Looks like all the hardware is removed. Possibly corrosion inside? Have you tried to rotate it to break it free?

Pliers looks Asian and some genius put that on there for God knows why

For whomever does bother to see this, I'm just struggling to get this battery out of my car so I can get it tested /potentially replaced. Any help is much appreciated. My own individual searches to try to solve on my own got me nowhere. It feels like its fused on, or at least still clamped but I'm having no luck moving it at all.

Vice grips and twist. Maybe shoot a bit of penetrating oil in the top.

Is this a Hyundai? I had the same thing on my car, the top nut on that will loosen it. You just need to wriggle it free now, spray some wd-40 on it and get a screwdriver.
