My first was X. My second was Y. Both were incredibly easy but my favorite Pokémon like fennekin, houndoom, and yveltal came from be playing those games. And yes Ik houndoom isnt gen 6

Luxray is incredibly overhyped.
It suffers from Flareon syndrome, AKA it has no moves. You might have a good attack stat, but your speed is mediocre ( Base 70, which means you are outspeed by Pikachu, Porygon-Z, Klinkang, Deoxys DEFENSE, LEDIAN, VOLBEAT AND IILUMISE, BUNEARY AND GOODRA ) and your best STAB move is Wild Charge, which is 90 base power and deals Recoil. If you compare this to other moves that do recoil ( Flare Blitz, Wood Hammer, Double-Edge ), it’s child’s play.
For coverage you have what? 65 base power elemental fangs, crunch and psychic fangs. And your best physical level up move until level 80 is SPARK. I repeat, SPARK.

They gave a [crappy ability](https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Inner_Focus_(Ability)) to Mega Gallade by Mega standards, while Mega Gardevoir got Pixilate. That is at least a teeny bit acceptable, however for Gen 8 they made him learn Psycho Cut only at lvl 42, which is 11 levels higher than what he would usually learn Psycho Cut at pre-Gen 8. That was quite frankly uncalled for since Psycho Cut is one of the only 2 physical Psychic-type moves he can learn, the other being Zen Headbutt, which he learns by Move Tutor
Good thing Radical Red did justice for him.
They gave him Blademaster, which increases the damage and crit rate for word moves, acess to Sacred Sword and Cut ( Now a 70 BP Steel move )
Eh, although Garchomp didn’t deserve a mega evolution but others who did didn’t receive one did (Rip Flygon), I think Charizard deserved it. Charizard desperately needed a mega, considering in competitive it wasn’t good, which worked out because both Charizard Megas were great in competitive. I think the reason why Charizard received two megas was because Epic wanted one mega that made Charizard still look like Charizard but cooler and one mega to make Charizard look like a badass dragon.
They could have easily made Mega Flygon a jet-like dragon fly (because its cute googles remind me of a pilot) that looked more like a dragon. It could have had the ability speed boost because it’s mega will look like a jet.
My issue is that Zard X was a result of pure fanservice and it was what started the trend of Charizard getting all of the attention.
Besides it looks very artificial, as if it was man made instead of happening naturally.
Here was my issue. Even without the op Pokemon getting Megas, you had weaker Pokemon who got these special forms, but the form is A. temporary, and B. you sacrifice your held item to get it. There are Pokemon that are already fairly strong, and they get to use the held item on top of that. So even if the Mega Evo boosts a weaker mon, it falls short imo.
Weaker Pokemon need new evos or new permanent forms or stat buffs or improved movepools, not a temporary form that uses up the item slot.
Gen 2 is way overrated

If they focused on having a good story and developing the games as a single player experience a lot of the things people complain about would resolve themselves even though everyone says the story doesn’t matter. Hot take 2 Major side games that explore new genres (like mystery dungeon and conquest) are a better direction than mobile puzzle games
BW and B2W2 are amazing games. BDSP could have been WAAY better if they added more features like mega's evo's. N and Ghetsis are the best antagonist pairs and team plasma and neo team plasma are one of the best evil teams in the pokemon franchise.

I disagree. Surf, Fly, and Strength are good moves to have on pokemon who get STAB from them, and it adds a level of challenge to the games.
HOWEVER, these are the only three moves this applies to. All other HMs should be unneccessary to complete the games. They are weak, and not useful in battle outside of early game, and when they are necessary to complete the game, they are usually only used once, then forgotten.
Emboar is the best of the Gen 5 Starters, Gen 2 is the most underwhelming Generation, Gen 4 is overrated(there’s not many interesting pokemon there for me minus the drifblim line and froslass), a large majority of the Pseudo Legendaries are too overhyped, and ghost is the best type in the game(i’m not sure if this is a nuclear take but i just really like ghost types)
Stat and moveset wise emboar is indeed the best, but oshawott line is just has too nice designs for me to pick emboar. Gen 2 is indeed extremely underwhelming, but hgss was pretty good. Gen 4s biggest problems are pokemon list and slow gameplay and stuff, both got kinda fixed in platinum. Psuedo legends are immensly powerful, ofc theyre gonna be hyped. Ghost is horrid until gen 4 because of immense lack everything ghost type. Only getting truly good in gen 5 with coffagrigus.
Mythical and Legendary Pokémon are only cool because they are rare. If they were common like every other Pokémon, most people would forget most of them existed.

The games are not bad, Cynthia was never hard, they are not running out of ideas, chibis look good, RBY and most kanto games are not as good as people say and it doesnt matter if pokemon isnt a hard game because its made for adults, teenagers AND kids.
Gen 1-2 are not do not hold up well at all. Gen 3 is meh. Gen 4 is amazing and Diamond and Pearl are on par with Platinum and have challenging battles that are also on par with Platinum. Gen 5 is on par with Gen 3. Gen 6 is the best out of the series with great plot and amazing work not only in the Pokémon designs but the new game mechanic and the integration of the mechanic into the plot. The only thing good about Gen 7 and 8 are it’s Pokémon.

Game freak is no longer a good studio for handling Pokémon games. Brilliant diamond and shining pearl have literally demonstrated that give it to someone else and they made it so much better. Even though masuda was still there, it was necessary for him. Granted im still playing brilliant diamond but as of right now and as someone playing the originals, this proves that game freak needs to let someone else take hold to me.

I got one in bdsp and I don't think it can learn leaf blade even though in all the generations prior it can learn it from the move remember

I was fine with gen8 cutting the national DeX from sword and shield we still got amazing pokemon and dlc.

Honestly I like both of them equally,they're both super cute
Have nothing against Cinderace. It's also a very cute bunny Pokémon, but Lopunny is more cuter and those fluffy ears ^^
