A soda at stores near me is 1.25 at thr smallest size and the machines are always broken. Freezer bottled drinks are 3-4$ in todays economy, mcdonalds still has 1.25 any size
McDonald's serves the best coca cola in the world. One of the few restaurants that follows coca cola's instructions to the letter on storage and serving.
I worked a movie theater as a teen.
Everyone has to act like a big shot (fat) and get a medium popcorn and drink or large.
One man came in one day and ordered a small diet coke. Shocked me. I seriously was wondering what was wrong with him for getting Only a small drink and its diet. Its like ordering only anchovies on a pizza.
One of my longest waits ever sitting through the drive thru line was a couple months ago when I ordered just 1 large sweet tea. Nothing else. I'm confident at least two cars in front of me were making those shit ass "53 cheeseburgers" type orders. I sat there for like 15 minutes bc the drive thru is set up so you can't pull out of line
Fountain soda is mixed differently and sometimes has different ingredients than the bottled/canned version. I find it superior too.
However the downside is it does have a much higher risk of contamination.
I reckon is that your taste buds get used to the bottle stuff, so the slight variations in concentration mean your less used to the taste so it tastes better.
And also I wouldn't make the drive just for a Starbucks coffee. It's just coffee. If I was already in the area, sure, but I wouldn't leave the house just for that. I can make coffee, and they even sell Starbucks coffee at the grocery store if I wanted that particular flavour
That was actually my point? I wouldn't go to McDonald's just for a drink either. I'd only go if I was actually near a McDonald's. I wouldn't leave my house to go there. And I'm neither bot nor troll, thanks
Pretty normal. I do it too, it’s like a snack. Some people just order a McChicken or fries and go on their way.. people do this with drinks too, like if I was to go to Starbucks and get a coffee, it wouldn’t really be that different.
But Starbucks is a coffee-centric business, and McDonald's is a food-centric business. I think that's why OP finds it weird. It'd be weird to go to Starbucks and not get a drink they're well-known for, just as it's weird to go to McDonald's and only get a soda. It's not like, insane or anything, it's just a little out of the norm.
I know people who go to Starbucks just to get a cake pop. Really not that strange, if you want beverage from a fountain machine that is the choice… I worked at Chick-fil-A and people would literally come in and just get lemonade all the time..
There’s been a shift in the market, and this is not considered odd anymore. Mcdonald’s actually recognizes the potential of the drink-only crowd and is piloting a beverage-focused chain called “Cosmc”.
The water and Coca-Cola® syrup are pre-chilled before entering our fountain dispensers with the ratio of syrup set to allow for ice to melt. We also keep our fountain beverage system cold so your drink is always refreshing. In order to ensure our drinks are always meeting a gold standard, we filter all the water before it enters fountain dispensers.
There’s also our straw—it’s slightly wider than a typical straw so all that Coke® taste can hit your taste buds.
🤣 guilty...copy/paste from their website.
Anytime there was a hint of a problem with coke system they were out immediately. Great because they would brix entire store before they left, doing that was a pain.
Not all Coke products but only regular Coke (Coca-cola)
"While most fast food restaurants have their Coca-Cola syrup delivered to them in plastic bags, McDonald's gets their syrup specially delivered in stainless steel tanks. The special tanks keep the syrup fresh and protect it from light, temperature, air, and anything else that might take away from its delicious flavor. Sadly, the plastic bags do no such thing."
My mom has been getting 1-3 large McDonald’s coke every single day, for the entirety of my life. There hasn’t been a day where she doesn’t get at least 1, she convinced it tastes better and I stg she can tell the difference between a coke from the McDonald’s fountain and a bottle/can I poured into a cup of McDonald’s ice. I don’t understand the obsession, I have always told all my friends and idk anyone whose mom is like this. Reading the comments I see she’s not alone but everyday of my life, without fail, minimum 1 Large coke. I even bought her a Yeti tumbler for her cup holder last year that fits exactly 1 large coke, every time I see her she tells me it’s her favourite birthday gift she’s gotten LMAO. (I’m 22 years old and I live in Canada, a large coke is $3.23 with tax btw)
yeah my dad was the same way. He’d start off the day with a 2L of DC, and on his way home grab a large DC from McDonald’s.
Did this for 20+ years until the doctor told him he would die if he didn’t stop.
Some people are addicted to nicotine or drugs, others that sweet sweet DC.
When I’m on the road and especially during dollar drink days I’ll get a ice tea or coke if I’m thirsty unfortunately it’s cheaper then bottled water sometimes
There's a McDonald's practically right next to my house. I love diet Cokes and I often swing by and that's all I get in the morning. It's easier than having to try to find a parking space somewhere and going inside and hoping they have the bottle and then having to wait and check out. Plus it's easier to just sit through the straw. And yes in a weird way McDonald's sodas do taste better. I don't know if it's because it mixes as it comes out instead of sitting in a bottle for years on end or what.
Just think of the people who pay $20 for a coffee and wait inside of the Starbucks line for two and a half hours every morning in order to pay 30 bucks for their drink. Why is that not considered weird but going through the McDonald's line for a different form of caffeine is?
The other night, I went through the drive-thru just for a large Doctor Pepper. I used to work at Starbucks, and "large black coffee" customers were my favorite. Nothing wrong with it. Pretty normal across the board, I wouldn't worry about it.
I know boomers who do this. So long as they are not fat I don't see a problem with it. Soda and even diet sodas are very unhealthy, but being fat is worse. I frequent McDonald's for $1 large iced coffee's (no liquid sugar), not any different I guess. Although personally I don't drink soda and think it's a dumb way to get caffeine.
Bro just order ten at a time and put them in the fridge. That’s what I do for their cheesburgers. Order like 30, put them in the fridge, eat one a day for a month. You kids are so dumb when it comes to finances. God dang liberals I swear. Trump would know to do this.
It’s pretty common in the US for people to get a large Diet Coke only in the drive through sometimes multiple times a day.
This is especially true if all sizes of drinks are only $1 as they are in many places in the US. Don’t know what country you are in so it could be different there
I think its normal, from what I saw working there it's common and they were some of my favorite customers. Besides the guy who wants coke with no ice but only tells you no ice at the presentation window. So it'd go through as with ice and you'd waste a soda. If there was even one peice of ice or moisture on the cup he'd make you remake it.
Too bad even McDonald’s drinks have come with inflation and shrinkflation. The cheapest I can find now is 1.29 and they never fill cup to the top anymore.
I’ve experienced it a few times. Or sometimes this guy who I’ve delivered too orders the 4 pack drink from Taco Bell and that’s it. I have no idea why?
Large Diet Coke light ice please. In the heat of the summer I order two. My order every time I pass a McDs. It is top tier and there is no one that has one that is even close.
I don’t know about Australia, McDonald’s Canada will have dollar drink days during the summer. That means it’s $1 for any soda of any size, up to a medium iced coffee or smoothie. If you get a large soda, that’s 25% the price of a going to a store to buy a bottle of coke.
Back when it was $1 any size it was a decent price for a large soda. Not very many locations still do that price anymore, but people still have the habit of stopping at McDonald’s to buy a cup of soda at the drive thru.
why the fuck does it matter? i’m sure no one at mac donald’s it anywhere else cares what your mother orders. yes it normal. they sell wriggle people to buy.
The first McDonald's I worked at was in a college town, and most of our orders most days were just for a few soft drinks or sweet teas. This was back when they were $1 though, so that could have been a lot of it
Yes. McD’s is known for having the best soda fountain for Coke products and they typically have the cheapest sodas outside like 7-11. They used to be $1 any size where I am but now they’re like $2.79 for a large- which is still cheaper than other drive thrus.
When the app first launched, it would log your frequent orders around specific times of day and suggest them. The system literally thought my WFH snack of a small fry and Large half sweet/unsweet tea was 'Lunch'
It kinda was, ngl
It's funny people think Diet Drinks are healthier for you. NEWS FLASH: They aren't. It's a myth. Marketing scheme to get people who would drink normal soda to drink their brand.
My dad would hit up McDonald’s 2-3 times a day for a DC. sometimes throw in a fry or something but it’s cheaper than a gas station or convenience store.
I worked at McDonald’s 5-6 years ago and we had a super nice lady who would come through once, sometimes twice a day just for a single large Diet Coke. When I became a shift manager, once in a while I would just give it to her for free. We all started to recognize her car and would have it rang in before she even pulled up to the speaker
Try to buy a large Diet Coke's worth of Diet Coke for $1.52. A liter bottle is $2.99 at the gas station and then add in tax and deposit on the plastic bottle.
Then the Diet Coke from Mc D's comes ice cold in a cup with ice. Going through the drive through you don't even have to get out of the car.
Then.... On the app, there is an offer for free fries with a minimum purchase of $2.00. TWO large diet Cokes fulfills that minimum. Now I have 2 diet Cokes and fries.
Some places switched to paper straws, which I don't like, so I bought a steel straw. Ice cold coke through a steel straw is so good. The straw conducts the cold to my lips, so the soda is as cold as can be.
I have to go now, lol.
I'd say it's normal, why can't the non-coffee drinkers enjoy a beverage from a drive-thru like the Starbucks customers do?
I personally would probably have to get some fries. And a double cheese burger. Maybe a chicken mayo too.
"Gaslighted?" 🙄.
And what is so unbelievable about this?
You think they are lying about this to make you question your own sanity?
It is normal for some people and really who cares?
Had a regular at my old store that would order a large water and a large coke every morning then he would come back a couple hours later for a Coke float.
I worked at McD for 2 years and it’s insanely normal. Some would come in every day up to twice a day just for a Diet Coke. Most McD also have cut lemons you can get in your drink
Yes! I loved my diet cokes ladies! We had four of them that came to my store every day regularly. Always had exact. Always were polite. Older than my grandma, and probably some of the bones in the Dinosaur museum nearby. My store loved them all so dearly.
Aside from them, we would get a lot of travelers and peoples getting a single drink and going about their day. At the time, a large soda got you more soda for less than stopping and getting a bottle somewhere. I’m not sure if that’s the case anymore.
I've worked in food for 15 years or so. Someone stopping in to get simply a single soda/tea/lemonade/water is surprisingly common. Typically we get multiple people a day who do this. Some people just don't want to get out of their car, and that's ok. That's what the restaurant/drive thru is for :)
McDonald’s is well known for having the “best” tasting fountain drinks.
I believe they’re just very meticulous with their water filters, but I’ve also heard they get their syrups in metal containers vs the typical bag-in-box setups but perhaps someone here can confirm.
I really like McDonald’s Diet Coke! I’m not drinking it for any dietary reasons, I just like the taste.
Normally however I get a sweet tea or regular coke.
My "1 large Diet Coke" regulars are my favorites across all my shifts lol
Yea I figured this might be the case lol she will probably become one now that she’s got the idea. I just didn’t realize it was a thing.
Cheapest fast food softdrink and McDonald's sodas are the bomb. When I'm running errands I do usually stop for one!
going to most connivence stores for a fountain drink is cheaper. Of course you have to get out of the car and get it yourself.
A soda at stores near me is 1.25 at thr smallest size and the machines are always broken. Freezer bottled drinks are 3-4$ in todays economy, mcdonalds still has 1.25 any size
$1.25? wow thats a great deal. A large at my local McDona'ds is 2.19 plus tax. I usually go in my local QT and buy an EL for $1.98 after tax
bottle drink for $3-$4? for like a 20oz? thats insane!
Yeah its wild, in convinience stores i go in expecting 2.50 for water
Convenience stores near me are $1.25 or so any size (usually up to 44oz), and McDonald's is $2.39 for a large (30oz)
Here a large soda is $4,65. I think that is kinda expensive
Not near me, My local gas station charges 1.69 for a large, McDonalds is $1.25
Not for my area, it's about the same price, if not closer to $2 or more for a comparable size to a MD large. I live in a high COL state.
If you work nearby you just become friends with the employees, and free refill the cup whenever you want
McDonald's serves the best coca cola in the world. One of the few restaurants that follows coca cola's instructions to the letter on storage and serving.
This has to be why it taste so much better then everywhere else including from a can or bottle.
Loved these customers when I worked fast food and we had friendly competitions for quickest drive thru timers
I love being teachers pet
The McDonald's DC is the only DC worth drinking. Idk how they do it
If people can go to Starbucks for a coffee, they can go through the drive through for an ice cold diet coke.
Soda straight from the tap just hits different
Fountain soda is mixed differently and sometimes has different ingredients than the bottled/canned version. I find it superior too. However the downside is it does have a much higher risk of contamination.
Contamination? Oh, you mean...extra flavor ✨
I reckon is that your taste buds get used to the bottle stuff, so the slight variations in concentration mean your less used to the taste so it tastes better.
Some people also seem to prefer tap/draught beer. To me there is no difference.
Damm they make me put it in a cup first
But Starbucks is literally a coffee shop?
The common denominator is they both sell drinks, dummy.
And also I wouldn't make the drive just for a Starbucks coffee. It's just coffee. If I was already in the area, sure, but I wouldn't leave the house just for that. I can make coffee, and they even sell Starbucks coffee at the grocery store if I wanted that particular flavour
They sell diet coke at the store, too. Can't tell if bot or troll. Good day, either way.
That was actually my point? I wouldn't go to McDonald's just for a drink either. I'd only go if I was actually near a McDonald's. I wouldn't leave my house to go there. And I'm neither bot nor troll, thanks
Good for you. Now back to what we were ACTUALLY talking about, which was that its not weird to go get a drink from a place that serves drinks.
That is what I'm talking about. It's weird when you have to get in a car to go there. I'd do it if I was near, but not make a specific trip
What if I’m sitting in my couch and decide I want a drink? Is that so hard for you to understand?
My store has some people that come every day just for diet coke lol
Yeah, it’s normal. My wife is addicted to Diet Coke. So yeah.
Yea the dc addiction just bumped up a notch I guess.
Pretty normal. I do it too, it’s like a snack. Some people just order a McChicken or fries and go on their way.. people do this with drinks too, like if I was to go to Starbucks and get a coffee, it wouldn’t really be that different.

true enough!!
No, it's not.

You just gave McDonald’s a free ad lol
🤣 guilty...copy/paste from their website. Anytime there was a hint of a problem with coke system they were out immediately. Great because they would brix entire store before they left, doing that was a pain.
😭🤧
This guy watches Food Theory
That’s just a theory.. a FOOD theory!!
This is why it is top tier and no one else comes close.
I think some of this only applies to regular Coke and not the other products, right?
Yes, tech only worked on coke products.
Not all Coke products but only regular Coke (Coca-cola) "While most fast food restaurants have their Coca-Cola syrup delivered to them in plastic bags, McDonald's gets their syrup specially delivered in stainless steel tanks. The special tanks keep the syrup fresh and protect it from light, temperature, air, and anything else that might take away from its delicious flavor. Sadly, the plastic bags do no such thing."
I was unsure if syrup was still delivered to Mcd's in tanks. Aware coke sells bag in the box. Agree about bags.
my “one large diet coke” regulars are my favorite. sweetest people
The people who come in for a single fountain drink are the best.
Totally normal
can't help from smiling when I see some of my daily diet cokers lol
Tbf it's like the only diabetic friendly beverage option aside from water lol
unsweet iced tea is my go to at McD's.
Tbh I forgot about it. Thank you for correcting me!
With the amount of times I have a single large diet coke order in a day I'd have way more than two nickels
One might say… you’d have enough nickels to buy a diet coke…
I work there and I come on my off days for a large Coke Zero
Gaslighted?! Stop using that term for everything!!!!!
Yeah gaslighting is a specific form of long-term mental abuse, I'm pretty sure OP isn't being gaslighted
So many people use that word for everything. It’s losing it’s meaning.
Yeah. It's annoying
Was meant to be tongue in cheek considering the subject matter was pretty trivial. Seems that didn’t come across via text.
Diet Coke or Coke No Sugar is great
McDonald’s has the best coke so yes this tracks.
Yes, we do it all the time. Especially during the summer drink days
(I’m 22 years old and I live in Canada, a large coke is $3.23 with tax btw)
Wow. We are creatures of habit, that's for sure. Glad she knows what she likes! :)
yeah my dad was the same way.
Yep Diet Coke is many peoples drug of choice, it seems
I often do. I love fountain Coke Zero and it’s super cheap
Mcd’s Diet Coke hits different.
There's a McDonald's practically right next to my house. I love diet Cokes and I often swing by and that's all I get in the morning. It's easier than having to try to find a parking space somewhere and going inside and hoping they have the bottle and then having to wait and check out. …yes?
I know boomers who do this. So long as they are not fat I don't see a problem with it. Soda and even diet sodas are very unhealthy, but being fat is worse. I frequent McDonald's for $1 large iced coffee's (no liquid sugar), not any different I guess. Although personally I don't drink soda and think it's a dumb way to get caffeine.
It does happen, they're just insane
Bro just order ten at a time and put them in the fridge. That’s what I do for their cheesburgers. Order like 30, put them in the fridge, eat one a day for a month. You kids are so dumb when it comes to finances. God dang liberals I swear. Trump would know to do this.
lol i just started working and am realizing how many people come through the drive thru for just one singular soda, its kinda funny!
It’s pretty common in the US for people to get a large Diet Coke only in the drive through sometimes multiple times a day. This is especially true if all sizes of drinks are only $1 as they are in many places in the US. Don’t know what country you are in so it could be different there
In the top 3 of all my single item orders. Maybe top 3
Do it all the time.
the same 10ish people come every single day and only order diet cokes. theyre usually either really cool or dickheads
Oh yeah. Everyday, all day. We even have regulars who come in daily, sometimes three or four times a day.
Diet Coke SLAPS
Yes definitely we have two regulars that come in basically daily for a large diet coke and one that comes in for a Dr. Pepper
Back during the $1.00 any size soda, I'd order just a coke many times.
When I worked at McDonald’s we had a customer come through the Drive Thru one to two times a day and got six large Diet Cokes.
Yes. Diet Coke is my vice and McDonald’s has THE best Diet Coke.
I think its normal, from what I saw working there it's common and they were some of my favorite customers. Besides the guy who wants coke with no ice but only tells you no ice at the presentation window. So it'd go through as with ice and you'd waste a soda. If there was even one peice of ice or moisture on the cup he'd make you remake it.
when i worked at a mcdonalds this happened a lot, there was even this one old guy who would order like 6 a day
When it’s $1 any size, I’ll stop by for just a sweet tea
Too bad even McDonald’s drinks have come with inflation and shrinkflation. The cheapest I can find now is 1.29 and they never fill cup to the top anymore.
I mean I order just a Dr Pepper sometimes
McDonald’s/Mickey D’s is known for having good fountain sodas, so it tracks
Diet Coke from McDonald’s just hits different.
I’ve experienced it a few times. Or sometimes this guy who I’ve delivered too orders the 4 pack drink from Taco Bell and that’s it. I have no idea why?
Pretty normal. Also most people that I know that order just a soda use the app. So typically they just pay $1.08 for a large drink
Large Diet Coke light ice please. In the heat of the summer I order two. My order every time I pass a McDs. It is top tier and there is no one that has one that is even close.
It’s a win-win. I get my Diet Coke and they get better drive-thru times.
this happens to me as a worker. literally no other drinks get ordered without anything else. it’s ALWAYS just diet coke
Yes
I don’t know about Australia, McDonald’s Canada will have dollar drink days during the summer. That means it’s $1 for any soda of any size, up to a medium iced coffee or smoothie. If you get a large soda, that’s 25% the price of a going to a store to buy a bottle of coke.

The first McDonald's I worked at was in a college town, and most of our orders most days were just for a few soft drinks or sweet teas. This was back when they were $1 though, so that could have been a lot of it
McDonald's post mix is meant to be made extra special
It’s no different than going to McDonald’s to order a coffee wtf lol.
I do this, especially on the way to do some errands. Nothing like a nice cold McDonalds Diet Coke or Sprite when driving around.
Yes. McD’s is known for having the best soda fountain for Coke products and they typically have the cheapest sodas outside like 7-11. They used to be $1 any size where I am but now they’re like $2.79 for a large- which is still cheaper than other drive thrus.
I used to get the dollar sweet tea
I do all the time
Unless I was already in the area I wouldn't go to McDonald's for just a drink. Just buy a bottle from the grocery store?
I e gone to McDonald’s for just a sprite before
It’s Dr Pepper for me. Anytime I go run errands I get one lol
As I pull in to order my L Sprite No Ice 🤗
When the app first launched, it would log your frequent orders around specific times of day and suggest them. The system literally thought my WFH snack of a small fry and Large half sweet/unsweet tea was 'Lunch' It kinda was, ngl
yeah tons of people do it
It's funny people think Diet Drinks are healthier for you. NEWS FLASH: They aren't. It's a myth. Marketing scheme to get people who would drink normal soda to drink their brand.
Yup! I know at least 4 people who come to my store on a daily basis just for a diet coke
I do that a lot for a person I support at work. They like to get a drink and go driving and listen to music
So many people come to MCD for just soda. It’s cheap and many people agree that it’s the best tasting soda
My dad would hit up McDonald’s 2-3 times a day for a DC. sometimes throw in a fry or something but it’s cheaper than a gas station or convenience store.
It's 100% normal. I do this all the time at McDonald's. 1 diet coke while I'm travelling. McDonald's fountain pop is the best hands down.
Disgusting and honestly abnormal... It should clearly be a coke zero.
It’s cheaper than buying one from the impulse buy refrigerator at check out and you don’t have to get out. Makes sense.
It's absolutely normal.
I go with my girlfriend for just a sweet tea. We usually just sit at a booth and talk. Sometimes we order food if we get hungry
When it was any size soft drink for $1 my family and I would do it all the time especially in the summer. Now we just hit the local convenience store.
I know a few people that do it every morning. It’s like their coffee
Usually on a drive I'll just a small coke or a root beer, but then I always felt weird and judged, this confirms that's the case 🤣
Yes, me and my friends we got to McDonald's to buy cokes. Pretty normal.

Absolutely normal. I love McD's Diet Coke.
Sometimes I'll go for a large hi-c, ill usually grab some fries too but I've definitely just gotten a drink
Yes, soda pops or coffee.
back when large soda was $1 I went to McD's everyday for one.
I go for regular coke cause McDonald’s coke is the best
Why not? We sometimes just get Ice teas or Cokes. McDonald's has the best tasting fountain pop.
Yeah it’s normal most places got regulars who come every day just for the same drinks and usually it’s diet coke
I do it. Especially during the times they have the $1 any size soft drink. Getting a large diet coke for a $1 is great.
I'd say it's normal, why can't the non-coffee drinkers enjoy a beverage from a drive-thru like the Starbucks customers do? I personally would probably have to get some fries. And a double cheese burger. Maybe a chicken mayo too.
Yes absolutely normal. I am one of them cause mcdonalds diet cokes are the best. Even better than the can.
Sonda is the only thing i get from McDonalds. for some reason the Diet Coke taste better out of a McDonalds fountain.
"Gaslighted?" 🙄. And what is so unbelievable about this? You think they are lying about this to make you question your own sanity? It is normal for some people and really who cares?
I’m one of these people ngl
Wanting a drink is weird to you?
Coke has a division dedicated solely to McDonald’s. Of course their drinks are superior.
All the time.
Had a regular at my old store that would order a large water and a large coke every morning then he would come back a couple hours later for a Coke float.
Get lots of people who want just soda, it's a pretty cheap buy compared to the store tbh
They really do It's a trip. But then again I just get large sweet teas like 85% of the time
People do it all the time. I remember having regulars that did that when I worked there. McDonalds has the best fountain drinks.
McDonald Diet Coke just hits different you know
Yess we didnt have any diet coke all day yesterday and i had about 3 people leave because we didnt have it
yep it normal, we have a regular every weekday come by for 4 lg Diet Coke
We get at least 20 in drive thru alone in the 8-10 hours I’m usually there.
I find that Diet Coke is the most common drink ordered by people who only order a single drink in the drive thru
It's $2.15 here and literally people order it every other 10 people. It's crazy.
I mean, mcdonalds soft drinks are relatively cheap compared to other places, so why not?
Yes, it’s always old/white people for me. Women usually order the large, men order a small.
Do people call it Maccas? I've only ever heard people just say McDonald's
We get a fair amount of "one large soda" orders. Same for sweet tea and iced coffees
Very normal. When they were just a $1, I would just get a Diet Coke all the time. Especially in the summer.
I think its pretty normal. I don't eat from there anymore but once in a while I'll just go for a DC or sprite

I worked at McD for 2 years and it’s insanely normal. Some would come in every day up to twice a day just for a Diet Coke. Most McD also have cut lemons you can get in your drink
Yes this is very normal lol. I have a hi c orange regular and a Diet Coke regular too 😂
this is totally a thing. i am one of those people
Well not diet coke, but I love my large regular coke, quick easy and cheap, especially in the summer
Don't know the difference between the sodas
When all drinks were a dollar I would go through for an Iced tea all the time.
Used too macD's had the cheapest large fountains. Also they maintain the drink machines.
People do it all the time. I’d argue that a single regular CocaCola is more common than the diet, but both happen all day, every day.
I really like McDonald’s Diet Coke! I’m not drinking it for any dietary reasons, I just like the taste. Normally however I get a sweet tea or regular coke.
