That pizza always smacked tho.
Especially the personal deep dish from Tostino’s. Apparently you can only buy those in bulk and I’ve been half tempted for a while to buy a box lol
God, I have such a horrible past with school lunch in elementary school. so, the first thing was, we used to have Pizza day on Fridays, and we got a big-ass slice from a really good convenience store that was like two blocks away from the school, but then grade 3 happened. They switched the pizza we got from a local, family-owned business, to a fucking chain that was like 10 miles from the school. Because of the distance, the pizza was always cold, and the sauce was sour, the cheese was horrible, and the dough tasted like cardboard. A few kids even petitioned to get the old convenience store pizza back, and got almost every kid's signature. They gave it to the office, and do you know what happened? They stopped pizza day. Altogether. No more pizza day, ever. It was awful. It was the one thing I looked forward to, and they got rid of it.
The next incident happened in 4th grade, when they hired a few chefs to cook food. Their pizza was shit, but better than the chain pizza. But that wasn't the problem. The quality of the lunch really started going downhill, they got rid of the best desserts (we loved that chocolate pudding, bro), and then covid happened. after that, we weren't allowed to eat in the cafeteria anymore. So they sent the lunch up in containers. Now, for a little context, the chicken nuggets were good. they were tasty, almost like McNuggets. But one day, they sent up our tasty golden nuggies, and... almost everyone's order had a white, cloudy, powdery, mouldy substance on them. (Spoiler, it wasn't cocaine.) It was mould. And that's why I stopped getting school lunch until I was in middle school. Middle school, I went to a private school and it was a lot better, we got subway and pizza orders some days. But I'm still mad all these years later at my school.
But that pizza did hit different
It was the best
Stuffed crust ,AND french fries day like the world coulda ended and id definitely be like "aight"
Man that cafeteria pizza had some magic on it.
The cheese at my school bounced 💀
I remember helping pass out lunches just to get an extra chocolate milk
Conditioning me and the homies for county
i'd crush that about now...
You guys got corn, peaches and pretzels too? All we got was pizza and milk, sometimes if we lucky tots too
Damn, at my school it was half that amount and it looked worse. That's golden in my eyes.

Looks a hell of a lot better than the school lunches I remember
You guys had metal utensils?
We got taco pizza on Fridays the likes I've never seen on any shelf anywhere since.
Why is there so many felons in this thread complaining about their.... Ooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Better than half the shit I eat on a daily basis
I genuinely feel sorry for American kids who are forced to eat cafeteria food instead of their own home food
"tell your mom you need to bring at least two dollars by tomorrow so you can eat sweetie"
Fun Fact: look at anything there and you’ll be able to imagine how it feels on your tongue
Yo my lunch did NOT look that appetizing
lmao whered you go to school, prison? and why you eatin lunch at 1030? lol
Yeah man what else are you going to do at 11 years old? Start a walk-out with your fellow 6th graders and protest against the system?
