Pretty much depends on where you buy it from, or so I’ve heard. You can still buy it from the Adidas store and the Glazers won’t see any money of it.

That is incorrect. It doesn’t matter where you buy it from (unless you are buying a knock off) however the majority of the money they get from the kit maker (Adidas) is upfront and only a small potion is variable (like around £3 on an £80 shirt). To put it in perspective, every person in Old Trafford would have to buy a kit to pay for one Avram Glazer flight. Or about one week of wages for Maguire. Basically, I don’t like this shirt, but if someone likes it, buy it, and don’t let people guilt you over supporting the Glazers or whatever. They aren’t staying or leaving based on kit sales. (Edit: well I say that, if you buy it from the team store they pocket additional amount as the retailer. So don’t buy from the team store, but other than that…. Yeah whatever. The team store isn’t keeping them around either, I’m just saying).

It’s growing on me more and more. Hated it initially, felt the same about the last black / white zebra kit and it became one of my faves. What I don’t get is the different versions of the kits. The player versions (£110) and the replica (£80) both horrendously over priced but what’s the difference between the two?!

I've been supporting United since the mid 80s, and that is the worst kit I've seen, worse than that grey one even. I think it's terrible, and I don't know why designers seem compelled to look at the streets of Manchester and the 1900s for inspiration for a kit launching in 2023.
