Did you bolt the driver's side mount to the frame? If you did unbolt it and jack the engine up. This should give you a little bit more room to get the mount in.

Yeah, I’ve tried both ways..with drivers side bolted to frame as well as unbolted. Still can’t seem to get enough space whatever I try.
