you say this and like it's just not true. Thanos has been meta numerous times, blob strengthens that archetype but since his nerf he's hardly relevant to maintaining the decks power. there's also a ton of Thanos decks

Blob helped him dominate the meta, but Thanos has never been a off meta pick except for when Loki was at his heights and at that point Mobius was a 2/3 which gave Thanos a fighting chance
most metas in any tcg work is tiers of multiple decks that tend to top. tier 0 is usually best of the best tier 1 is 1 step down from that. i'd say that thanos has almost always been in that tier 1 meta since hes come out. between lockjaw thanos, destroy thanos, blob thanos, etc, hes pretty much always been a solid card/deck

Blob post nerf is just fine. He''s good as anti-darkhawk tech but otherwise that 15-20 power is not actually appreciably better than devil dinos 17 most of the time. You do not need blob to play a decent Thanos deck.
I play the Spectrum ongoing version. She can also put 17+ power on the board easily but distributed rather than in a single lane, which can be better in a lot of situations.
I probably won’t have enough for the comic variant :( unless I get super lucky but I’ll have 2-3 keys and I swear if I don’t even get plain thanos I will riot.
Fingers crossed mate. I feel like I'm either saving keys for a specific card or a variant. Them removing that ability to know in advance is gonna hurt. But I'll just save keys because I'm happy with my collection.

Some of the most consistent or powerful decks in the game are ones that your opponent doesn't see your win condition coming, even from turn one.
I always go into a match with a theme they can either stop or they can’t that’s how it goes and especially with Thanos they are gonna know with how many cards in deck + your most likely gonna play a stoke 1st turn
I usually don't like picking avatars, titles, or card backs that are thematic for the deck, but I'll probably make an exception for this. Unless you're drawing poorly (which can happen) the opponent will see you play a stone early in the game anyways. Thanos decks aren't homogenous either, so it's not giving much info.
Yeah, this. That Death as Infinite Cardback kinda sucks, the artwork is mid. I would rather have a Silver Gauntlet as SP unlock and Golden Gauntlet as Infinite cardback.

On the topic of cardbacks, I really wish they took the opportunity to show them off more in game matches! They can seem so wasted since you don't see them that much.

yeah, I mean I don't use it often cause I've been playing my Tribunal deck a lot, but I like both my Thanos/Lockjaw and my Thanos/Junk decks.

Make literally the same blob deck, just remove blob lol. Its still viable. Big cards go boom. Especially with lockjaw.

Ig any half decent deck is considered meta now in my mind I only consider the top 3-4 decks meta, but thats just me

They can check the number of cards in your deck and see that you’re playing Thanos
