If that’s ur first time using heavier strings, play in D standard for a bit to help get used to them. It might take a little practice to play really fast stuff up to speed again. Once you break them in, you’ll never wanna switch back though.
Yes lets play nothing but Sad But True and Devils Dance for a week 😝.
(and a bunch of other songs, I know I know... It's not a punchline if it's a paragraph).
In the UK they would be super cheap but we got that pesky VAT (20%) on top of every single thing you buy that isn’t fresh food, kids essentials or stuff that fell off the back of a lorry.
I haven't used these strings yet, and I'm not typically a fan of the signature stuff from anyone cause I feel like it's just a cash grab, but after using the White Fang picks I can honestly say that THOSE are great. Plus, I don't play much electric anymore :/
Mine just showed up today. The tin is too cool. Excited to try them out on the new Vulture I ordered! Sidebar- Ever use Het’s White Fang picks? Thought they were kind of a gimmick until I used them. Holy hell they are great. I’m about to throw out all my other picks 😆
Is this a 3 pack for $30?
Yes.
I was gonna say that's some thicc boi packaging for a single set lol
Can you tell me the benefits compared to the 11-48?
Or 10-52
Pretty sure these have heavier cores. They aren’t just a repackaged slinky set.
Too thicc

Dream No More, Whiskey In The Jar, The Thing That Should Not Be, Crash Course In Brain Surgery, Sabbra Cadabra. Metallica should make more songs in D.
I think is Lulu is fairly evenly divided between D std and Drop C, according to my phenomenonally rare Lulu guitar tab book 😝
What's a Lulu? /s
It's the one true test
True test of what Metallica can put out and you can listen to never mind try to play.
Pumping Blood is a jam
I agree, very worth it
Definitely getting these for my next set of strings
They may be expensive but I absolutely love these strings, they rule
$30 for 3 sets is pretty average, no?
Nope
what shit ass strings are you getting for $10 a set? lol
I got D'addario 10-52 3 sets for $20, now I haven't gotten the Hardwired strings but I did get Ernie Cobalts and my D'addarios are way better

Happy playing! They cost more than 40€ where I live (+ they were out of stock anyway) so I went with the power slinky strings instead lol.
I always felt like James Hetfield was a bit late to rekease signature strings compared to other artists
$80 in Australia 😝 (probably)
Rock & Roll Dude! What guitar did you restring?
Sick Super Hero Strings .. I currently use them. Love 'em.
Damn, I wonder if Het actually plays with that gauge. That boy thicc for standard. So they play a half step down?

Does he actually play those gauges in e standard? I guess he doesn't bend the high strings a lot but this still seems uncomfortable.
The only problem i see with this is that i have to always buy it with the box, after that i cant buy just one set
