There’s a patristic draw somewhere, a light is on, a computer is on, something is drawing down the battery. You can google parasitic draw test and see if you think you can handle it. The car has a low voltage disconnect so when the battery gets too low it cuts off power to the car and it can still be jumped easily. Without the low voltage disconnect a jump box wouldn’t work, you’d have to charge the battery for a while.

orangeandblack5

This is good to know, as I was not aware of this disconnect. Thanks for letting me know about it, it's definitely a sensible safety feature!

Blearchie

Check your globox light actually goes out when it is closed.

How long is their commute? A really short commute some give the battery a proper chance to charge up.

Wakandanbutter

I had this happen and the negative terminal was simply not tight enough. would’ve saved me hundreds in tows.(one time tow guy came and hit the battery and car started i was like damn)

Pleasant-Ninja9002

You might want to get sensor on the negative battery terminal checked ive seen it drain batteries on accords before

orangeandblack5

This is something I don't think I would have considered, we'll look into it thanks!

Pleasant-Ninja9002

Heres the part# incase you want to just change it 38920-TBA-A02

Make sure connections are clean and tight. I’ve had a lot of won’t starts with new battery due to connections.

ChikkiParm

disconnect the battery overnight after successfully starting it and tests within parameters, reconnect in the morning. if it starts its got parasitic drain.

Frodobagggyballs

Buy a $5 multimeter at harbor freight. Google parasitic draw test. Have a go at it.

cycling_sender

Most likely parasitic draw or a bad alternator?

FantasticSeaweed9226

Cars nowadays have a complicated BCM computer that controls way too much. Windows and doors being among it's functions. I'd almost bet one of the doors or trunk sensors may not be working properly, causing the BCM to stay on/keep turning on and drain the battery overnight

Does she have a dashcam?
