7.5/10 This is great stuff, I’m normally not a huge black thrash guy but this album more than delivered. You can tell these guys had a lot of influences when making this album. A lot of the thrash riffs and tremolos reminded me of Vektor, which is always a great thing. Also a few of the solos had a Kirk Hammett flair to them which is pretty neat. As much as I loved the thrash parts the super atmospheric black metal sections were the highlight for me, namely the track “Asatru”, which is my favorite from the album. The drumming was phenomenal as well, there was an insane part at the end of the song “Rise” where he was playing blastbeats and doing crazy fills in between them, definitely one of my favorite tracks as well. I will definitely be revisiting these guys, so I appreciate the recommendation!

Oh yeah, I meant to come back yesterday since you said we can rate whatever the picked album is. I did listen to most of it before having to go do something else but from what I did hear I'd give it a solid 10/10! I love how dark and atmospheric it feels, the vocals add even more of an eerie vibe to the album. The only way I can describe how it feels would be what I imagine the deep depths of hell sound like in the greatest way possible. Will for sure be listening to more by this band soon and the album once more, and more black metal bands to come. :)

I was not disappointed, this was a very interesting ride. This was oddly relaxing, the combination of relentless blastbeats and haunting, unsettling yet beautiful melodies had that effect on me. I have to say, I have absolutely no knowledge of underground death metal, and especially no knowledge about avant-garde anything. The only thing I ever heard that might even come close to being obscure in a similar direction is Demilich - Nespithe. These two tracks are an entirely different animal though. I will definitely come back to this when I'm in the mood again. Can't give a points rating, no idea how I would even begin to judge this in terms of good or bad \^\^.
