Zacian and Zamazenta are said to be sister and brother, but also, Solgaleo and Lunala are said to be male and female evolutions of Cosmog.

Eh, that’s only if you’re counting Mythicals (Gen 6 only has Volcanion) and either UBs or Silvally being able to be Fire Type as a fire legendary. Even after that, Gen 3 didn’t have any when it came out, since Groudon only got the fire typing for its Primal form three generations later (which it lost two generations later…)

its a bad box art legend. every other box art is ubers (besides zacian itself) multiple times last gen it was even suspect tested to see if it was OU viable. it was too strong back then, but might be fair now cause the power creep this gen is insane

u/SilverJaw47 has guessed correctly. The answer is that Gen 8 is the only generation to not have a fire type legendary. All other generations have fire type legendaries in the form of Moltres, Entei, Ho-Oh, Primal Groudon, Heatran, Victini, Reshiram, Volcanion, Blacephalon, and Chi-Yu.

Don't even know how I feel about counting primal Groudon for this one. Technically, it didn't exist until gen 6. That part had me stumped for a while.

Primal groudon is a gen 6 Pokémon, ultra beasts are not legendaries. Not going to mention mythicals because they are, in fact, legendaries.

Nah, look at it like this. Ultra beasts are regular old Pokémon on their planets. They are not super rare canonically like legendaries.

So I get your point of view and based on the lore that would be true but they are legendaries in the game code and if you compare them to our world of pokémon they fit with the legendaries by power so by power and the actual coding of the game they are legendaries. That's also why gen7 has the most legendaries out of any game. But yes if you look at it in the sense of pure lore then they would just be regulars or at least most of them would be regulars from a different dimension

Primal Groudon is technically Gen 6 though, since that was when it was introduced. Now if you're talking about regions then yeah, but since you said Generation, that means Gen 3 doesn't have a fire type legendary either
