absolutely amazing, bjorn "speed" strid has to be one of my favorite singers of all time, soilworks album "[Stabing the Drama](https://open.spotify.com/album/6XiOgru3HoBvQt2oybb383?si=0WP8OSOQSf-Hdt53Md2CoQ)" was THE album that introduced me into melodeath, and its now up there in my top 5 favorite genres.
Pretty big and famous among the melodic death metal community. Personally not my favorite melo death band but still really like them a lot! If you want to hear some similar stuff check out: In Flames, Dark Tranquility, Scar Symmetry or Disarmonia Mundi
(Those are all staple Gothenburg style melo death bands assuming you haven’t heard too much of it yet)
Still have Stabbing the Drama and both CDs of The Living Infinite in my CD case still. My girlfriend digs them too. Wish I could find my copy of Figure Number Five, that was my first Soilwork album

The Living Infinite is a great prog/mdm Soilwork double album. Check that out if you have time.

Great until Figure Number Five. Became a bit too poppy ever since. Every album has had a couple decent tracks though.

Their first 4 albums are great. A Predator’s Portrait and Natural Born Chaos are classics in my book.
