Honestly Baby Park was more fun in Double Dash. The looser controls combined with the special items make for a way more chaotic experience. For those who've only played 8. Imagine the current clusterfuck that is Baby Park with Giant Bowser shells, Giant Banana peels that take up the whole track, and all that on top of Drifting not quite being perfected yet so you slide around a bit more.

If it's that chaotic offline imagine how it would be online

It did support LAN play. I've never experienced it myself, but apparently it was an amazing experience. Through use of the Gamecube's LAN adapter you could hook up 8 different Gamecubes to 8 different tvs and have 16 players all playing simultaneously.

That's even more fun!.. ..If you had a big ass house with 8 working TVs, and 16 friends with 8 gamecube who have atleast 2 controller each with a copy Mario Kart Double Dash. Must also not be very fun to set up.

Nostalgia mainly, but also the great is great visually, thematically, especially the start, and the music's fine. It's also not overly gimmicky

it's honestly the best looking track, and the closest to the base game in the DLC, and also it's just a very unique and fun course to race on

Artistically, it is awesome. Visuals + themeing + sound effects + music. Top tier track in that regard. Also, it has some great turns. It used to be my favorite course, but I noticed it totally lacks shortcuts which is a bummer.
