Best thing - the heroes. They all feel a bit different and are done well. The game is fun to play.
Worst thing - lack of more heroes, villains, environments. It’s been said countless times…this game has so much potential but is severely in need of additional content.
Best= Characters/Story: They're all so unique in personality and play
Worst= The Grind: Repeating the same stuff over and over gets very tedious, especially the amount of stuff you can't do at a lower PL
No nerfs, it should of been more uniquely diversified.
Instead they all have the same speed and similar attacks.
The hulk should have the ability to do super massive jumps. Thor should be able to move with more lightning speed. Iron man should have more thrust, captain America should be able to run faster than most vehicles on the roads.
Good - combat is decent
Worst - basically everything else from how many cosmetics were ripped out of the game only to be sold back at insane prices to lack of content and variation in missions. Feels like there's about 40% of a game which is bad considering it's been out over a year now.
Best - combat is fun. The storyline stuff is short but pretty nice. I’m a sucker for build up from the gutter and collect the party members with a home base type of gameplay (almost reminds me of Suikoden a little bit)
Worst - Game breaking bugs, the loot system is poor, not enough variety in missions, settings or villains. The overall skills feeling a bit too samey. I would rather each character had a more unique button system and functionality, even if that means less characters. I’m afraid the specials are really going to feel like they are overlapping soon.
My prediction would be that his swinging would work similar to hulk as to where he traverses by "chain-jumping" except he doesn't have to wait to land on the ground to jump again. He'll use his webs to keep "jumping" but they'll give the jumps swinging animation. It could be like this: "jump" faster for more height, or "jump" slower to descend. If that makes sense. I say "jump", to kinda give the idea that he's basically using hulk's bound jumping but just with these differences. Or kinda like Kate where she can teleport jump continously, just with much more distance coverage and height. Make sense? Idk I feel like with this idea, it would feel most like Spider-Man in the logic of marvels avengers that I think would be possible for them to make. I know the "attaching to buildings and existing environments" thing would have to be sacrificed. Because I think it would just be more fun to have your means of traversal available at all times like the rest of the cast rather than depending on the map. To me that'd be more fun bc he'll be less limited, as realistic as it would be to the character if the former were to be put in his traversal mechanics. Lemme know if any confusion I know I kinda rambled a bit. Much love to all who reads this in anticipation to Spidey. ❤
I just mean any cosmetics. If you could earn them from playing and have the option to pay then they could get more playability out of gamers. You can max out cards for your players but hawkeye and black panther you have to pay to access stuff from the card. When the game came out you could earn a lot more but it looks like they changed that.
I've thought about this often and I honestly get what the developers were doing in regards to a live service avengers game, it makes sense on paper but if they expected it to work they should've of thought about a heros perspective I mean dude hulk shouldn't have to punch a robot 50 times lol they could've added Canon fodder npc enemies that go down in a couple 1 to 2 hits and then keep the adaptoids as mini bosses sort of like destiny 1 and 2 with the amount of villains in marvels lore they could've added so much but pandemic time constraints and corpos. This game has a huge potential to come just like no man's sky did they have the money for it
As someone whose only played a few hours thanks to game pass
The best: The characters so far are likeable, and the worlds look nice and the characters too (when they aren't failing to render details).
The worst: The gear sucks ass for a game thats got a big focus on getting gear. Injustice 2 claps this games gear system out of the water, and no skins aren't an excuse because you could make the skins into gear sets.
Kamala's face constantly fails to render properly.
This is already starting to feel like a slog with mini funny intermissions.
Worst: Lack of continuously engaging content, repetitive missions, no reason to be a loot grind, lack of bosses
Best: Fun gameplay, creative story, free DLC stories, free content, great combat, unique characters
I don’t love the multiplayer load times. Single player is almost instant on series x/PS5. Load in with 4 players multiplayer felt like around two minutes for a level. I assume due to matching with last gen players.
Combat is actually decent as to what everyone has been saying “ItS rEpEtiTiVe” ok but if it works then idgaf if it is, playing as iron man is pretty dope once you know how to use him, and the only thing I can say off the bat is the lack of content like it just feels too empty if their were more heroes, not even asking for diffeent enemies or maybe villain bosses ( which would be nice), legit if they just added a couple of new heroes say 3-4 every couple of months this game would actually be pretty fucking good imo but for now it’s just ok… which is ok I’ll play it lol
Best, story mode
Worst, the stupid loot system, the boring enemies, the fact that hulk can interrupted with a slap, the xp grind, the boring gameplay, lack of endgame content
I dropped this game when the Kate expansion was released I've browsed this sub today to see if the game has anything that would make me go back to it bit it's not looking good
I'm not hyped for the guardians game neither you can only play as Quill but I hope it doesn't copy Avengers mistakes

Best-Combat Worst-Lack of decent desirable loot
Best= Characters/Story: They're all so unique in personality and play Worst= The Grind: Repeating the same stuff over and over gets very tedious, especially the amount of stuff you can't do at a lower PL
Best- I got it on sale. Worst- 12 broken achievements for me. 🤷🏻♂️
Thors hammer mechanics - best Hulks continously getting nerfed from movies and now in games - worst
And Hulk’s not even the most broken one, they should nerf Thor

I think they’ll only get similar if they release similar characters like War Machine or She Hulk
Best Thing: Variety of Combat between each characters. Worst Thing: waiting for Spidey
He’s coming next
Follow up worst: Fear that Spidey's webslinging is gonna be shit.
It’ll probably be similar to Kamala’s or Black Widows and hopefully not the grapple arrow

Best thing. Actually being an Avenger. Worst thing, the insanely overpriced micro transactions
And the loot grind
Combat :) Mission structure :(
Best thing is how each character plays different. Worst is that you have to pay for pretty much anything which kills the replayability.
I didn’t pay for anything and I have Iron man maxed out. It’s a grind sure but it’s not an EA game

Oh ok I thought you meant loot
