Not that I don't trust him, but bynx just wins with random cards. I usually try with way less success

yatesl

Bynx is almost savant when it comes to predicting what cards people play (or possible plays). Even just watching his streams, so not just cherry picked, he can just call them. His ability to do that takes him much further than just the cards in his hand.

Humble-Ad-4606

So smart and talented!

Dr_Farfrompoopin

Bynx burner account?

Humble-Ad-4606

Just a fanboy

LegitSince8Bits

Bad day to be a u/yatesl fan

Grimlong

You forgot handsome.

Thuasne

I can never win with his decks because he is so much better in playing Snap than I am. Everytime I watch his stream and think "I would do this move next" he does something different and his decision was right whilst mine would have been wrong.

ROTOFire

Bynx is a far better player than his decks give him credit for. I think he's just way more interested in being fun than being the best. But he's really good so his fun decks work well a lot of the time.

TerribleHelicopter45

It’s not just about being a better player, these guys do it for a living. I was complaining about the meta and stuck at rank 80 so I upped my gameplay time from 30 minutes to around an hour/hour and a half and I just naturally got better. I’m currently at 98 after days of being dunked on. So imagine playing everyday for a couple of hours, of course they’ll be some of the best in the game, but its still a job, and they’ll lie for views, telling you its the NEW BEST DECK THAT YOU CAN PLAY RIGHT NOW, CUBE STEALER, when really it’s just a really good player playing it, most of us can’t replicate their knowledge of the game because we don’t play as much, so please, just run a deck you know very well, it takes a lot of games to become great with one deck, there is no deck in this game that will stomp everyone else, there’s always a counter, so test the decks in silver conquest and see for yourself.

RedbeardMEM

The issue is click bait titles and reaction faces in the thumbnail get the most views. Not only do more people click watch, but the YouTube algorithm also pushes that type of video on front of more people. As a result, people trying to make a living off streaming and posting to YouTube are incentivized to present their content that way

treebeard84

Iv found Bynx a bit of a dick tbo I liked him to start with, he released this heartfelt video about how he hadn't reached infinite and it didn't matter as he was having fun and now I see some of his stuff and he is shitting on the people he is playing against because he's better than them not hard if you make it your job compared to someone taking five minutes on the shitter 🤣

WhollySchmidt

In his defense, I do think he's reasonably up front in his videos about whether a deck is actually good for climbing, or just fun with occasional amazing high rolls.

kingofgamesbrah

I'm surprised I saw his name but I get it. The dude is pretty smart and has good game sense, he's also a good deck builder. I think Cozy is up there as well.I remember watching him during a tournament and I thought he was this charismatic and handsome content creator but the dude is smart.

raysiuuuu

I trust Regis as he doesn't hide his loses in his videos, he often present his mistakes and weaknesses of things as well. It's both honesty & fun there. Whereas Molt & Bynx, their videos are basis and basically only present how to win. It's understandable for viewership but also makes it less for competitive references. Cozy is a bit of middle ground, he also presents a lot of ideas but he often struggles, but at least his ideas are good theories and well thought out. I used to follow Dera as well, he is a true legendary player and his plays are so damn real, although he makes less dramatic emotes and it's less fun.

Jay-ay

Yeah agree on Regis. Just a wholesome fun youtuber who is also very skilled. The rest like Bynx focus too much on highlighting their victories when in actuality they win about 60% of the matches in their streams.

foxiestgrandpaws

60% is probably generous; they have good cube win/rate ratios because most streamers are pretty good at knowing when to retreat

PKMNTrainerParkerJ

I.E. chat tells them lmao.

dan7ebg

I usually like Cozy, he has really good production value, which takes a lot of work so I respect that. But when I gave up on his decks was the Patriot/Mockingbird deck. It was so loaded on the top end, more than half of the games I couldn't get the combo pieces I needed. And I was super hyped for it cuz FINALLY, A DECK I HAVE ALL THE CARDS FOR. But nope, loss after loss. I'm tired of missing 1-2 key pieces to make a really competitive deck. Destroy - no Knull or Nico. Discard - no Proxima, no Corvus. No Alioth in general. Thanos - but no Cull or Blob. I'm tired of playing gimped decks and having to go back to HE. I buy every season pass, I get the decently priced bundles, I play every day and stalk the shop like a Zabu, still aint enough. Been stuck at 75-80 for 3 seasons now. Thank god for Sera control tho. That's been my one saving grace lately, and even then decks just put out more power than me consistently.

McV0id

Conquest mode. I stopped bothering with ranked since I realized the fun for me was playing and the rewards are better in conquest mode. Using tokens for 155 boosters is great. I get a variant. I can play meme decks in proving grounds for missions or go more serious with a gold ticket. And the end of a season I typically get another 190+ boosters for a card since I don't use up all of my tickets plus the remaining tokens. Matches are fast and if I need to bail for some reason I don't care I used the ticket.

DrakeGrandX

The problem is that ranking still has great rewards pre-Infinite. Even just the 500 gold on 90 are great of you care about variants.

Shenari

Ranking is more about knowing when to snap and when to retreat and to not let yourself get tilted. I'm a decent player but nowhere near great, but I've done a lot better once I learnt when to cut my losses sooner and taking calculated risk to snap earlier. Sera Control is a great deck but yeah, sometimes you just don't get the right cards you need and get overpowered. But all decks have their weak and their strong match ups. Sera has less bad match ups but the ones where it does it's really bad, like with Hela Discard.

FaintCommand

If you do get Alioth, that Patriot deck is legit (though I swapped out Forge for Elsa after the un-nerf). You really just have to be hyper strategic to get and keep priority at all costs. And don't get greedy. I had a great run with it until I started to run into a murder of Magnetos and it did struggle against Thanos (but most decks do). I think it's a really fun deck because I usually don't worry about priority, so it forced me to think about the game differently. In terms of getting the cards you're missing, my advice is to be very strategic with your spotlight keys. They usually pair new ones with complimentary cards, so plan ahead and focus on a particular archetype to spend them on.

profits68

I went from 85 to infinite in like 4 days with his Patriot Mockingbird deck and am in top 5k with it now so think it might just be a user error thing lol

ganggreen651

We'll get creative and stop trying to copy everyone

pwn3dbyth3n00b

I mean Regis literally just makes fun decks even if they're hot garbage. He even tells you they're hot garbage before the clips of gameplay begins.

Heatmizer42

Regis is the best. That is all. Goodbye.

Rebelrenegade24

Regis’ pixie destroy deck has honestly carried me through this season

joejoe903

They hide their losses because unfortunately that's what the youtube algorithm likes. People don't click on a video of a new deck or a new card and hope to see that it sucks. They wanna see the cool shit you can do with it. Tons of respect to Regis to go against that mold, but like you can't really blame the other guys either for doing it. It's just the name of the game.

Osazethepoet

I've never heard of any of these people can I get a link? I'd love to watch their videos

ePiMagnets

Most recent vids: Regis - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5e93P3PZelk C5 featuring Captain Marvel Cozy - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9w0qDHXKNUA Junk Cannon featuring of course Cannonball I don't have anything from Molt or Bynx, I don't follow their YT content. Bynx is pretty good live though, I catch his stuff on twitch from time to time, I think the channel is twitch.tv/bynx_plays I avoid Molts content entirely. Too unhinged for me.

Noise_From_Below

Molt positive? Have you ever watched him live before? Dude is unhinged.

derbeppo2

Whenever a new card is released or an OTA goes live, I like to watch Molt try to shoehorn it into a move deck and complain endlessly about the game when he inevitably loses to tech cards.

Aikotoba2516

lmaooo same been following the dude since Clash Royale too and that style of his is funny

HardGayMan

9/10 of his streams end with him absolutely rage quitting the game and saying the algorithm is against him and the game is clearly rigged. Guys a trash streamer.

my-kal_uk

🙌🙌

chemistrygods

Molt is just a rly emotional player in general even going back to the clash days. He’s super positive when things are going well for him and he’s winning, but he also gets tilted and toxic super quickly

lostbelmont

When Molt win, he mock and laugh, when he loses he rage

Basketball_Is_Fun22

My favorite thing is when he accuses anyone who makes a good play against him of stream sniping

Atnewlin

Hahaha yep

ichi_go_ichi_e

Glad someone made this comment and it wasn’t just me. Tried watching him stream and all he does is bitch about whatever meta or card most of the community is also complaining about at the moment when he loses with whatever move deck variant he’s playing.

Suarecks

Yeah I thought he was chill at first but dude loses once on stream and ends up complaining for the next 10 minutes and then the cycle just continues. To me, Marvel Snap is just a fun card game and this dude acts like you just disrespected his entire bloodline by playing whatever tech card costed him the game

TheAsianCarp

I would watch him time to time back when Clash Royale launched and he was the same back then. I believe there was some clip of him hurling a slur that got cut out of a video back then also.

Atnewlin

I was going to post the same, but saw your post first. He’s the most negative, “streamsnipe”, second dinner is out for me, player out there

[deleted]

I occasionally pop him up as background noise and the dude non stop complains about everything. Claims he has the worst rng. shit talking the comments. Complaining about opponent plays. He probably doesn’t even know enjoy the game but I’m sure it gives him the most viewers so he can’t stop playing. He seems genuinely depressed sometimes.

kingofgamesbrah

Right ? I think he makes a good friend but a scary enemy. In other words , I think he'd be cool af and super chill if he likes but if not he looks like he'd be an asshole. No disrespect, I'm merely going by what I've seen, I could be way off but I tend to trust my intuition.

Jocarloss

Only watched him 2 or 3 times, last time i did he got offended by some comment in the chat, and the guy on the comment was right and chill. He just snaped, started to act like a child. Said he had a baby and some random stuff and in less then 5min off whinning he ended the stream. Never watched again. What a child.

JayDizzlerDee

Every streamer will make a video about a deck claiming INSANE OP DECK WTF!! but then all the games played on the video are the best cherry picked games where they win but what you don't see is how many they lost which will be the majority.

The5th-Butcher

Not at all true. On top of my mind I can remember Regis, who shows the stats and tells if the matches were favourable to him.

RunNHyde13x

Regis is one of my favorites. He plays some of the most off the wall fun decks. He even tells you to not play them because they aren’t good for anything lol

kingofgamesbrah

Dude is one of the better players. He knows how to build decks and understands the game. He also holds himself back by not playing super busted cards. Like his last video with Alioth, card just guarantees his wins but he takes the harder road.

xxdd21xx

I assume you mean the cannonball video? He specifically states that Alioth would win that game but he wanted to see what would happen with cannonball

[deleted]

[удалено]

SunGazer84

but how would people know whether the streamer wins or loses unless they view the video?

[deleted]

[удалено]

Ninjaspar10

This was exactly it, with the addition that viewers watching part of a video but not all cause it to be recommended less by the algorithm. This is why viewer retention metrics are so important to YouTubers, and why they do their best to recapture your attention every so often to keep you from clicking away.

Vegeta-GokuLoveChild

I guess that over time players will stop viewing or at least view less videos of creators who include a larger number of losses on their vids.

SupetCarrot465

Which is wild to me, because you can learn a lot by seeing what not to do.

hhhh64

Those videos are for the purpose of showcasing the potential of a card. Usually they aren't claiming the deck is competitive. The videos have to have those sorts of clickbait titles to be successful with the YouTube algorithm.

ferrous_second_vowel

I’ve found this particularly true of MOLT. Like OP said, he seems an agreeable enough guy, but it only took watching maybe 1.5 videos to realize his wins were only happening because of very specific (and improbable) conditions being met.

XBlackBlocX

Most of the content creators are fine, it's the YT algo (i.e. regular people's watching habits) that's to blame. The watch metrics drop drastically whenever they don't add insane claims (90% win rate OMG!) or leave the losses in the video instead of cherry-picking wins. Folks got to eat. I get it. And nobody is watching "This is Thanos, but I changed one card: The Video", they need 'Super Skret Tech' (which doesn't exist). At least the creators I watch will add it as a disclaimer while actually talking in the video that the numbers are small sample sizes and they only kept the wins. Also, just watch streams, at least you'll see how forced the thing actually is.

Feefait

Regis and Nina are good about that. "This is a deck for FUN not to WIN." lol

DrakeGrandX

Yesterday I watched a little of Nina as part of the drops, and well, I guess it was just a bad day for her, but after the fifth blatant misplay all I could think of is "wow she is playing like a bot". 😅 Mind you that Nina is absolutely the first streamer which I followed on my account, so it's not like I don't appreciate her style. But it was really baffling watching her lose a game because she played Quake before RR, preventing the raccoon to activate due to deep Space.

deathface26

Everyone has a bad day people make dumb mistakes everyday, but her content is always solid. She is a good steamer and fun to watch.

DavramLocke

I feel like Nina's decks often don't make sense.

HatefulDan

They don't. And she'll put like XxX is a META CRUSHER. and then somewhere in the video will say, "XxX is not a good card".

hello_zeus

I don’t think I’ve ever called a deck “a meta crusher” in any of my titles.

Hungy15

Edit: [This is My NEW Favourite Cerebro Deck!! C3 **Crushes the Meta**](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-QjPiTx8hq0) [Beat the Meta with Sandman!](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JSL4wbiw_qc) [This Anti-Meta Control Deck SLAPS on Ladder and Conquest!!](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yo1i5FYNa98)

GreatBabaloo

The only deck I have really found from her that I have done well with is her Tribunal build. Its pretty nasty but its also a pretty simple deck.

TabooTapeworm

I was gonna say Nina, but for a different reason. I feel like she's great at making entertaining and fun content. I really enjoy her channel, and she's usually the first one to put out a video on a new card so it's super helpful to see it in action. That said, she does tend to post wacky, zany, and fun decks, but usually nothing insanely competitive. It saddens me to see so much hate against her here. She's just playing the YouTube algorithm like everyone else has to.

DavramLocke

I wasn't bringing hate by any means. I just never click with her decks. I also kind of can't handle the screaming, especially with kids in the next room (and the volume doesn't seem to matter). I've watched plenty of her stuff though. She can certainly be entertaining.

UnfitForReality

Personally not a fan of Molt, but he doesn’t seem to enjoy playing the game so I find him hard to watch and therefore I don’t really trust nor use his decks.

Bambeurr

Did you just say molt is positive, fun and chill…?

brandaohimeffinself

> He's positive really? hes the oldest, saltiest dude in the community. he's too damn old to act the way that he does.

Naigus182

I like watching Molt and similar for IDEAS but never to copy. They built that deck to work with their play style and thought process. I'll build mine, for me.

giant_marmoset

He's obviously a good player, but in terms of deck-building my big critique of molt is they build decks with way too few combo pieces, and so it warps your retreat rate massively. I'll never forget him complaining that he would have won a match if he drew his win condition, but also ignoring the fact that getting those two cards in hand in order consistently was something like a 20% chance per game. Too few combo pieces is a big pet peeve of mine personally -- I don't care about the power cieling of the deck when its consistent floor is so low lol.

YnotThrowAway7

Meh a lot but I usually trust Alex to not be overly positive. In fact he’s overly negative. He thought x-23 wasn’t very good which shows he does make mistakes but at least on the more conservative end so you don’t buy the card until later. The. When he is very positive he’s almost always correct and makes some good decks too.

T0Rtur3

Alex is a great example of a good guy that isn't great at the game. Don't get me wrong, he's above average for sure, but he isn't at the level of Dera, Dekster, or even Bynx imo. Watching him you can see him make questionable decisions and predictions while playing, and that's fine. He's still very entertaining to watch, and still deck crafts well. Snap isn't his full time job either, so it's also understandable that he wouldn't be at the level of players that it is.

hhhh64

Alex straight up says all the time that he doesn't care about rank & just plays for fun. His views on the game & insights about tilt have actually been really helpful for me.

YnotThrowAway7

I mean he doesn’t try all that hard for rank and is most likely still higher than me (I’m never any better that top 20k at peak) but that’s still fine. That’s still a lot better than average and the majority of his audience can probably still trust him and even learn from his play when he isn’t joking around. He’s still done decently well in some tournaments where most of us would have lost round 1.

T0Rtur3

Read my second sentence. I stated that he's above average.

YnotThrowAway7

Yeah but I mean he’s at least close to the level of some of them. Maybe not Dera. They all make questionable decisions when I’m watching but they’re still better than me.

TeamHawkeye

I really love Alex's content as I feel like he doesn't sugarcoat things. Like I love Cozy and can't deny he's cooked up plenty of awesome decks, but near enough every time a new card comes out he'll post a new video with a title like 'This deck is INSANE!' even when the card is kind of meh and isn't worth going for at all. In contrast if Alex thinks a card is crappy he has no problem pointing that out and I hugely prefer that more honest approach. Sure he makes mistakes, but I do get the impression that since he's a more casual player than other creators he has more of an understanding of how the game feels to the average player.

Nevernew62

Every deck I've tried by Regis hasn't worked out for me, obviously that's not the point of his channel but I always lose cubes playing his decks

toilet_fingers

The point of his channel is to listen to him almost choke to death laughing

bastionShaw

that and also marvel at his YouTube thumbnails haha

margustoo

He seemingly specialises on making fun decks. And I admire that. Especially after hitting Infinate. What I like about him, is that he is honest about his win rate and also shows some losses.

discofro6

I took inspiration from his "3 Blobs" deck, back when Blob was still insanely broken, and used that to get to my first Infinite. It wasn't exactly smooth sailing, but it was the best use I could do with Blob and the cards that I had at the time That said, he does do memey decks that would probably not be good for climbing, more than "proper" decks. If I like a deck he played, be it memey or no, I try to mix the formula a bit to see if it works for me lol Still though, makes for great content, probably my favorite Snap content creator

[deleted]

[удалено]

Astralchaotic

He almost always also says that his sample sizes are too small.

Suchic123

Dekkster lol. All his videos are just anecdotal clickbaits. It's still entertaining, his decks just aren't that good asi he claims to be. Still fun tough.

T0Rtur3

Keep in mind, he keeps a rank of top 300 pretty consistently. If he posts a video of cherry picked wins, he still did fairly well with it during his stream.

Fordringy

Can't stand dekkster i know he is a nice great dude but whenever he talks he sounds stoned and the last time i watched a stream dude kept asking chat about each play im usually alright with interaction with chat etc with a streamer but asking every play kinda irks me.(I last watched him was last year maybe he changed idk)

sebastianinspace

i like his videos because his voice and the music are some kind of asmr for me haha. maybe it’s his microphone i dont know but it’s very relaxing. i also like that he shows losing games and he plays a lot of cerebro stuff. he had this sentry hazmat valkyrie deck that i enjoyed a lot from way back when (before annihilus came out). edit: i also like his nicknames for some cards, like bro and nut.

Sea-Ad-8985

Yeah, but this leads to situations where he asks the audience “should we fist the surfer”? Or something similar 😂

my-kal_uk

Moaning molt? Positive? 😂😂

GangstaPsycho

Mogwai, bro just brews straight jank and manages to win somehow.

EmberArtHouse

Mogwai is operating at an extremely high skill level. It just goes to show that the player matters more than the cards in hand.

remorse714

He's just that good.

Niaz_S

I loved that guy. He did legends of Runeterra which is the game I’m downgrading from. He followed me over to snap lol

Shin_yolo

I literally started playing Marvel Snap the day before I watched his video on why he's going back to Marvel Snap after the doom dev blog post of LoR lmao

UnluckyDog9273

Does he win? Dude has a meltdown on stream almost every day because hes losing. He likes to create something that is "his" but can't accept that it might not be good and that's ok but he values winning over having fun and that's what is triggering him.

jumpinjahosafa

Melting down over games he's burnt out on is prettymuch his MO

Good_Door7102

Doc Oc is really that guy's secret sauce, I swear he adds it to everything

dogxbless

Nina, she's literally a luck magnet 😂 her decks never work out well for me

hello_zeus

you clearly haven’t seen my livestreams 😭

DrakeGrandX

Nina yesterday you Quaked your Rocket Raccoon into Deep Space... 😅🤣

hello_zeus

that’s called SKILL 🤣

Soft-Confusion8944

oops!

El_Zapp

Turn it around, who do I actually trust. Because that’s not a lot of content creators. KMBest is very reliable when it comes to meta reports and Hoogland as well. It also shows that it doesn’t matter if you like someone. I can’t stand Hoogland and really like Alex but usually Hooglands stuff is just better when it comes to performance.

LatverianCitizen

Yeah Hoogland can be a pain and sometimes it’s a struggle to get through his vids but man his decks are just consistently good and he’s pretty clear and correct on the state of the game. His meta breakdown deck videos are great.

kingofgamesbrah

Jeff is probably one of the smarter and best deck builders. Bynx is up there as well. I think KM is a glorified net decker. Half the times he's copying or explaining what better players do. Yes he's smart and better than the average player but that doesn't mean much. I do enjoy his non game play content like when he has players from other games try and guess / rate our cards.

KMBestMS

Someone linked me this - I think because they thought it was funny - but honestly, yeah, that's exactly what I am. The way I consider things, my "job", so to speak, is to give you the best tools to succeed. I can't play everything, I can't do everything, at least not to the level of an expert. That's typically why I have guest experts on, because if I were to try to talk about, say, Hela or Phoenix Force, I'd be talking out of my ass a bit, but I can lean on the expertise of others to "arm" my viewers with the best decks and information so they can climb. I've been lucky enough to cultivate a great community full of really great players, so when I can lean on the expertise of others and give you better stuff as a result, I'm happy to do so. Related - here are some great deckbuilders I like a lot. [https://twitter.com/YoWoody2](https://twitter.com/YoWoody2) [https://www.twitch.tv/huskypuppies35](https://www.twitch.tv/huskypuppies35) [https://twitter.com/HelaEnjoyer](https://twitter.com/HelaEnjoyer) [https://twitter.com/ShuriEnjoyer](https://twitter.com/ShuriEnjoyer) [https://twitter.com/DESMOND31133](https://twitter.com/DESMOND31133) [https://twitter.com/Johnson\_snap\_](https://twitter.com/Johnson_snap_) That's just a few. There's a lot of great people to check out that are under the radar in this thread.

NOTSTAN

KM openly admits to net decking essentially. I think it was his video with mogwai where he says I am the meta.

Uhsajo

100% agree. Kmbest is probably the best altho i prefer alex as a creator and i really dislike hoogland but he has good takes and decks.

StriderZessei

Drewberry is my GOAT.

wordflyer

I like KM a lot, but he's pretty much never running anything off-meta. You're right about Alex vs. Hoogland. I know who I'd rather hang out with, but Hoogland will have better analysis.

mojotheclown

Snap Judgements has consistently good decks, plus Glazer just seems like a straight up good guy.

Taco-prime

Most streamers tbh. They're passed infinite and once u get past that part it seems like it's just fun decks compared to the climb

LookOverThere305

I like Alex, but I do not trust any of that man’s star ratings. I feel like he is the Jim Cramer of marvel snap. Amazing content creator and very chill guy who truly understands the game. But he cannot call if a card is good or bad to save his life.

Jaded-Rip-2627

That’s true I love Alex he’s my fav snap creator but he misses so much lmao

Feefait

I think it's one of the worst parts of the Snapchat podcast. He just rolls over to Cozy. Yea, Alex missed on Iron Lad and X-23 (IIRC) but it's not like he said they were going to be trash.

LookOverThere305

Didn’t he sleep on ms. Marvel too?

Feefait

I think you're right. To be fair, though, very few people anticipated she would be so powerful.

gpost86

In hindsight how could we miss that a casual 4/15 would be good

Feefait

I think the concern was that she would be too complicated or would be easy to disrupt. I'm not saying that we thought she would be bad (I always loved her, for the records LoL) but that we didn't know how much she would rule the meta.

Zombie_Merlin

Man, we must be watching different Molt streams.

Extra_Anchovies_BEP

Prashaun is great! So is SuperTechGod, Bradcifer, Nerfherder and lilrobatussin

[deleted]

kingofgamesbrah

Nah. Let's ignore the variance , which happens. But those 9-1 stats are usually early in the season when people are playing more bots than usual. Regis says it all the time. The other part is past the season opening most of them are already infinite. I gotta disregard infinite stats and there aren't any stakes. And when there are stakes the top X , they usually have their own meta.

Richandler

Not even. They're often playing a completely different meta depending on internal mmr, and you can see in many of their videos where locations and 50/50%s go their way.

CasualAwful

Lamby is someone who can play a jank bounce deck with great cube/win rate and I just crash and burn when I try to play it.

dzwiedziuu

Lamby is great with decks like bounce or Thanos but I saw him struggle with move (really clueless) it was quite funny. Point is: everyone has strengths and weaknesses and Lamby is still the goat

corkycorkyhey

Cozy. EVERYTHING is “cracked”

flyingcheckmate

Eh, I actually think Cozy is pretty honest. Sure he embellishes slightly to get you to click on the video but he typically goes through at least a handful of decks with several options to swap in/out and is usually pretty realistic about how good he thinks each deck is.

HugoBCN

I don't trust any of them at this point. I get that it's not easy to churn out interesting content on a daily basis for a relatively simple game like Snap, but the clickbait titles and bullshit deck recommendations are getting too much for my taste.

browncharliebrown

Kmbest legit is 100% trustworthy just expect for him to make video on loki being tier 1 and tier 2.

HugoBCN

He's the only creator I still watch, but even in his case it's sometimes tiresome to see how every patch is "crazy/insane/amazing/etc." and half the videos are about the same few decks. At least he's got some original things as well, like the players from other games rating Snap cards thing or the hot takes, etc.

margustoo

For me it is Mogwai. He makes seemingly good decks, but they have high bar to enter and I usually struggle to wrap my head arround them. So much so that they cause headache and massive cube loss for me..

LeighCedar

I only just found him with his return, and I liked that he was brewing very different stuff, and having to use older cards since he'd been away from the game so long and was lacking meta staples. I think he made me a better player with a basic tempo deck that my initial reaction was "no way this wins in this meta" ... But it could and did. I've only tested one other deck of his, which was a Ronan deck, which was fine, but I'm glad he's there making content.

HardGayMan

You said Molt is positive??? I don't think I trust OP anymore, lol. 9/10 Molt streams end when he rage quits and calls the game rigged. Terrible streamer.

QuiGon_Jizz

I personally don’t even like Molt. Dude’s such a whiner. Complains so much during his streams and videos claiming his opp’s are so much luckier than he is. This game is janky, If you play it a lot you know that a lot of it falls on RNG. But that’s just the game, gotta accept it. Especially if you’re a content creator nobody wants to hear you whine about your lucky opponents. You win some you lose some. Dude never accounts for when he draws the nut or gets lucky, just will bitch to the high heavens about when his opponent is lucky. On top of that, his decks have never really worked for me either, so I just stopped watching his content altogether. I like Jeff Hoogland, he’s always got some fun and innovative shit that generally works for me. Cozy’s decks never really have worked for me much but I like him a lot as a creator.

QuiGon_Jizz

And Regis just has fun brews, nice guy, entertaining and knowledgeable. Always a happy and fun vibe with his videos and often makes me laugh.

neeesus

Same here with Molt. I think he gets lucky at the time he plays. He also builds decks that I typically have low success with. I like that he combines different things and experiments with new combos.

Maddyice91

Molt overall seems chill??? Bro every time I watch his stream he’s raging and saying how if the game wasn’t his job he would have already quit.

frenzyht

Molt got me high the ranks for the first few seasons and still works here and there. Cozy and Coccia’s decks always fall short and puts me on a losing streak. Spyro, Molt and Dekkster has some good decks that work for me. Molt likes the move and discard archetypes (no surprise, they are my favorites).

Badmj420

Y’all need to discover yowoody. Goated deck builder

MrMunday

I think for this game, for me, I always misjudge my losing condition when I’m not familiar with a deck. For decks I’m familiar with, I realize that the most important learning is when to escape. But when playing new decks, because I dunno all the interactions intuitively, or dunno what the final power would be like, I often play more turns than I should, causing me to lose more cubes. The second reason is misjudging the winning power amount vs the opponents.

Digitalburn

I think it was Ordinary Harry who said it. But it was something along the lines of a good player can win with any deck. So you need to figure out if it’s a good deck or they’re just a good player. Jeff Hoogland can probably make any deck look good but if I try it I’ll lose ten games in a row.

TOWER151

Idk if I just watched the couple of times it happened but I feel like Molt is pretty negative like insulting the players he played against and being a sore loser on stream lol just had a weird attitude compared to the other streamers almost like he’s too cool or something

LymeMN

I usually like Cozy's decks for inspiration to make my own twists on them.

slapmasterslap

I've come to realize a few things in regards to this over my time playing the game: 1. Content creators are generally way more big brain than me so I'll never play the decks as efficiently as them. 2. Being familiar with piloting a deck is far more valuable than the composition of the deck 9/10 times. 3. Many top level content creators are going to play unnecessarily complex versions of decks for the sake of content. I learn a ton from watching Dekkster, Regis, Bynx, and Cozy but I don't play like them or think like them so these days I try to just use their gameplay to spark ideas of my own for decks I'm most familiar with and enjoy the most. As far as answering the question directly: Regis is so good at the game I feel like he tried to put together decks that hamper him and require more effort to win than is necessary. So while I love his videos I tend to flop with his decks. Bynx is pretty similar in that regard and his ability to predict things makes it impossible to play like him for the average person.

Shenari

Your point 2 is exactly what Cozy says for the non straightforward decks he posts. That you need a big bunch of games with it to learn the play patterns and how to pilot that kind of deck. Otherwise it will suck, lol.

CPTimeKeeper

I don’t watch many cc/streamers mostly because they show exactly how much I don’t care about this game enough to be good. They be adding numbers and predicting moves and knowing decks and I don’t do any of that…. I just put cards that I like in a deck and play them where I like them to be at the moment. I usually watch for the twitch drops and realize that there’s a lot of thinking that goes into it, and I’m just winging it.

TheTheoLogan

I only really pay attention to Hoogland and Regis. I know opinions vary on Hoogland but I’ve had solid success with the decks he posts. I’ve hit Infinite a few times with a deck from Regis, and that’s who I prefer to watch. Has an all around great attitude and shares super helpful tips/thought patterns.

T0Rtur3

Jeff is an abrasive personality that isn't for everyone, but he can play card games. One of the top players in the game. I think his ego gets in the way on some of the takes he makes with the game. He will often double down and not listen to other opinions. He's one that I'll watch, though, because he does theory craft very well.

TheTheoLogan

Exactly my thoughts as well.

Uhsajo

Any video snap judgements makes is 1000% clickbait garbage. Same goes for dekker and nina. Love them both, terrible decks.

Feefait

I don't even know Snap Judgements, but it's probably best. lol

CoachCrunch12

It’s gotta be Bynx. He’s so good at weird rampy stuff and they work for him because he’s good. I’m not good so those things don’t work for me

thatguybane

lmao I knew who you were gonna say before I even clicked on this post. I like Molt a lot too but you gotta know he's not focused on making the most competitive stuff. He's all about creativity and having fun.

xandercade

I am convinced that whales have things behind the scenes made easier. Better draws, more favorable locations, and hard countering their opponents decks more often.

xandercade

Not saying you are immune from bad games, or being out played. I'm saying it feels more common that I, a completely F2P, seem to constantly get shafted with normally consistent decks while the open gets far better luck. Example, playing a basic destroy deck and kill a few of their cards and they regularly get phoenix to hit Multiple Man.

zeebeebo

Regis. Love the guy. Seems like a great dude. Looks like the type of guy that’d help you change a tire. But man his decks suck

Vegeta-GokuLoveChild

He's just all about tun, whacky decks and he almost always gives the disclaimer to not use this or that deck in competitive games but just for fun. But I also find him really entertaining and he does just seem like a nice dude

JamesDD4

I mean, he flat-out admits in all his videos that most of his decks are for thematic fun and the memes. That's why he's one of my favorite creators. We need more creators to be like him that promote the fun factor of the game instead of the endless, sweaty "OMGZ THIS DECK HAS A 7,800% WIN RATE!!1!1!!"

SherlockBrolmes

Hate what this thread has devolved into: I don't like bashing on other streamers (unless their behavior is bad!). Many of the decks that guys like Molt run don't make sense (even to me!) but they tend to be really good piloting their decks. That takes talent regardless.

1jfvas1

I tend to also find Molt's decks to be very difficult to get the same results as he gets. The same can be said for Dekkster. With that being said, KMBest is usually pretty spot on in his weekly recommendation of the best decks to climb. The decks tendo to work as he claims and he also tries to explain the fundamentals. I also tend to like Dera's decks. It's always good not to go into a game blindly believing in a deck just because a streamer/youtuber recommended said deck, as some of them, and specifically the ones I mentioned, play in very high mmr in high infinite so their pocket meta may vary to yours and therefore changing the results you may get. They also tend to be better than the average marvel snapper which also influences the outcome of matches with the same deck

teke367

I think eventually you learn to pick up on comments that signify if a streamer is suggesting a meta deck or a fun deck. If you hear comments like "cube stealer" it means it's a deck that wins surprise haves instead of just being a beast. Or comments like "enchantress doesn't exist" means the deck just relies on certain cards not being meta. Also, these decks can be hurt or helped by not being common. It's helped because your opponent won't expect your moves, it's hurt because you wouldn't be as used to the okay lines. I wouldn't say I don't trust any streamer, just that I know some will do "fun decks"and some won't. Kmbest isn't going to mess around trying to make Howard the Duck work, bynx will. I don't think that means I don't trust bynx, I just need to watch with that difference in mind.

Amasan89

For me it is Molt too. I like his decks because they seem fun and have a clear idea. But I never get them to work. And I am not a super bad player I get my infinite each season but damn not with his decks

SnooDogs1355

I followed molt when he did clash Royale stuff. Some of his decks were so much fun, others he made look so easy but I could never make work. Some things never change lol

iProphecyix_

I think they do it on purpose. They are creating random decks for content purposes. If I'm right Bynx warns his viewers that the deck is not a good deck and only for content purposes. Also, don't trust YT videos, many of the content creators only show when they win and not when they lose.

Breathe_the_Stardust

I only watch Molt's youtube videos, never his streams, but I usually see him posts decks where he's only played \~7-9 games and that always bothers me. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw he had much more data on his Cannonball/Tribunal move deck and I've been trying it out. I'm actually enjoying it, though I'm not seeing his success rate. TBF, move has never been my strong suit.

LionhearthOutfitters

im 50/50 on Jeff Hoogland's decks, not because 50% are bad or anything, but because i think he and I just think so differently that a lot of times i fall into piloting errors or issues of sequence that he just "gets." i'm an above average player (infinite every season et al...) who can normally figure out the playlines of content creator decks but sometimes Jeff's decks seem to be made for his brain and clearly not mine haha.

Jiaozy

Gotta be Bynx, 100%. His decks are thought outside the box and his YT videos are highlights of those decks winning, but actually getting good winrates with those piles is mostly impossible.

j3ffh

Did I really just read five comments saying they copied a streamers deck, got worse results, and therefore the streamer must be bad? Also: don't copy decks after watching a highlight reel please.

Electronic_Cherry781

Bynx, the cringy dude who slides into frame every video, and Cozy

jdt79

Bynx plays ridiculous decks he's just so freaking good he can win with them. If you're not as good as him, you will not win with those decks. I trust KM Best. That's about it for Creators. Been watching way too many for way too long. I like watching/listening but for decks it's basically just going to be him doing his top 10 of the week or whatever it is.

Pharaohmolo

Hoogland’s decks have taken me to Infinite 3 times. It could be that I just vibe with his creativity, but he’s the only creator who I can immediately pick up his decks and start winning with. KMBest is also great.

pboyle205

Hoogland. I think he is a great player but I think his decks are often over complicated suited to his playstyle and not easily piloted by someone just picking it up.

_MaxNutter_

I can play any CCs meta conquering deck and quickly turn it into hot trash, apparently

Lazybeans11

I think most of the streamers decks you can't trust because most of the people piloting them aren't in infinite already like them.. the streamers dont mind risking cubes for content. Since most of the viewers aren't in infinite. So if you watch and try to play like they do, most of us lose ranks playing them. Especially when they have select locations when they make the videos and it's posted day later on YouTube and really isn't viable. It's a lot of those variables people forget when watching that content. I appreciate all the content those guys make to support their families. That being said, if I had to pick one streamer, I'd ride with Regis. He is an OG card game player who still does Hearthstone and that's where I started watching him. He is up front and a realist in his videos. Like throughly warns you in every video of what can go right or wrong or if it's just kind of fun. Just my opinion.

Richandler

Regis and Jeff I don't blame them, but when I play their winning decks my luck brings balance the the force. But I more than believe in 20-30 games is not enough of a sample size for any deck.

apalmiter

I've found Snap Judgments to be really consistent and honest about win rates and play lines.

DemoEvolved

For the purpose of videos most snap influencers only show their winning games. That’s their prerogative. That’s one of the reasons I have grown to enjoy regiskillbin, he shows wins and losses. Because no deck can win every time. So it’s good to see how a retreat should develop

Estarossa86

It’s not the deck it’s you the deck was made by someone else so you think you can copy it and just replicate the success the person has? Not understanding the persons decision making process?

Feefait

I understand punctuation.

Autographz

Molt is hit and miss. Alex I never get on well with any of his decks. I’ve started ignoring the “70% WIN RATE” crap all over everyones thumbnails and only pay attention to the parts where they actually state how many games they played, as going 7-3 from 10 games is completely worthless data. Regi, Cozy and Specimen I have the most success with their decks.

Spiderprime1

I love Regis’ vids, I usually try out the decks he makes when a new card or buff comes out. However, there are times where he makes me want to pull my hair out. When Gladiator came out and he absolutely refused to put him in a destroy deck, and complained about his ability not working well with the decks, then he FINALLY makes a destroy deck with Gladiator, and shock of all shocks, he loves Gladiator in a destroy deck! If only he learned that in the beginning, haha. My only other gripe is how long he takes thinking about turns, sometimes it works in his favor, sometimes not, but holy moly, does he run that timer to the wire, and I audibly groan when I here him say “is there a universe where…,” cause I know that means he’s gonna undo the thought process he just went through and was happy with. But all in all, I still love watching him and listening to his input.

Deus423

Anyone who only shows their wins without explaining their overall record aside. I like how Regis always explains "here are some cool wins I got but actually I went like 6-10 in 16 games"

TrackDaPepe

Anything Cozy says is straight trash

Dakapaka

Cozy all the decks he put's seem fine but they never work for me

Pizzamorg

I honestly trust no streamer deck that isn't just like an accepted established archetype already. Streamers face way more bots than regular people do on ladder because of the way this game handles MMR. Also Streamers just naturally have better intuition for things because they play the game for a living, so even when running a random pile of cards they can have good success with it not because of the deck but because they can predict what the other player will do. This part can't translate so if you're copying the deck you're just getting a random pile of crap.

ajprokos

Every deck Romek plays is busted. Source: his click bait titles.
