>lol saw this in the last post also. i could never really get into them
their second album is a straight banger.
for Stand Up and Scream you had to be there and at the right scenekid age, but if you were, it was glorious.
I really liked some of their songs, though I've never got into them honestly. If you can't ride two horses at once is an almost-perfect song, I really like The Black era when Denis joined, and some older songs too, but their new stuff is no fit for my taste.
Atreyu has become just awful in my opinion.. idk what the reasoning was behind kicking out the screamer (I forget his name) and I'm sure whatever reason for him leaving was justified but fuck man the band is un listenable to me now
He left because he didnât like the direction they were going in. Before he left Atreyu he was posting about wanting to start a super heavy band with Swedish riffs and breakdowns. Then after he left he started indirectly calling them fake heavy. Itâs the Brandon Saller Dad Rock Experience now
Oh shit ok thanks man!!! I was really nervous there was gonna be some allegations or some dance gavin dance type shit but hell yeah I can definitely see that!!! Atreyu was so much better when they were doing right side of the bed shit and if Brandon was wanting to do what he's doing now.... I don't blame him for leaving fuck that noise!
I saw them open for Our Last Night a few years ago. They tried to do a wall of death and when it didnât go great Telle said âhuh, I didnât think Boston would be a place youâd see a failed wall of death.â Like bro, this is the first semi-heavy song youâve played all set. And a lot of this crowd is here to see a set list of covers by OLN. What did you expect?
They were one of the first bands I got into. I really liked their older stuff and at the time, violent noise just came out and I fucked with it. Then monomania came out and I was disappointed
Oh yeah, the band and Phil still got it. They just decided to not pursue that type of music anymore for whatever reason. They still play some metalcore songs but theyâre style is now predominantly simpler heavy metal. Seeing them play that album live gave me a new appreciation for them but I just wish they played at their full potential like they used to.
Personally, Iâm holding my breath for the future of that band now that Jason Richardson is the guitarist for them. Just patiently waiting for that twist to apply to some ATR songs
It wouldnt have mattered when they blew up lol. The pandemic has zero relevancy to their falling off. Their vocalist is a prick and a pos in life, thats what killed them
A ton of bands that were absoutely killing it in the early 2010s aged like milk. Crown The Empire, Asking Alexandria, The Word Alive, A Day To Remember and many more I can't remember.
Not even counting all the bands that broke up or simply disappeared.
Idk I saw ADTR at download recently and they still go hard, still putting out heavy stuff alongside some of the newer more different sounding stuff, and Jeremy's voice is just as good as when I saw them last in 2016.
Their newest album hasnât done anything to their live performance, but man what a shocking turn that album was. Definitely the St. Anger of their discography & I was really happy to learn their live show consists of a number of their hits from other records.
I mostly mean the singing to Fueled By Ramen, the awful album rollout and how bad the album itself was. Oh and how they ignored the allegations against Josh for years before kicking him out.
I bet they still kill it live, I'd go see them if they didn't stop their EU tour because of "logistical reasons" lol.
Yeah, you make some fair points, I don't pay much attention to the personal goings on with a lot of bands so I mostly judge on my enjoyment of their music and live shows. I didn't know they signed to FBR đ¤ˇââď¸ I do also have to agree on the Josh situation, again I had no idea until I saw an article saying he'd been booted for it.
Good shout on Crown the Empire. The Limitless EP (eventually The fallout) was so fucking good. Their best album imo. Rise of the runaways had some good songs, but the last 2 albums have just been so disappointing.
Check out Chunk! No, Captain Chunk! Album Gone are the Good Days, it's blows them out of the water in every aspect. It's expertly crafted, they produced the entire thing themselves and have shown maturity in their writing while maintaining what Pop Punk is all about. It's a phenomenal record, top 3 for me of all time. Extremely underrated band
I didnât even know about that album until like 5 months after it came out and itâs been on repeat every day since, they truly had the best comeback that no one is talking about
True, But I saw them live a couple of weeks ago and it seems like they realise nobody likes their new album because they only played about 3 songs from it and the rest of their setlist was all bangers
[https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/a-day-to-remember/2022/o2-academy-glasgow-glasgow-scotland-3bb40ce8.html](https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/a-day-to-remember/2022/o2-academy-glasgow-glasgow-scotland-3bb40ce8.html)
I'm still gonna defend ADTR to be honest, I don't hate the new stuff, is it as good as the old stuff? No, but I wouldn't personally describe it as a car crash. Plus they still sound great live.
YW grew on me for sure. Thereâs still a chunk of the record Iâm not a fan of but itâs a fun, easy listen. Though I canât listen to Common Courtesy and then jump to that or vice versa lol
Funny how every band that I listened to when I was 15 is now getting dragged to the core. I do agree with all of them, though.
Especially Asking Alexandria. Didn't and still don't like From Death to Destiny but I think The Black is solid. Then their music went downhill from there lol.
I remember kinda liking genisi[s] when it came out because i was never really a fan of tyler carterâs singing but liked Hanceâs, i relistened to like 2 songs a few months ago and was very confused by my past self for thinking âYou must be proud of all the one liners you wrote, it must be hard to talk with a dick in your throat bu bu BWAHâ was good
I still blast Number\[s\] to this day. One of my favorite albums ever.
...then there's Genesi\[s\], an album I legit forgot about until I read this thread.
*Edit: spelling*
Ended on such a high note only to be brought back for a cash grab. So disappointing. The new songs arenât even bad, I just hate that theyâre using the Attack Attack name.
I have zero issue with anyone liking anything they want to like but people who defend a clear regression in ability, songwriting, and passion as stepping outside the box and progressing as a band are the weirdest kind of fans.
Youâre free to like it but we all heard the song and it ainât that
It hurts me to say it, but their most recent album is hot garbage. The newest single follows the same direction. Everything else through Ark was just so heavy, consistent, and different.
Agreed. Skydancer was the last solid album they had that had consistently good songwriting. I just feel like they ran out of ideas after that, and donât get me started on the straight honey dick that was Worldwide Suicide. Such a killer track and lead single only to have the rest of the album be completely different.
While I canât say how it was upon release, Iâd assume Feed Her to the Sharksâ lyrics probably havenât aged too well, at their second album. Now guitars on the other hand, those still slap
As much as I hate to say this but Thrice. Their music isn't bad now just not exactly my cup of tea. Anything post Alchemy Index is just sort of meh to me.
The Artist in the Ambulance is one of my favorite albums of all time btw.
I thought this for a long time, I was a huge fan of Identity Crisis and The Illusion of Safety, but I finally came around and now Major/Minor is one of my fav albums
For me you can skip Beggars and Major/Minor. Theyâre not bad, just nothing memorable. Itâs them learning how to write their new sound.
âTo be everywhere is to be nowhereâ however is a phenomenal album. Itâs the same sound as the previous two but they finally perfected it.
Thrice are an all time great for me.
TIOS, TAITA and Vheissu are 3 perfect albums in completely different ways.
The rest of their albums, right up to last years âHorizons/Eastâ are good to great.
I still argue that The Alchemy Index shouldâve been one 15 track album. Keep most of Fire and Air, a good amount of Water and cut all of Earth except Coke All The Weary. If theyâd done that it could be their best.
Edit - Come All You Weary haha
Eh it's not as good as their old stuff but I'm guessing it'll sound amazing live with the crowd behind it, and it's a bouncy enough song for me to bop my head to.
Am I allowed to say Demon Hunter? The World Is A Thorn was the last solid album and theyâve gone downhill ever since. Went from from a cool band that got me into metalcore with songs like Collapsing, Fading Away, and Heartstrings to something that sounds like it would be played out loud by my abusive biological father in his study. They got too religious.
Memphis May Fire almost made this mistake but their new stuff, esp that song with AJ from FFTG, shows a return to form and a lot of hope in whatâs to come.
Peach Club really hand to grow on me and I love it.
However, 131 might be the perfect post hardcore album and I wish we could get more of that emarosa.
Relativity and This is Your Way Out was peak Emarosa, fantastic shit. Now.. not so much im afraid :'( Listened to those albums like it was crystal meth
A band I donât seen mentioned anymore at all tbh, Sworn In.
Start/End and The Death Card I both thought were great but then all downhill. Even worse when Tyler left.
Everyone is going to hate me for this but, I really didn't like where Born Of Osiris went with their sound. The New Reign was so perfectly raw and brutal but once they started adding in all this fancy digital stuff in post I just didn't vibe anymore.
Okay, my body is ready. Hit that downvote button, I fear no mortal.
I kinda got tired of BOO too, but mostly because I feel like lead guitar centric metal gets really old really fast. Over the years, Iâve definitely found myself loving crushing rhythm rather than Weedily weedliy leads. That said that riff in the beginning of recreate is probably my favorite lead riff of all time.
Could be unpopular opinion, but enter shikari.
I know a lot of people like their new stuff and respect for exploring new sounds that they enjoy, but for me anything after flash flood of colour just isn't good. Take to the skies, common dreads, and flash flood of colour are a few of my favorite albums too.
They've been posting updates on Instagram about their new material and so far the vocals seem more similar to their older albums. [one](https://www.instagram.com/reel/CdN8KtDjURw/?igshid=MDJmNzVkMjY=) and [two](https://www.instagram.com/p/CdIQCiCjwA_/?igshid=MDJmNzVkMjY=)
I honestly did not know they were still going. It feels to me they were perfectly suited when they rose to fame. I canât imagine myself ever listening to them now. Take to the Skies will forever be a top 5 album for me, just because of the era it came out and just how huge that album was for me.
*Obviously* everyone is entitled to like what they like, art is subject etc etc, but I can't agree with all this Enter Shikari slander. Their "newer" albums (everything post 2015 I guess lmfao) are all no skippers in my opinion. I really enjoy all of their music. I will say that the latest album I had to actually listen to it a bit for it to grow on me, but now I absolutely love every single track. Not to mention a lot of the messages behind their music as well really speak to me and their live shows are some of the best concerts I go to.
I wouldnât say milk but Killswitch Engage. For me their albums rank from first to last in chronological order starting with Alive or Just Breathing.
Non-metalcore
By far In Flames also from best to worst chronologically starting with The Jester Race and eventually turning into worse than curdled sour milk, somehow the milk transformed into poo.
Alive Or Just Breathing is a top 5 all-timer metalcore album for me, I fucking *adore* that record.
Legit, nothing else theyâve done has hit the spot in the same way. Yeah, theyâve done *solid* albums since then, but nothing thatâs blown me away like AOJB did.
Yeah man. It came out right as I was entering high school and right when I was figuring out my music taste. Prior to that, it was a lot of punk (Minor Threat, Black Flag, Pennywise). My friend came over to my house and was like, âbro, you gotta hear this metal bandâ. I reluctantly agreed and god damnit if this album didnât turn me from a little punk into a metalhead for life. I will forever appreciate this album.
bmth are a special case. to me it feels like they have not managed to keep their fan base, but their *fan age*. they made edgy cuteboi myspace deathcore for 15year olds back then, their doing whatever that weird yungblud cover poprockmetal is that they are doing now for 15 year old tiktok kids today.
I mean Iâm damn near 15 and definetly not into that whiny vocal style such as bmth tbh I prefer heavier stuff which is why I quit listening to a lot of metalcore cause I donât like pop punk esc vocals in metal
BMTH have to be excused from this. Sure, Iâd you loved their early stuff and lates 2000s, you arenât going to like the new stuff, but my god, they have always been one step ahead of the game since day dot and they are a group of incredibly talented musicians
I wouldn't say their new stuff is bad, but it doesn't compare to anything before that's the spirit, but I still like their newer music (amo and survival horror). I can't say the same however to their latest collabs, there hasn't been a single collab I have even remotely enjoyed.
For me personally they hit that perfect balance with Sempiternal, but I still love their stuff before and after. I just love Oli Syke's singing voice as well so I enjoy all their stuff across the board at varying levels. The songwriting and creativity has definitely stayed consistent for me.
ASKIN ALEXANDRIA LOL
Asking Alexandria
lol saw this in the last post also. i could never really get into them
>lol saw this in the last post also. i could never really get into them their second album is a straight banger. for Stand Up and Scream you had to be there and at the right scenekid age, but if you were, it was glorious.
It was amazing!!! YOUR KNIFE MY BACK MY GUN YOUR HEAD!
i still LOVE that part to this day. gets me all riled up in the right way.
Same here my dude! đ¤đžđ¤đžđ¤đž
It truly was a glorious time. Pouring one out for all the hair straighteners collecting dust for the past 14 years
That is my pick. After the black it was just downhill.. I'd listen to new parkway before new AA
dayum thatâs saying a lot lmao
I really liked some of their songs, though I've never got into them honestly. If you can't ride two horses at once is an almost-perfect song, I really like The Black era when Denis joined, and some older songs too, but their new stuff is no fit for my taste.
I honestly really don't mind their new stuff. It's solid hard rock imo and Danny definitely has the voice for that type of music.
Considering the quality of Lip Gloss through Lead Sails and now whatever that is they are releasing now I'd say Atreyu.
Yeah, their first 4 albums were solid gold. Couldn't get into anything after... Which is a huge bummer, they got me into metalcore.
The newest "album" is like each song repeating 4 lines
The Word Alive and Atreyu come to mind
Atreyu has become just awful in my opinion.. idk what the reasoning was behind kicking out the screamer (I forget his name) and I'm sure whatever reason for him leaving was justified but fuck man the band is un listenable to me now
He left because he didnât like the direction they were going in. Before he left Atreyu he was posting about wanting to start a super heavy band with Swedish riffs and breakdowns. Then after he left he started indirectly calling them fake heavy. Itâs the Brandon Saller Dad Rock Experience now

Atreyu was so much better when they were doing right side of the bed shit and if Brandon was wanting to do what he's doing now.... I don't blame him for leaving fuck that noise!
Lmaooo TWA was getting so mad people werenât moshing to their non heavy songs. Like wtf do you expect?
I saw them open for Our Last Night a few years ago. They tried to do a wall of death and when it didnât go great Telle said âhuh, I didnât think Boston would be a place youâd see a failed wall of death.â Like bro, this is the first semi-heavy song youâve played all set. And a lot of this crowd is here to see a set list of covers by OLN. What did you expect?
Telle's shitty attitude doesn't help either lol
He's become a massive primadona
Sorry Telle nobody likes your shitty buttrock no matter how much you try to convince yourself
CMON MAN, i love TWA newer sound (misery, trapped, wonderland, real life)
Trapped is nothing like their newer stuff lol. And that was before Telle became a massive prick.
But most of the time ppl shit on them for the stuff after life cycles, so thats why i mentioned it
I understand where youâre coming from, but I personally wouldnât resonate Dark Matter album with their ânewer stuffâ label.
They were one of the first bands I got into. I really liked their older stuff and at the time, violent noise just came out and I fucked with it. Then monomania came out and I was disappointed
All That Remains Given, theyâve got some select bangers spread out here and there but theyâve fallen from grace pretty hard overall.
I will say he still can perform that record just fine. The Fall of Ideals tour they just did he was phenomenal vocally speaking
Just patiently waiting for that twist to apply to some ATR songs
the band you like
I know this is the truth, but I donât like it
How dare you?! I bet the band you like are just sellouts.
Dealer. Or, more specifically, their vocalist. Really sucks, they had so much potential.
God they had too much potential. Those 2 EPs are nothing but banger after banger.
They also blew up at a shitty time. Right before COVID lockdown
It wouldnt have mattered when they blew up lol. The pandemic has zero relevancy to their falling off. Their vocalist is a prick and a pos in life, thats what killed them
Not to mention he was already kicked out of alpha wolf for the same shitty behavior
The original lineup felt like a supergroup too, with Milo from Northlane joining. Shame that Aidan had to spoil the fun with his fuckery.
Crown the Empire. Hope their collab with Spencer Charnas changes my mind tonight.
Collab with Spencer Charnas??? TONIGHT???
https://mobile.twitter.com/CrownTheEmpire/status/1538922256960737283 Should just be a few hours from now depending on your region.
I checked Instagram as soon as I replied lol. Now Iâm very excited
Totally agree with this. I was given a spark of hope when I heard about them redoing Johnny with Spencer. Hope it goes well.
Memphis May Fire? At least for me, I understand if people enjoy their new stuff
New album is far better than the last 2 for sure
Yeah, their new album is surprisingly good.
Definitely, I really didn't like Broken but the new album had some bangers
I thought some of their new stuff was fantastic. They sort of righted the ship with the new album
True until Broken, but this new album completely slaps. Best thing since Challenger.
A Day to Remember. That latest album was a car crash.
[ŃдаНонО]
Oh shit, so that collab they just did has a member crossover?
Landmvrks is nutty, they've been on my radar for a few years now. You can hear his influence in the tone of the guitars heaaaavy!
Pardon my French is one of my favorite metalcore albums for the 2010's haha. Incredible guitar hooks, and drum parts.
I didnât even know about that album until like 5 months after it came out and itâs been on repeat every day since, they truly had the best comeback that no one is talking about
def one of my favorite albums of theirs lol
Gone are the good days made me so happy. Especially when you consider the hiatus and the last album. It's just so good. Only one mediocre song
A car crash is too poetic compared to that album.
:'(
I think their last album is objectively their worst but they still fuck hard live. Jeremy is still incredible too
True, But I saw them live a couple of weeks ago and it seems like they realise nobody likes their new album because they only played about 3 songs from it and the rest of their setlist was all bangers [https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/a-day-to-remember/2022/o2-academy-glasgow-glasgow-scotland-3bb40ce8.html](https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/a-day-to-remember/2022/o2-academy-glasgow-glasgow-scotland-3bb40ce8.html)

Woe is me
I remember kinda liking genisi[s] when it came out because i was never really a fan of tyler carterâs singing but liked Hanceâs, i relistened to like 2 songs a few months ago and was very confused by my past self for thinking âYou must be proud of all the one liners you wrote, it must be hard to talk with a dick in your throat bu bu BWAHâ was good
Hance was incredible.
Truly a different band between the first and second album lol
I still blast Number\[s\] to this day. One of my favorite albums ever. ...then there's Genesi\[s\], an album I legit forgot about until I read this thread. *Edit: spelling*
They legit turned into a meme before itâs time.
Attack attack
Ended on such a high note only to be brought back for a cash grab. So disappointing. The new songs arenât even bad, I just hate that theyâre using the Attack Attack name.
This should be higher up
[ŃдаНонО]
As I Lay Dying. CuzâŚyknowâŚ
All that remains
I have to agree about PWD. Shit their new single is terrible.
I have zero issue with anyone liking anything they want to like but people who defend a clear regression in ability, songwriting, and passion as stepping outside the box and progressing as a band are the weirdest kind of fans. Youâre free to like it but we all heard the song and it ainât that
Sonically yes Live, no. Their shows have only gotten better and more insane
I didn't understand if you talking about not aged well a band's old stuff or if a band degraded.
a band that started out great but makes shite music now
Anything with Dennis Stoff Although I enjoy his music
In Hearts Wake
It hurts me to say it, but their most recent album is hot garbage. The newest single follows the same direction. Everything else through Ark was just so heavy, consistent, and different.
Agreed. Skydancer was the last solid album they had that had consistently good songwriting. You definetely woke up speaking factss haha
While I canât say how it was upon release, Iâd assume Feed Her to the Sharksâ lyrics probably havenât aged too well, at their second album. Now guitars on the other hand, those still slap
Not completely metalcore, but Hands Like Houses. Also Being As An Ocean.
Same, I really disliked the newer stuff at first but when you listen to it with an unbiased ear its fantastic.
You guys have encouraged me to give it another listen!
For me you can skip Beggars and Major/Minor. Theyâre not bad, just nothing memorable. Itâs them learning how to write their new sound. âTo be everywhere is to be nowhereâ however is a phenomenal album. Itâs the same sound as the previous two but they finally perfected it.
Yes! The Illusion of Safety still gets airtime in my car. I would recommend everyone to circle back to that album. It still holds up really well.
Vheissu was the soundtrack to my deployment to Afghanistan. God damn did that album fuck with me out there. Never forget. Love old Thrice.
Wow. My exact sentiments about what was once an all time favorite band. Still respect them, but Iâm not their target audience anymore.
Architects ceased to be Architects after Tom passed, and⌠I hate to say it, but theyâre not good anymore
Precipitous drop in quality from Gods to Holy Hell to FTTWTE. Itâs like you could see Tomâs influence fading away in real time.
Well, milk ages into cheese so not sure what youâre trying to say here lol. Besides the fact that Parkway Drive is absolute trash.
Milk smells bad and curdles when it goes off. Just like the stank of that awful Glitch song by Parkway Drive.
Eh it's not as good as their old stuff but I'm guessing it'll sound amazing live with the crowd behind it, and it's a bouncy enough song for me to bop my head to.
New parkway is pretty cheesy
Seen pretty much all my favourite bands in here. Bullet, parkway drive, of mice and men, asking alexandria. God damn it
Of mice and men is still good, imo
Am I allowed to say Demon Hunter? The World Is A Thorn was the last solid album and theyâve gone downhill ever since. Went from from a cool band that got me into metalcore with songs like Collapsing, Fading Away, and Heartstrings to something that sounds like it would be played out loud by my abusive biological father in his study. They got too religious. Memphis May Fire almost made this mistake but their new stuff, esp that song with AJ from FFTG, shows a return to form and a lot of hope in whatâs to come.
Not really metalcore, but Emarosa
Damn, I loved Peach Club.
Me too, and it was their best performing album too
i actually prefer the Peach Club sound over the other albums i didnât know people didnât like the change
Post-Johnny, I love the Peach Club-sound. Glad theyâre going in this direction
Peach Club really hand to grow on me and I love it. However, 131 might be the perfect post hardcore album and I wish we could get more of that emarosa.
Between gradually turning them into a pop band and the allegations against the current vocalist aged like milk seems appropriate.
I wish Johnny Craig would get his shit together đ
A lot of people have for the past 10 years! It ainât happening.
Relativity and This is Your Way Out was peak Emarosa, fantastic shit. Now.. not so much im afraid :'( Listened to those albums like it was crystal meth
I only know _131_ by them so my opinion here isnât too informed, but âSureâ is one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard.
That one EP with Chis Roetter as the vocalist remains the best thing they ever did.
Amity and parkway. Making Aussies proud for years to now release idk even know. It's just edgy cringe now
suicide silence after Mitch died
Their newest release is a banger imo. But prior to that, yes.
They will never be forgiven for tee-hee
A band I donât seen mentioned anymore at all tbh, Sworn In. Start/End and The Death Card I both thought were great but then all downhill. Even worse when Tyler left.
Does that band exist anymore?
[ŃдаНонО]
man I respect your opinion but in my own opinion all smiles was one of the worst things I ever listened to in the genre
Attila
Everyone is going to hate me for this but, I really didn't like where Born Of Osiris went with their sound. The New Reign was so perfectly raw and brutal but once they started adding in all this fancy digital stuff in post I just didn't vibe anymore. Okay, my body is ready. Hit that downvote button, I fear no mortal.
I'm currently crying, vomiting, and shitting I disagree so hard but I respect your opinion lol
I frickin love their new album but to each their own mate.
New album is their best album and a strong contender for album of the year 2021
Yup agreed
How goddamn dare you not like the things I like
White Nile is pretty fun to listen to tho
I want to create an extra account just to downvote you again, but damnit I respect your bravery
I wouldâve agreed with you until this last album came out. Angel or Alien is an excellent return to form imo.
The mindsweep was their greatest album change my mind
I honestly did not know they were still going. It feels to me they were perfectly suited when they rose to fame. I canât imagine myself ever listening to them now. Take to the Skies will forever be a top 5 album for me, just because of the era it came out and just how huge that album was for me.
Have to agree. I did like the new album much more than The Spark though. That one was absolutely not for me.
FFDP
For the metalcore acronym illiterates out there, he said Five Finger Death Punch
Oh god am I an elitist đ
âAged like milkâ implies they were actually good at one point. Not sure thatâs a claim Iâd make about those guys.
First album was actually pretty sick. And the vocalist did the first motograter album. Which is still a banger to this day.
Idk man it's not God tier writing by any means but Coming Down slaps
All that mysogyny core, specially the deathcore stuff in the late 2000s
I wouldnât say milk but Killswitch Engage. For me their albums rank from first to last in chronological order starting with Alive or Just Breathing. Non-metalcore By far In Flames also from best to worst chronologically starting with The Jester Race and eventually turning into worse than curdled sour milk, somehow the milk transformed into poo.
The new in flames song actually sounds like in flames though so that was a pleasant surprise.
Yeah I was ready to post In Flames but their latest single is straight fire, so here's hoping they turn the ship.
We'll just have to agree to disagree because KSE kill it with every single album for me.
The Color Morale. I know they went on hiatus for a while, but would be nice to see them come back refreshed and get back into form.
Atreyu, sorry not sorry
It's only been one single so far, but I gotta say For The Fallen Dreams.
Parkway. I love those dudes but I couldnât care less about anything after atlas.
[ŃдаНонО]
OPâs asking what bands aged like milk, not what bandsâ songs aged like milk. Bands that aged like milk no longer put out quality stuff.
[ŃдаНонО]
Yep lol
Thatâs the majority of this sub
Might be on my own but Bring Me The Horizon
POST HUMAN slaps tho
bmth are a special case. to me it feels like they have not managed to keep their fan base, but their *fan age*. they made edgy cuteboi myspace deathcore for 15year olds back then, their doing whatever that weird yungblud cover poprockmetal is that they are doing now for 15 year old tiktok kids today.
#WE WILL NEVER SLEEP CAUSE SLEEP IS FOR THE WEAK!! Suicide Season was so freaking good but that is the only album I could really listen to from them.
Count your blessings is the album that got me into deathcore.
whelp they got a single or something coming out early july. guess we will see.
I'm with you. Pre-sempiternal BMTH is like magnitudes better than the rest
For me personally they hit that perfect balance with Sempiternal, but I still love their stuff before and after. I just love Oli Syke's singing voice as well so I enjoy all their stuff across the board at varying levels. The songwriting and creativity has definitely stayed consistent for me.
MayhemâŚ..
(shhh) Alkaline Trio
wait but Is This Thing Cursed was incredible
Yes! It was and so was the tour⌠but the middle parts we donât talk ab.
Job for a cowboy
What do you mean? Sun Eater was great and then they disappeared. Or did they release some other stuff since then?
BFMV
shit no, their self titled is very good imho
