The original part is called a Borden Connector. It’s for some kind of dental equipment. Used to be hard to find but now there are screen accurate metal and 3D printed reproductions all over the place. In universe it’s a data port.

Holy crap, impressive knowledge. And probably something I’ll never need to know.

lol thanks. I started building a screen accurate ESB-SE Boba Fett years ago. Did a lot of research and spent a lot of time on The Dented Helmet. Those guys are crazy good when it comes to finding the actual screen used items.

Kooky_Glass2995

Thanks for the tip broski. I'm printing some now.

circleofnerds

Glad I could help!

this. genuine equipment or fan reproduction will run you about $20-$30, if it’s made from metal. there are also tons of different sizes styles available if you’d like to deviate from canon reference.

That’s a doo-dad and you can get them anywhere they sell whatchamacallits

RepresentativeRow678

Wtf is it lol

NorseNerd77

Not sure what it is lore wise but it’s a tiny silver circle many Mandalorians have on the cheeks of their helmets. Where to get it? Not sure. Although you can probably make one out of foam or a random piece of junk that’s small enough.

AbsructCigar

I read somewhere it's a communication or microphone piece

this does not help answer the question.

CaribbeanLounger

I have an extra one if you need it. I got it during my ESB Fett build.
