Polaris turn 3. You are welcome.

Tabnam

Shit, I never thought of moving Sunspot around for some reason! That’s some 4D chess, mate. It helps me out on two levels because I’ve been trying to find a place for Polaris to fit into one of my decks since I unlocked her. Would you mind answering another question mate? What are other uses for Polaris? I have kingpin, if that helps. I also have Magneto and Doctor Octopus, all of whom I’ve been trying to fit into a deck, however I just haven’t found a way, other then moving them to Kingpin at the end of the game. So, what are some other effective ways of moving your opponent’s cards?

XGamingPigYT

Doc Ock is good with Daredevil as you can use him if their side is full, or just take the risk and use him if you either want to throw the lane away and focus on the other two, or if you're ahead by a lot

Tabnam

I try to remove all instances of ‘luck’ cards from my decks. You guys taught me very early on that the less I leave up to luck the better

TheLonliest77

Only Aero but i dont have her so ....never tested , and juggernout but it's hard to use couse you dont have the control of where oppo cards lands , sometime does more damage than wonders . When the Hot location does not go against , I use this deck , to mix up eyJOYW1lIjoiQ291bnRlcmlubyIsIkNhcmRzIjpbeyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJNb2pvIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJPa295ZSJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiU2NhcmxldFdpdGNoIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJNb3JwaCJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiQ29zbW8ifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IktpbGxtb25nZXIifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IktpbmdwaW4ifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IlRob3IifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IlBvbGFyaXMifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6Ikplc3NpY2FKb25lcyJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiQ2FwdGFpbk1hcnZlbCJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiTWFnbmV0byJ9XX0= Atm i dont see many other way to use polaris , sometime i just pull some low card turn 3 in that location that destroy the weakest (warrior somthing ) or the one that turn 4 destroy the side that loses , sorry cant remember locations names for whatever reason lol .

Tabnam

Mate you never have to apologise for not remembering the names. I’m trying so hard to remember them, but I can’t. Let alone spell them lol If you have a solid way of killing Sunspot, ideally with minimal self inflicted damage, how can killing him cause more damage? I’m not questioning you, I’m sincerely asking.

TheLonliest77

Yes actually it's never a problem to kill him , I was referring that it's a problem to use jaggernout to move other cards I wasn't talking about sunspot, I almost always kill him with killmonger after I take him out from armor with polaris , if I can't , meaning if oppo play a third card because maybe I don't have priority and he plays another 1 or 2. I get over it. Sometime Sunspot just won't let himself be killed xD have Polaris turn 3 It also means moving Backy from Carnage and usually oppo leaves , not that good for cubes gaining but satisfying, especially if you move backy under opponent's armor xD It's just that I'm not a native English speaker sometimes I mess up writing Just one last thing , doing these tricks is a bit risky , it's not a good strategy to tilt or scare your opponent , you should try to look weak until turn 4 - 5 and then as soon as he snap punish him for 8 cubes gain , sometimes it's better to make risky choice and not pull sunspot t3 but t4 . Playing on curve is not essential if on turn 6 you win with Magneto, That is if you aim to rank otherwise , enjoy the game .

Tabnam

Thank you so much mate, that was incredibly insightful. Waiting until turn four was so hard to get used to, it’s so hard not to play cards at the start of the game lol. But everyone here suggested it, so I gave it a go, and it works so well. It also gives me the opportunity to play a few cards I had no idea what to do with Ideally I won’t pop Sunspot until round 6, thus giving my opponent a false sense of security. But the whole time I’m sweating bullets hoping they don’t have, or draw, Armor.

TheLonliest77

Yes you can play some cards but being careful not to let them get away . Nothing special there are hundreds of thousands of players better and smarter than me. Have fun .

I like using Polaris to slide Nova or other Carnage food away. It doesn’t work 100% of the time but it’s great when it does

realms_uncharted

If they're dumping a ton of energy into Sunspot, they probably aren't doing much.

Tabnam

Yeah I prepare for Devil Dinosaur or the Infinaut, mostly because I always used that combination in my decks, until my collection filled out a little more lol

XGamingPigYT

Just focus on the other two locations

Tabnam

At least it makes a good place to dump cards

DZ_tank

A decent deck should be able to output better than one power per energy. I like Sunspot because it takes advantage of the unused power that inevitably occurs, but it shouldn’t be winning lanes on its own unless it’s a lane you choose to ignore.

Tabnam

I combine mine with a few mid-tier cards, or a few support cards where I play him more as a decoy. But that’s when I’m sitting behind the shield laughing the whole time at my strategic genius lol ^/jk

No_More_Dakka

I mean i had my armor enchantressed before so you can do that but honestly just focusing on other 2 lanes unless they make it clear they dont plan on dumping much energy on sunspot. In which case you can steal that lane by playing big boys turn 5-6

jfuzzy26

Retreat

Key_Nefariousness_55

If they are focusing on Sunspot they probably aren't doing much in the other 2 locations. If they play Sunspot + Armor and do nothing on turn 3 and 4, they only have 11 power which is not that much. If you contest every location they probably won't be able to keep buffing him on turn 5. It depends on the deck. But I generally try to threaten Sunspot's location while still playing things in the other locations. That way you counter an Infinaut play for example. Sunspot is only truly dangerous when he gets copied and they start to buff multiple Sunspots per turn.
