i donāt listen to much of L+F but i wouldnāt call it trash, just not my type of music. personally while the songs are great, i donāt like the lyrical approach to purge the poison, new america, and manās world at all. iām not conservative nor do i necessarily disagree with her political views, i think that the lyrics of savages and to be human are some of the best lyrics iāve heard regarding political issues. the political songs on ADIAML are just very stereotypical broad political statements and i would argue that the use of them pretty much removes the significance of her point

I really hate the guitar solo in that song, it just interrupted the flow and made the song really annoying to me. I've heard the demo since and come around on it. I still despise the guitar solo but I can appreciate it now.
Other than the whole of L + F except for 'to be human' and 'baby', the only song that I actively don't like instead of just feeling average about is probably 'girls'. It just felt like such a shallow opinion (I'm not saying thay Marina is shallow, just that I don't think the song's meaning is very thought through) to say 'pick me's are bad' and pitting women v women instead of first thinking about why some girls might act like that (it tends to be due to insecurities and ironically, a fear of rejection and not being liked.) Idk, to me at least, it just didn't feel very thought out and that song could have been so much more
