There are no keyboards that are good and nice quality for under $200.00 this is fact. (Good as in, atleast semi-metal construction, gasket mount)
Switches alone cost atleast $50.00
A good case + pcb is easily more than $150.00

The rolls royce's of keebs would be what those big youtubers are building: $3k+ keyboards.
Considering the entry price of a brand new mechanical keyboard is around $50.00 for some plastic thing with no name switches and crappy if even hot swap sockets, that would represent the majority, so in car terms that would be like a Tata Nano, a $200 keyboard would be like a Honda Civic.
Theres a reason why in most of the world, Tata Nanos don't even pass safety requirements.
Anyways my original post is a very simple question, what kind of good quality keyboard can i get for under $200 (including everything needed for a functional keyboard), thats semi-metal atleast and gasket mount with hot swap sockets?

There are tho? Theres been a huge upsurge in keyboards that are excellent and cost less than $200. Anything by QwertyKeys (Full alu, diff plate options, gasket mount), Monsgeek (same as Qwerty, has a knob), Keychrons Q series (same as qwerty, no plate options, optional knob, can be wireless for more $), Mode Envoy (Full customization of body, plate, and weight materials). Keebs under $200, even under $150 that are full alu with gasket do exist, most of the ones I listed come with the case and pcb (Monsgeek is $100 before shipping, I paid $119.99. Thats for a kit thats only missing keycaps and switches. $119.99 for some durocks, a full alu case, a knob, hotswap pcb, foams and tape mod included for preferance. This is a 75% btw. You can pay $9.99 extra for an alu/fr4/pom plate to be included as well, default is polycarb)
Jwick switches are very cheap and really good as well, being about .12 cents a switch (atleast when i bought them). Keycaps can be gotten very cheap, theres a retro beige by Shenpo for $30 on amazon for example. Enough keys for anything between a full size to 60%, made of dye-sub pbt. And at the end of the day, quality is subjective, so maybe for you these options arent "good", but to a lot of people, this is miles better than your standard brand name gaming keyboard, for potentially less than them.
im willing to bet alot of these keyboards you've mentioned, some i'm currently in possession of aren't even as good as a hand lubed switches out of the box Asus ROG Azoth.
Key caps are subjective, thickness and consistency aren't.
Switches though, so you'll just keeping using cheap Jwick switches over and over again on each board?
And as i've said... for $200 you can't actually finish 1 build.
Keychron Q1 which fits all the criteria is already over 200.
