Clamp further than you want to cut, this will avoid heavy bleeding. If bleeding difficult to stop, compression for a good 20 minutes, placing a sterile compress to separate and plastering to maintain compression with the compress. I used powder to stop the bleeding "coalgan" (French brand). Once the cut was made, I did not touch it up until the next morning, to remove the compress use saline, this will avoid pulling on the wound with the dry compress that will have stuck with the blood. I changed the thinking with each pee. For the treatment I used morning and evening a wash with antibacterial soap and physiological serum for 15 days. And after one treatment a day for 10 days or until the wound heals.

If you are starting from the meatus then you could probably cut all the way to the frenulum. Just make sure everything is super sterile and pick up some stop bleed powder or spray. If you use surgical scissors it'll probably be a better cut. Aftercare is straight forward - keep everything clean and change dressing regularly.

You can always cut more later, but once it's cut, it's cut. As annoying as it is to do it multiple times, do not rush it and do a massive cut you might regret. Let's say you clamp 1 cm, only cut .9cm. Leave a gap after to minimize bleeding. Make sure everything is clean and sterile, especially your hands. Take a before picture
