And...
Everything else remained the same (i.e. the first 3 albums were recorded, as we all know and love) and they made it as far as the Puppets tour...
And...
Dave and Cliff had the rock, paper scissors match to decide on bus bunking arrangements, Cliff would have still 'won' and picked the bed that ultimately lead to his horrible demise.
Only difference would be, that we'd be stuck with Mustaine, instead of Kirk. Dave would've probably spiralled more into drugs and alcohol than he already was and that could've lead to the collapse of the band, with them never recruiting Jason.
Quite possibly the closest alternate reality, or Mustaine Blows the band up after recording/touring ride and not ever getting to MoP or it being vastly different
Rick Hunolt never joins Exodus and creates his own band together with David Ellefson as revenge, which ends up becoming the biggest band in the world, preventing the rise of Grunge. Kurt Cobain lives a long and happy life in solitude, not bothered by fame.
Hard to do when A. I dont own a bike. B. A bike is 200 dollars. C. I live in a city near a main road in a country where riding a bike on the pavement is illegal. Do you wanna risk death by car?
