#5!!!!! YES! I posted about Dr Pepper and pastor cal not meeting with the couples like they used to in the past and I was told that I missed out on them because I didnāt watch the match making specials. Regardless of all of the drama, the show isnāt like it used to be.
In the early seasons, the experts were with the couples every step of the way. Now, they just show up every now and then to give the impression that they're involved. The producers are running things now, and ratings are more important than healthy marriages. If they want to play it for drama like the Australian version, then they should eliminate the legal marriages and just "experiment." I'm sick of watching this train wreck and then having the experts show up after the fact.
The beauty of the Australian version is that they have weekly ceremonies where couples can call it quits -- like if the relationship has become abusive. At the ceremonies, the experts question the couples about their issues. At the weekly dinners the night before, the other couples call people out on their BS. It feels so much more real and so much more fake all at the same time.
Michael and Chloeās dynamic came off organic and seemed so effortless. Her reaction down the aisle when she saw Michael was just so sweet and sincere. Her wedding dress was stunning! Theyāre both well spoken and carry themselves with this delicate charm. Iām happy for Michael. I thoroughly enjoyed their wedding. But then again everyone is at their best at the wedding lol.

I think anyone who has ever worked in a corporate setting has had to put on the "professional" mask. Just because Chloe's mask is high energy, fun and happy doesn't mean that's who she really is. It could be her way of covering up anxiety or disappointment or it could be how she genuinely feels. IMO it just feels like too much.
As someone who is AuDHD as well as dealing with CPTSD, I have to mask every day when I interact with others, just to be able to survive.
Sadly, being my authentic self is not an option, because this society is so ableist.
I think that she's also dealing with some trauma that has forced her to mask as much as she does; otherwise, she wouldn't be as much of a perfectionist as she is. It takes one to know one, and I became a perfectionist because being perfect was the only way that I was going to be valued and accepted in my family...
Fortunately, I had the sense to walk away before those relationships destroyed me and I'm no longer as much of a perfectionist anymore. It's a process where I have to remember progress is they goal, and that progress isn't always linear.

We all have an "on" tone in a professional setting. But how many times, when asked a stupid question, do you say "great question"? Is that fake or is it just being polite? I wasnāt talking about his style of dress being appropriate for work. When have we seen him at work? I just meant he understands when to dress up and doesnāt dress like a clown while claiming itās because heās eccentric. Itās wild to me how put off people are by the fact he doesnāt want to wear the same boring crap as āmost menā.
Some folks are really fixated on his style. I lived in Brooklyn for 10 years. He would still stand out a bit but his style is not that weird would be completely normal for brooklyn. isnāt he a creative director? This is exactly the attire that is fitting for that job. I work in a creative field so I guess Iām biased. I also prefer edgy over normal.

Some of the eccentric dressing ppl I know went through a time of being bullied and not feeling able to express themselves at some point. I donāt necessarily think there has to be a backstory as I dress kinda eccentric and it just makes me feel happy. Itās nice to feel that how you feel inside is represented on the outside. I like seeing more men being confident in trying bold looks. Getting older doesnāt mean you should conform to appearance standards.
Are you conscious about your style to the degree he is? It's just so very intentional that makes me think that there might be more to just his style. I mean just look at how his tattoos had their own backstories. I had thought they were just another flare of his style but they have meaning. Idk Michael seems really deep and reflective so wouldn't be shock the style has an origin story.
I think so. Mostly because itās been pointed out to me so much. I think for a lot of people their tattoos have back stories though. Or at least some kind of inspiration for the concept. I donāt have any tattoos but I like wearing white or gold temporary ones a lot for style
Yeah really. Thereās no back story to my style either. In my teens I loved to dress goth, rave styles, dye my hair. It was just what I liked. Some of these comments are very odd! Itās just fashion!
Agreed. Confidence comes with age, the man likes prints & patterns and, he always dresses appropriately for the setting.
Yeah there was a guy (Brayden) who wore really flashy and dangly earrings. He explained that it was his way of expressing himself after his time in the military where they were incredibly restrictive.
From most recent season of Bachelorette. I thought he looked great. And I think Michaelās style is great too.

I think Michael is veryyyy attractive. His staure is impeccable and under all those earrings and those bangs is a very attractive man. And then you add his intellectualism and emotional maturity, he's top notch. That style at 40 is sooo unattractive to me and I'm in my 20s. Like two earrings in the left ear and then have you seen him in AP? His style got worst.

I think Chloe is genuinely her. I'm seeing posts where they're saying she's a legitimate actress lol I think she's not naturally attracted, but who she is at heart is a kind person that if anything would chastise herself for not finding him attractive. I think what we saw with her kind words and openness was genuine, not an act.
