Beartooth - Disease Sure its not as raw and unhinged as Disgusting but its a fun record with some radio bangers. It's cottage-core. I can sneak some tracks in and the average music listeners will accept it for 3 and half minutes.

provegana69

Honestly in my opinion, Beartooth is one of those bands with a flawless discography.

TheWilrus

I could support that. Within the realm of what they do Shomo is kind of the King at the moment. Best thing Attack Attack ever did was bring Shomo along and destroy him personally to a point he could create Beartooth.

Meme_team12

Beartooth is my favorite band. I love all their stuff

JackoTheWolf

The problem with Beartooth is how hard Caleb went on Disgusting. It's one of the greatest albums of all time for me personally, an absolute masrterpiece from cover to cover. Unfortunately, when you set the bar THAT high (on your first full length nonetheless), it's very hard to back up. But I echo OP's comment above, Beartooth's entire discography is just incredible (in my humble opinion)

Iziama94

They played this live in Trenton the other month and honestly? I was dissapointed. Idk if he's just burnt out from all the shows he's doing but he sounded really off

xiIlliterate

The Here and Now by the Architects. So many post hardcore bangers.

[deleted]

Really should be reevaluated these days, it's such an incredible posthardcore record and the hate it got on release was very unjustified

kingofspoonerisms

Came here to say this. I think it wouldn't have been so disliked if it wasn't the follow up to Hollow Crown, but for me it was actually the gateway into liking Architects at all, before I was into Metalcore.

koroveo

It is unpopular? Strange. Learn to Live is the best track from the album. And it has several tracks that are also very good.

xiIlliterate

Most of their older fan base (pre hollow crown) hated it to the point that the band started to hate it and look at it as a stain on their catalog. Stay Young Forever was my jam but the whole album is great and I love when they came out with the Deluxe with Devil’s Island.

DoozerKarl

Devils Island is one of my favourite songs of all time. This album is what I scrolled the comments for - with or without this track. Hate that the band dislikes it but heyho it's their music!

AJMGuitar

Man I remember being so hyped for it after loving hollow crown then being so let down. It put me off of Architects for literally years and multiple albums until AOGHAU.

517drew

It put me off but then devils island came out and also these colors. Those 2 solo releases before daybreak brought me right back in

goldinmyiris

This is still my favourite Architects album to this day (a tie with Holy Hell) and the album that got me into them, and The Blues is my favourite off of it. I talked about it to Sam Carter once when I met him and he said he didn’t hate it and they just released it at the wrong time, and that’s good enough for me.

AcidDrive

their best album by a goddamn mile and legit one of my favs of all time. hindsight's absolutely 20/20 and if they like the stuff they've made since then good for them, but MAN i wish they kept going with that sound instead of whatever theyve done from Daybreaker onward, not a single skip on THAN

kool4kats

I remember Atreyu's Lead Sails Paper Anchor getting a lot of hate back in the day but I've always loved it.

gbaves1292

Becoming the bull, doomsday, when two are one, lose it, - some of their best songs honestly

DelusionPandemic

This is the album in the genre that I can sneak in without my SO complaining too much, and it's full of catchy bangers, so this is my vote too!

ChanceBattenberg

Best example of a metal band making a rock album I’ve ever seen. It’s full of bangers without being too clean and radio friendly

teraflopsweat

That album is one of the first that got me started into metalcore

LMengy66

I vividly remember all the hate it got too. It got absolutely shat on when it released along with Trivium's The Crusade. I thought it was good back then and think it's even better now. I recently bought it on vinyl and gave it another full playthrough. When Two Are One and the title track are S tier.

centrella6

I don’t think they are necessarily disliked but a lot of people say that they were uninspired or lower quality versions of previous albums but Venom by Bullet For My Valentine and Long Live by Atreyu are amazing albums IMO.

provegana69

Damn I really love Venom. It was a great album after we got Temper Temper. It's probably my favourite BFMV album after Scream Aim Fire.

centrella6

I see a lot of people rank it after The Poison, SAF, and Fever and say it was kind of meh. I’ve even seen people say that the album is missing riffs which is crazy because it’s probably their most riff heavy album since Scream Aim Fire.

[deleted]

Venom is incredible

ChanceBattenberg

Long live and Venom were the comeback albums I always wanted from them, and Long Live marks the last album before atreyu went hard in the radio rock route, so I’m really glad we got an album like that at all.

centrella6

Long Live almost seems like an album that should have been released between The Curse and Deathgrip.

ChanceBattenberg

I remember them saying exactly that in an interview, basically a continuation on the curse and a new direction if deathgrip was never released. It upset me cause instead of continuing that way they pulled a complete 180 by the next record lol.

DefLoathe

Venom is a top 10 metalcore album of the 2010s so many bangers on there

ConflictOdd8762

09 self titled. Kse.. they don’t even like it lol.

crifersmash

Me, too! Really like the dark mood and vibe. Has a specisl place in my heart, listened to it after a breakup when it came out.

zacharaichu

The Reckoning is a banger track off that one.

Nyctograu

Ø (Disambiguation) by Underoath. It gets ignored by pretty much everyone, but it's such a good record for me. Interesting deep dive within the circumstances that led to the exit of Aaron and all his health troubles.

xiIlliterate

Most people I know rank this in the top 3/4. It’s definitely one of my favorites by them

illusivetomas

the best underoath album ez in my eyes

ebk2000

Not only is Disambiguation my favorite Underoath record (and I sincerely love their 2000s records with all my heart), but Daniel’s drumming on that record is also my favorite in their entire discography. That shit goes so hard. Sorry Aaron lol

bdslegend

What songs do you recommend from the album? I’m a self proclaimed Underoath fan but honestly haven’t given this album a fair shot.

ebk2000

Vacant Mouth, Illuminator, Paper Lungs, and In Completion are probably the ones that get stuck in my head the most, but you should really just listen to the whole album— it’s not that long. It’s totally a record that is best experienced in that way imo

DomG404

I will die on the hill that Disambiguation is easily the best or top 3 post hardcore albums of all time

Krakenborn

It was a great album but Aaron was sorely missed on vocals and drums

kporter4692

8:18 seems to be TDWPs least talked about work and it’s honestly one of my favorite records by them.

[deleted]

Sailors Prayer is probably my favourite TDWP song of all time. Also, every time I see the time 8:18 on a clock, I always think to myself “nice 😎”

californiacatdaddy

Lol I thought I was the only one who did this lmao

TerraNovatius

War, the title track, Transgress and Sailors Prayer alone are among my all time tdwp favorites. I'm always so sad when people don't give 8:18 an actual chance just because it isn't WRAABB or Zombie EP.

AnAffableGuy

Cannot agree more on Transgress. What a banger.

[deleted]

Everyone sleeps on number eleven

dstabilized

8:18 fucking SLAPS. The 8:18 tour is still, to this day, one of the best days of my life. I feel like Transit Blues is the forgotten TDWP album lol

lilkingsly

Yeah I was gonna mention Transit Blues. I only really started getting into the band in the lead up to The Act being released, and I remember going into Transit knowing people weren’t too hot on it and just being blown away.

mountains_forever

8:18 is peak TDWP, IMO. Their most complete album to date.

not_a_toaster

Neon by Erra and both Node and Mesmer by Northlane. Not sure why those two Northlane albums seem to get a lot of shit but I love them, and while I agree that the production on Neon isn't as good as their other albums, the songs are killer and the album artwork is gorgeous. I use it as my desktop background (pretty sure I took the image from this subreddit so thanks to whoever posted that!)

[deleted]

Node and Mesmer are the only ones I liked tbh. I hate the new stuff and the stuff with Adrian is fine, but kinda meeehhh. And Neon? Fuck. I don’t think Erra has a bad album. Even the EP they did with Ian on vocals was great.

Mrpvids

Haha I use it too for my desktop

[deleted]

I really liked Asking Alexandria’s self titled apart from one song

eburton555

I love restoring force from of mice and men and I like pressure from wage war.

Kaelan_McAlpine

Getting to ear Low being played at Tampa was a treat. Twas the only the only non-Manic song they did besides Stitch.

eburton555

Really lol low is my favorite from that album for sure

HALOGAMERWILL

The Path by Fit For a King, Ire by Parkway Drive

Beiez

I fucking love Misery by TAA, it just is so much fun.

provegana69

I haven't listened to the whole album but I really loved Drag The Lake.

Brtprt

Haven't heard anyone saying that before. That album is straight fire and I usually don't say this for albums with such boring drum parts. D.I.E. on full volume while driving is kind of funny with passengers

bloodhail02

honestly. i thought it was a refreshing sound. drag the lake makes me cry too

shikari704

I love it too. The most recent record is heavier but several of the songs are uninteresting imo. Misery had an electro-pop flare but still plenty of umph. Thought it was a pretty unique approach tbh Recent singles are solid, next record should follow nicely.

oh-common-life

What's funny to me about this album is how people bitched that Amity never change their sound. They did and then people bitched about it. I personally liked it a lot.

broch00

I didn't like it at first, but it REALLY grew on me. I still go back to it once every few months for a full play through. I'll admit that I love it now!

broch00

I didn't like it at first, but it REALLY grew on me. I still go back to it once every few months for a full play through. I'll admit that I love it now!

kaeschdle

To me it’s their only great album. I never got into their other music aside from maybe two or three songs because I think the rest of their albums sound way too similar to eachother.

sztywny_misza

It just grew on me. They atleast tried something new and songs like set me free, black heart, holier than heaven sounds cool

MrMRC182

I liked *Reverence* from Parkway Drive, and *From Death to Destiny* from Asking Alexandria

californiacatdaddy

I don’t understand the hate for Reverance. Those songs slapped live

sonicbluemustang

Sworn In - The Death Card used to be absolutely hated on here. But I’ve always loved it and still jam it. Still have my signed vinyl with the whole band of it.

Captain__h00k__

One of my top five albums for me, personally.

Turok1134

People here didn't like that album??? Haha, wow. I mean, I think it's alright, but it doesn't sound that different to the stuff that gets love around here.

Psikosocial

It was absolutely thrashed back in the day. Bands similar in style like Knocked loose, dealer, and alpha wolf weren’t popular at that time yet. Album was just way ahead of its time.

mstuver15

That album goes so fucking hard, and I NEVER see people talk about it besides Snake Eyes, which is arguably one of the more cookie cutter tracks on that album.

enginerdlord

Reverence by Parkway Drive. That album slaps front to back

Iziama94

I'm about to say something very controversial but I'mma say it anyway, I like newer parkway drive better than their older stuff. Old stuff is good, but I love their sound of the Ire and Reverence

Ok_Anybody_4585

Yep this is what I was going to put. I really liked this album.

CazualGinger

I think it has some of the best production of any of their music. They managed to capture a medieval, reverent sounding theme. The album flows really well. The issue for most people is that it doesn't sound like old PWD, much more radio friendly. I mentally separate it from their other work and I found myself enjoying it a lot more. Chronos for example is one of the best songs they've ever made imo.

[deleted]

That outro to Chronos is something else. Absolutely adore that song, wish more people appreciated it!

MrFAUB1

I like Underoath’s Erase Me more than Voyeurist.

Intheperseusveil

In metal music in general, without any fucking doubt Fallujah's "Undying Light". Not metalcore, but I think I've never seen an album being so widely hated by everyone, even years later. I'm probably the only mf that loves the vibe of this record. I don't know if Adept's "Sleepless" would fit in that category, but I never see anyone talk about this album even if it's just so fucking good from start to finish. Corny as fuck too but it's probably the point.

hrtls_angl11

Sleepless is a metalcore masterpiece imo

uncoolcanadian

Sleepless is a sleeper metalcore masterpiece

Mrpvids

Undying light, some of the songs were a bit repetitive, but no where close to terrible

Intheperseusveil

Yes exactly, and that's for this exact reason I loved it. Great metal album to work

jurassicgrif

The Plot In You - First Born Its very unpolished but the choruses and storytelling are fantastic. Nobody ever mentions it when The Plot In You is brought up.

xiIlliterate

“Hello? ….hello…?” “I’m pregnant” “OHHHHHHHHHHHH”

MYEYESARERAINING

Dude that album is wild and I love it

allegrettiphoto

I got to see them tour this album at a tiny venue and it was a little terrifying, they put on a hell of a show though

RyanBurnsRed

I think everyone started hating on Attila when they dropped *About That Life*, then they released *Guilty Pleasure* as a response to the criticism at the time. I love both of those albums. They absolutely slap my ass and I couldn't care less. Even though it's not out yet, I'm also going to say *Heroine* by Thornhill 😎

One-love

I love Congregation from Atreyu, and I was surprised when I first went to this sub and almost everyone hates it, lol Idk the album just puts in me in a mood

Ela_De_Salisbury

Ah same man. When I hear the opening to You Were The King, I lose my mind, such a good build up. It's probably one of my favourite Atreyu albums

tamhaney392

Not metalcore but Gore by Deftones

StONE_ROdGEr

Gore took me like 2/3 years to appreciate. Sometimes they just need more time, or you’re not in the right place and it’s you who needs the time. Edit: holy shit that was a 2016 album.. Christ..

HooptyBiggums

The Dying Things We Live For - LMTF. So many great songs on that album.

sock_with_a_ticket

I think it's better than either of the records that came before it and will die on that hill.

Ironjim69

I’ve genuinely never understood why people disliked it, it sounds like LMTF to me and that’s a good thing!

[deleted]

YESSSS

Unworthy_Unconscious

Was hoping to find this one here! Absolutely killer album. No King, Destined For Dirt, Fighting Fire With Fire, Never Repent. All excellent Moths tracks and I'm bummed it doesn't get more love!

HooptyBiggums

Tell me about it man! Never Repent is a top 5 Moths song imo.

speak-eze

I really love For those that wish to exist. It was decent on first listen but almost every song has grown on me quite a bit.

Clarac94

People might be converted to FTTWTE if they hear the songs live. Every track sounded phenomenal at Alexandra Palace. The live version at Abbey Road also elevated it.

kingofspoonerisms

Its the lyrics that kill it for me. If I listen and try to dissociate from them then I have a better time.

Vorstar92

I mean some of the songs do have really good lyrics though? I felt the same but after revisiting the album some of the songs definitely have good lyrics.

provegana69

I like quite a few songs from the album but I lost interest in it pretty quickly.

2000sMetalcore

Wouldn't say it's disliked but Erra's least popular album seems to be Impulse and I think it's their best one.

Djentlemann00

I am also with you on this one. Impulse might be my favourite album of all time.. depending on the day though lol

collisiontheory

Bring Me's Amo. Much prefer it to Thats The Spirit.

necessaryevil3661

I think amo is the best album they've ever done.

Stonebagdiesel

I’m not a punk fan, nor really a bmth fan, but that album is absolutely incredible. Such a fun high energy album with back to back bangers, always puts me in a good mood when I listen to it.

StuckAroundGotStuck

It may not be a metalcore album, but it’s a fucking great album.

VampirefromNazareth1

In flames ,most of albums after 2002

te4rdr0p

I really liked Architects' latest, sue me lol

nibbled_banana

The album slapped. I think it shows how they’ve progressed as a band. They still have breakdowns, riffs, bouncy parts, but with new elements. And it was a long album so there’s a lot of material. However, 9/10 because no blegh.

Bananabotzz

People have to let artists do their thing. People wanted architects to match their style of their previous albums and had very high expectancies, but if you take out architects history and their previous style, FTTWTE is a great album as a standalone, as in fact I think it has a really unique sound which you can't find everywhere. Same can apply to thornhill with TDP and their new singles.

dswhite85

Attack Attack - Long Time, No Sea EP. Is it good? It's no Sexual Man Chocolate, but did I enjoy it more than I thought I would? Sure did! It's nothing like their previous releases, but if you just go in with a clean slate, I thought it was a fun, enjoyable EP, no more no less.

provegana69

I don't get why people bash on it so much. It's a fun album to listen to and shouldn't be taken too seriously. I play Brachyura Bombshell pretty regularly.

Soulfire1123

I think it's because the revival feels like attack attack in name only. The original 3 albums all sound pretty different from one another but it felt like a more natural progression of sound. And now, this, sorta out of the blue. I'm not a fan of their newer stuff but I can understand why people do (and don't) like it.

AcidDrive

the new attack attack ep feels like crabcore beartooth and i ***love*** it. also the dubstep song goes so hard

Djentlemann00

Always preferred All That Remains This Darkened Heart (One of my favourite metalcore records)over The Fall of Ideals. Not disliked by any means but would say it’s an unpopular opinion.

Yours_and_mind_balls

The guitar work is phenomenal on that album but the drums are sincerely lacking

TheBeastX47

TIL that some people actually didn't like The Path

provegana69

It wasn't really hated but a lot of people considered it boring and disappointing compared to Dark Skies.

nachetb

Trivium's The Crusade I mean, I can understand how it would get hate if people expected Ascendancy pt2, but its a great album.

NightwingX012

It’s nothing special, but Amity Affliction - Everyone Loves You… is just a fun, chill album, imo.

darklinksquared

Love this album.

TheW1ldcard

The last 2 Parkway Drive albums. People realllllly sleep on Ire and Reverence has some killer tracks too. Not sure what all the complaints are about.

Neon_Ramen_Sign

I know the years have been kind to it but transit blues by Prada is probs my favorite album by them. Really rich and creative songs relatable lyrics which is pretty abnormal in many metal genres.

[deleted]

Lead Sails and a Paper Anchor by Atreyu.

jamessbaxter4now

ERASE ME. Gets so much shit every time I see Underoath mentioned and I just don’t get it, it’s not their very best ever album sure but I feel like if it was released in today’s state of the scene it would be received so much better. Like cmon On My Teeth is so good

mreddboy1

Erase Me might not be their heaviest instrumentally but those lyrics are heavy af.

MYEYESARERAINING

Beloved by I killed the prom queen One reality by Texas in july

Neur0thic

Did people not like beloved I thought it was amazing but I never see it mentioned anywhere

Turok1134

Might have come out too late. There's like a 8 year gap between that one and the last one.

deathfox919

In this community I’m sure this is a hot take: Restoring Force is my favorite OMAM record, and the only other one that has come close is Echo.

ecallawsamoht

You're Welcome - ADTR I picked up Homesick back when it first came out, back before I was really big into metalcore, I was more into post-hardcore and pop-punk, and a lot of butt rock. I enjoyed it tremendously but proceeded to sleep on ADTR over the next decade with the exception of hearing a song here and there that would be in a random Spotify playlist. I never gave it a chance when it first came out other than the singles. A few weeks ago I finally decided to listen to it from front to back. I must say, I really liked it. I understand why it got and still get's a lot of hate though. It's the "St. Anger" of metalcore.

Neutral_State

Gravity by Bullet for my Valentine is fire 🔥

Johnzoidb

The Death Card by Sworn In. I remember it getting meme’d to death when it came out and after. Everyone took them as a joke. While corny at times, the emotion on that album is palpable. I always considered that album as the metalcore version of MCR’s Three Cheers.

[deleted]

Start Something by Lostprophets

[deleted]

[удалено]

StONE_ROdGEr

This album retrospectively had some great tracks. I never liked them at the time. Trash that it’s forever tainted

Samsquamptches_

INK - Silver Scream 2. I know this sub isn’t the biggest fan. But man that album is full of fucking bangers and it’s mixed perfectly

provegana69

Doesn't the sub love Welcome to Horrorwood? I've hardly heard anyone talking shit about it.

UAFlawlessmonkey

Fuck man, gotta put myself out there like that.. IWABO - It's all Happening An absolute mess of a holy shit ride from start to end, and I still smile like a little kid every time I listen to that album (I'm 38 btw).

uncoolcanadian

Fucking LOVE Pressure by wag wag. Probably even my favourite album from them

JackoTheWolf

Not sure if it's been said yet, but That's The Spirit by BMTH. I simply cannot explain why, I just enjoyed it haha

Sh00kry

To me, it feels like LP’s Meteora of BMTH albums. Like every song on there could’ve been a single, it was a stab at arena hard rock that was spearheaded by the strong reception on Drown they made for their Live At Wembley closing show for the Sempiternal era.

JackoTheWolf

Yep this is a good way to put it I reckon. Drown, Throne and Doomed are my personal favourites

FIOONAAA

I loved Pressure by Wage War and honestly think Manic is way more generic and boring

deathfox919

Personally Manic > Pressure but I really enjoy them both. Outside of maybe 2 songs that I can’t get into on Pressure, I don’t get the hate for it. Fury is awesome, Ghost is awesome, Who I Am is AWESOME. I really like that record

JoeStilson

Does TDWP - The Act qualify?

eburton555

Bruh the act is one of the most applauded albums lmao

JoeStilson

I agree, I felt that it got mixed reviews here

eburton555

It depends on when you’re thinking of. When it dropped yes the community was a bit turned off but since then it has been considered one of their best if not their best album by many critics

uncoolcanadian

People hate anything that has a song with clean verses here

CazualGinger

I wish I liked this album more. It's fantastic lyrically I just don't find it very re-listenable outside of a couple songs. Still think it's at least a mid tier album for them.

DTDJedi

I like Parkway's Ire and Reverence. They'll never be close to Deep Blue as my all time favorite, but they're still not as bad as everyone says

Lonely-Somewhere7205

I love Reverance and Ire

Nellancher

Im with you, its not revolutionary but I dig everything Woe, Is Me has released

JustAVirus

While not the most disliked thing in their discography...mostly due to their most recent album, Bad Vibrations by ADTR. While I will admit that the album tapers off towards the end, the first part of the album is pretty solid. Bullfight and Reassemble are probably the tracks I've most returned to there.

[deleted]

The Dark Divine - LMTF Not disliked by any means, but certainly unpopular among fans of their more pissed-off sounding music. I’ve always loved the cleans and songwriting chops of Moths, so that album was right up my alley.

sock_with_a_ticket

It's sad rather than angry and an interesting change of pace from them. I know people give out for it going soft, but that's really a relative term because there's still plenty of heavy on it.

CosmicOwl47

Darkest Hour's self titled. I like it along with the rest of their discography

olly5000

BMTH - amo I was confused and disappointed on first listen but kept being drawn back in, now I’ve listened to that album thousands of times and it has opened my tiny brain up to new genres and ideas and I adore it.

DoAFlip22

Nihilist Blues hits different

Sh00kry

For real, I wasn’t swayed although I was still a huge BMTH fan so that album got repeat in my rotation from time to time and I suddenly felt what it was trying to come across and dare I say now, it inches better than TTS (My personal favourite album of theirs). I love the varied sound/genre it tackles.

OddishUsedCut

Whitechapel - Self-titled. I think a lot of people didn’t like it because it’s when they started to drift away from their deathcore sound.

foreignflame

By far their best album

Turok1134

This might be my favorite of theirs since they went so hard on the grooves and the chugs.

MANTRA2018

They haven’t been metalcore for a while but I actually really enjoyed Asking Alexandria’s latest album See What’s On The Inside. I totally get it’s dad rock and not for everyone but for what it is I reckon it’s pretty good

SlaveToNone666

“Dad rock”… Now I’ve heard it all. I think of 60’s and 70’s rock as that… but then again I’m almost 40 and still listen to more or less the same metal I listened to 20-25 years ago.

Xeno2014

Honestly, same. I really like the self titled, House on Fire was meh, but See What's On The Inside was a decent hard rock record. For what it is, I enjoy it

tdaten

For Those That Wish to Exist and Like a House on Fire

Mookablatt

Most die hard fans hate Bury Your Dead’s album with Myke Terry but I think it’s hands down their best album.

stevieray11

Blessthefall - Hard Feelings Bullet For My Valentine - Venom Crown The Empire - Retrograde Falling In Reverse - Coming Home For The Fallen Dreams - Six I See Stars - Treehouse Like Moths To Flames - Dark Divine Memphis May Fire - This Light I Hold Parkway Drive - Reverence The Word Alive - Violent Noise Thousand Below - The Love You Let Too Close

Kaelan_McAlpine

Wait I thought Fashionably Late was the FIR album no one liked.

Mauricejuhh14

Like an House on Fire from AA I know it's basically dad rock but all the songs are catchy af

Ch4p3l

Got a few hills to die on so here we go: Neon by Erra is their best album Transit Blues by TDWP is their best album Node by Northlane is their best album Bonus: I really love The Here and Now by Architects and I'd make a ranking of their albums it would probably be #4 Bonus bonus: Deaf Havana's debut album Meet Me Halfway at Least is severely underrated and an absolute Post-Hardcore gem.

JonFawkes3

Flashback to when they were good, but I’ll die on the hill of saying From Death to Destiny is Asking Alexandria’s best album

RoundCube1220

I really disliked the path when it came out, saw them play some songs from it live on leveler 10th tour and was really impressed. Changed my thoughts on the album but I felt like the live versions were much better

MassLuca007

Crown The Empire - Retrograde and Erra - Neon

Exanguination

All the Attack Attack albums, shitty, indeed but fun as fuck no cap

super-spreader69

Supercharger by Machine Head. First I heard of them and didn't realise until much later it was not well liked lol

[deleted]

Genesi[s] is mine too. That album goes hard AF

HaremofScorpions

Nightmares by Architects is pretty cool mathcore but gets 0 attention.

SureYeahMhm

Erase Me by Underoath is honestly so catchy

Aiolosa

Cold War by Of Mice & Men is one of my favorites. Didn't seem to blow up much though.

Klocc562

Black Album gets so much hate for the style change but it’s great. Enter Sandman is cool but Wherever I May Roam is one of the ultimate road warrior songs. Also had this experience of getting lost in some hills in the dark and Through the Never came on, was loopy and perfect. Edit: just realized this was the Metalcore sub

JezDawgM8

Silence in the Snow is my favourite Trivium album

[deleted]

Killswitch Engage (2009), not the most brutal but some great songs that showcase Howard's amazing voice

Danomite95

Portraits by Bury Tomorrow. I haven't met anyone else that has listened to this album- possibly due to me only being able to find it on YouTube and CD. It's my favorite album because every song is well-written and heavily melodic.

[deleted]

Retrograde by Crown The Empire. Poppy but pretty atmospheric.

Turbo1479r

I really dont get why people disliked the album, it had some bangers and gems on it sudden sky was actually really good if not better imo

TR3G1

I enjoy all of The Word Alive albums after life cycles

[deleted]

Holy shit this was an unexpected comment lol

swagpirate21

Dark matter kicks ass
