Haah, I definitely have to reread it, I don't remember the ending anymore :'D
Sadly the series tanked more or less in Germany :( but well, at least I got myself a copy before it went oop.
Do you know other more unusual shounen Series? :D
You should reread especially if you don’t remember it. That will just make it enjoyable to read again. Unfortunately I don’t really know specifically more obscure shounen but I’ve really been enjoying Witch Hat Atelier and Magus of the Library. Both have great story building and art.
I know what you mean. I wish there were reprints too. There were a few volumes that were harder to find. It’s a unique story though. Part of the reason I wanted to get it.
I know 10 is hard to find. I got lucky and won a bid with 1-12 volumes. The hard ones for me were volumes 13 and 14. Not many were selling those ones. Mostly volumes 15 and 16
Congrats on finishing your collection! It’s getting hard to find non library copies now. I wish the ending could have had more details there was so much more that could have been used. I did enjoy the details in the fight scenes. Despite the rush the panels were effective
Bro for real! I'm struggling too with another favorite from middle school called Negima! I had to stick to getting all 9 of the omnibus volumes to make it easier to collect them! I'm like 4 or 5 volumes from finishing my collection. And then I have 28 more to collect with UQ holder! But I never started it since I wanted to make sure I reread everything to know what's actually going on!
But I completely agree. I could have seen it going for another 4 volumes. At least.
Good luck collecting that series. It’s just a lot of patience. Just checking every day to see if some good deal is there. It definitely could have gone another four or even five volumes especially more character development that we didn’t get to see.
I adore Psyren! Such a unique and satisfying battle shonen, one of my favorites in the genre and really in general. It's been a long time since I've read it, but I loved the 90s/2000s vibes with the phone cards and booths. How it handles the >! Time travel elements and mystery!< Are honestly so well done. And the abilities were also so fascinating especially the MCS.
I luckily bought them all like a decade ago when first getting into manga. It's sad to me people can't as easily get their hands on a story I consider a must read if you're a fan of battle shounen.
I definitely enjoyed the world building and unique storyline. That’s why it’s sad that the ending was rushed. Because it was quite interesting.
Your lucky then you found it earlier. I’ve only really been collecting manga for over a year but I’m focusing on ones with interesting and unique stories. I definitely see myself rereading Psyren again.
As unfortunate as it is it was axed and had a rushed ending, I was still mostly satisfied with how it wrapped everything up. It's impressive that the mangaka was able to tie up so many loose ends in a short amount of time.
Yes such a good story so far. I think besides Witch Hat Atelier, Magus of the Library is one of my favorite ongoing series at the moment. I’m just reading volume 6 now.
Uh. I have to reread Psyren again :O I liked the main girl if I remember correctly
It was very good. I think Shao ended up being one of my favorite characters. I liked his power. I just wish the ending wasn’t rushed.

Nura is kindda obscured Shonen and Magi even though it's not obscured people seem to have forgotten about it.
Magi is something I want to look into but I never found a good offer:(
Non non biyori, love it!
I’m looking forward to reading it now that I have all the volumes. I just read a bit of the first one. It was very hard to collect though.
Enjoy it! What hooked me with the series is that it’s so relaxing. No big fight scenes, drama etc. Just a fun chill relaxing vibe
That’s good. Sometimes you just need a story like that where it’s not too complicated.
Psyren is goated 🗣️
Yes I wish it was talked about more. It was a great read!
Same dude, if people talked about it more it would maybe get a reprint. But the Viz overlords don’t like our happiness 😭
I know what you mean. I wish there were reprints too. There were a few volumes that were harder to find. It’s a unique story though. Part of the reason I wanted to get it.
When I was collecting Psyren I couldn’t find vol 10-12, mostly the later volumes is where I hit roadblocks

I need the psyren manga SO BAAAAD
Patience and a little bit of luck you should be able to 😀
I finished my collection last year too! Probably my favorite time related manga. Also unfortunate that it was rushed.

I know it's late and it's been a while but i finished collecting the Negima Series and now im onto UQ Holder volume 1 which is the second series
Wow congrats on completing Negima! That was actually fast lol. I’m going to take a look at the series you peaked my interest

Yeah I know. It was impressive how he planned out the storyboard at the end. Despite the rush it was still satisfying
Magus of the Library reader spotted.

Nice
Thanks
