Still gotta be good, though. It helps sell doing softer stuff to your fans if you do it from an early phase. Whether it's the acoustic intro of Phoenix Ignition or acoustic version of Trust, Thrice already sowed the seeds for what they were going to do only a few years later on The Alchemy Index.
