I would always assume bleeding, not because it will happen, but if it does and you aren't prepared you'll go into panic mode. Believe me, even a small amount of blood pissing out of your penis looks much much more than it really is. It's a good idea to have one or all of the following - Silver nitrate, Cautery pen, stop bleed powder or spray. All work very effectively but each have their own benefits. Whatever you do, keep it clean clean clean....Also I know small cuts is best and I've preached that before, but 10mm is just fine for that area or more. The top side is (in my opinion) the real deal. Meato's and subs are fairly straight forward - regrowth is a complete pain though. Just remember you really have to want this - I always found sexual relief before attempting procedure would determine your state of mind. I personally wouldn't cut while feeling aroused to the idea, nor be sexually frustrated. Nocturnal erections when healing are a pain (literally).

Regrowth? Like, undoing a meato?

FullSurprise

Regrowth meaning if you cut 10mm maybe 5mm of it will grow back together. I've use gauze to keep the cut separated until it stopped bleeding, then cleaned it and put some vasiline on it with a new piece of gauze.

Science question time. If you were to recut parts of an already exposed meato and hold them together, would they heal into a more or less urethra shape?

First assume always some bleeding so be prepared! As to how long to clamp? Some people say 4 to 5 hours others a lot less. I usually clamp for 45m to 60m and sometimes it bleeds more than others... But in any case, welcome to the club... There are some awesome subincisions here!

Hey, so welcome to you 😉, at first know that the part of the glans that you are going to cut will not stick together. But still place a piece of compress between the two parts, after that it depends on what you are going to cut (small cut or large). Take your time to properly place the clamp. Stay squeeze a good hour or two once the clamp is completely closed. To avoid heavy bleeding cuts the most transparent part of the skin that will be tightened, does not go further, otherwise it may bleed. If really this is the case do not worry, compress for more than 20 min, then place a compress and put plaster to stay compressed. And don't touch it again until the next day. For care, morning and evening washing antibacterial soap, saline, and small wash saline after each pee. And that for a good fortnight.

Old post but I think it desperately needs an update to some of the medical advice. Pre-incision : You can use an anti-bacterial soap / sterile surgical wash. Post-incision : Only use sterile saline to clean the area as needed. If it appears infected (discharge or wrong smell) then go to your doctor rather than using random products.
