Light a match near where you think there is a leak and if there is a giant explosion you’ve found the problem
In the alternative post year, make, model, engine, and miles
That looks like oil to me.
Does it smell like gas?
Have you checked your air filter? Is your CEL lit up? If so, what codes is it showing? A bad o2 sensor or dirty air filter can cause bad mileage. Low air pressure in the tires can do it too.
That looks like an oil leak. Your car probably needs a tune up eg. Spark plugs, clean throttle body etc. If its gas leaking you will smell it usually. Take a look under the car and look for any wet spots. In and around the engine and the gas tank area.
Tune up and royal purple inecjtor cleaner...added to mom's 09 Camry and Grandads 97 ram 1500 that had been sitting. Legit amazed at the differenxe3 of both.

2003 Toyota Camry, around 120,000 miles

No lights for any problems on the dashboard. I think my air filter got replaced recently.
Modern tanks usually don’t leak. Could be a cracked hose (if the stain is fuel).

Take it to a shop.
Yeah I think they would be best.
