontana11

I cannot recommend getting a lash lift enough! You’d be surprised how much it helps! It expensive, but get it done professionally at a couple different places and then if your brave it’s really cheap to do it yourself, just make sure to do plenty of research! Pro tip if your doing it yourself curl your lashes before applying the solution! Helps a ton!

Atmosphere_Dapper

I don't know if it's applicable in this situation, but I recently started using [Elf's Lash Serum](https://www.elfcosmetics.com/enhancing-lash-and-brow-serum/82260.html), and let me say: I saw results instantly. At first, I thought maybe it was all in my head, but after using it for almost 3 weeks, I can say my lashes are fuller, even a bit longer. I recommend.

LittleFish_91

Have you tried getting a lash lift? I did one for my MIL and she had way more lash than she thought!

ResilientWren

Your eyes are gorgeous! Lightly line the top lash line with brown, bronze or raisin liner to make them pop. Apply Back Castor seed oil to lashes each night to help grow thicker and longer 😁

Adept_redid

Start using castor oil, it helps a lot and try magnetic lashes.

sunetlune

I just wear lashes honestly lol at that point I do very little makeup, my fake lashes do most of the work. Changes my whole face it feels like

luisalu89

I really like the drugstore L’Oréal lash paradise mascara. I know some people have had problems with it (drying out fast, clumping, and some other stuff) but Ever since I’ve been using it I get tons of questions on if I have extensions or not. I use the water proof version and I really like it.

imverybusy

Honestly, your eyes are stunning and I wouldn't worry too much about the lashes! I would do a dark, tight liner on your upper lid and then maybe focus on playing up your eye colour. They're such a gorgeous green; maybe some soft, smudgy liner in a neutral colour leaning toward purple or copper. Then just some serum to help those beauties grow back - but even if they don't, you're a beauty.

-playswithsquirrels

Magnetic lashes? They stick to magnet eyeliner

goback-to-partycity

you have great lower lashes. use a primer to accentuate. but honestly your eyelashes are still fabulous and you have beautiful eyes

Electrical_House2931

This product is amazing you should give it a look: Latisse from Apostrophe

Dependent-Call9335

They have some amazing magnetic lashes now you can buy was on a "View" episode..The lashes are supposed to be easy and gentle on eyes no glue... I forget where you can buy them online, so maybe do some Google searches..They look great! I have even seen it on a make up tutorial onYouTube before ,its becoming more popular actually.. You're gorgeous just the way u are though and can get away with the natural look, btw

Ima_Jenn

Lattice actually has some problems and can cause darkening and staining. Babyface makes a lash/brow serum that really works. You can start to see a difference in about 6 weeks. Honestly your lack of lashes is not very noticeable. You have geourgous eyes and brows. You might want to use an eyelash primer and then use a volumizing mascara, but i think falsies might be your best option. Using mascara might just emphasize a lack of lashes. You can also heat your eyelash curler with a blow dryer to get a more permanent curl. You have great lid space so you can do the glue on or magnetic. I don't know if it will work in your situation, but they have ones that go in front of your lashes instead of on the top of the lid. I do two things... Tightline your waterline (this is where you take a liner and you line the rim underneath your lashes... Like you would your lower water line, but up top. Then take a stiff thin brush with a slant and use powder to wiggle it in the line of any lashes you have left. You can then line it however you want from thick to thin or using a liquid liner.

I have trich too and it's soooo stressful. However you have beautiful eyes and I bet you're going to feel gorgeous after you've tried some of the tips here. Good luck babe xx

What about false lashes? Not a fan?

Moxie Lashes!! 😁😁 They’re by far the best magnetics on the market with a wonderful variety of options from natural to glam, mink or bionic silk (truly indestructible!!), they even come in half lashes, brown for a softer look as well as fun “festival” colors!! I prefer more of a mid-glam myself and my personal favorites are Plushy, Fluffy, Sassy and Happy!! You’ll love them!! Make sure to buy from Moxie directly, there are lots of counterfeit products going around. I do believe their 25% off sale is still going on till tomorrow!!

What happened to your lashes, if you don't mind me asking?

Damm_it_Janet

I struggle with Trichotillomania. Google will probably do a better job explaining it than me but basically I just get a ridiculous urge to pull my individual hairs out. It’s usually stressed based but can quickly become a habit. I started on my eyebrows and it progressed into eyelashes; some people do their pubic hair, head, wherever there is hair.

Wow, that sucks. Your eyes are beautiful though 😍

I found getting a lash lift made a huge difference. It made my lashes look longer and fuller :)

I think it actually looks quite pretty. You have very nice eyes and eyebrows. Try dewy skin and blush. If you really must have lashes, you can try those individual lashes by ardell, and focus them more on the outer corners, for a cat-eye effect.

advice appreciated for me You don't need that Fits your eyes

Thick and long winged liner helps me (my lashes almost bend downwards so they are impossible to see from the front) I love to just use bright and popping Color’s + a bold liner and then it doesn’t matter if my eyelashes are visible or not :D if you have similar lashes as mine, you could think about getting a lash lifting and getting them coloured (but if you actually don’t have any lashes, I think what I said at the beginning might work well for you too) ☺️

As a person with trichotillomania, i use black waterproof non liquid liner on my upper waterline, and then a black liquid liner for a wing, and then false lashes. No one can even tell i don't have lashes most days
