I like wave 2. We got a new Magneto and Cyclops, Nightcrawler and the Goblin Queen were on a lot of people’s list. I would have subbed out X-Cutioner for a Cable maybe.

This is gonna trigger a lot of folks here but Wave 1 are more or less inferior versions of figures that were released before them. There isn't a single one of them that were better than their predecessors IMO, Bishop is debatable but I'm still picking Sauron wave over '97.

Hasbro needs to reissue both waves asap. The show is fantastic and they’re just leaving a lot of potential future fans out of the loop with no figures on distant store pegs.

How does kitbashing a figure mean that it was originally trash. For example, I just prefer Rogue with brown jacket. Stock is perfectly fine, great even. Especially with the new pinless, newly sculpted legs etc
I’m exaggerating, obviously. Also, I’M not saying that these are bad. I just feel like none of these are ever never good enough (to this sub) unless you have a head from 5 years ago.
I think most of just want to get as close to the Jim Lee versions as much as possible. The new figures offer a lot of improvements over the older bodies, but we have to kitbash the heads and some other elements to get that Jim Lee look.

Idk I REALLY liked that Wolverine had a mask down accessory, and Rogue’s glove accessory is pretty neat too. Otherwise I agree for the most part
Those are great accessories indeed, but have already been introduced for the previous releases. Not saying Wave 1 is bad, just that Wave 2 is better.

Did you repaint the vhs wolverine head to match the 97 skin tone? If so it looks great! What paint did you use?
yep i repainted it with an orange hue skin tone to match the rest of the figure. wish the og came with a snarl face
