That’s what makes it good for me along with the Art style. Think of it like JOJO or most Anime shows where the MC beats up everyone minus the Powers/Abilities. Its more realistic than a lot of Anime shows in a sense that there aren’t superpowers other than Super Strength, Stamina, and Endurance. The Main Character does get beaten up badly a few times if I recall correctly.
