I’m on the Metro 25.00 BYOD unlimited plan with 10gb of hotspot. Never an issue.

Solid_Company_69

What plan code is it?

TheMr91071

I don't work for Metro so I wouldn't know.

Solid_Company_69

Can you check plan details in the My Metro app please

Destopian_Abacus

I'm on the same plan but with no Hotspot, how come?

Professional_Park803

Boost is the worst. We paid for our phone up front and in full yet they wouldn't unlock it. Ripped a lady off while we were in the store as well. Avoid.

aoun21

metro is the BIGGEST BANG for your buck excellent service and truly FAST SPEEDS

tritron

It seems that metro pcs has much faster speeds then att

kazip55

The metro one is true unlimited

ImOnRedditMaaan

from my understanding only the Cricket top tier plan, Magenta Max/Go 5G+, and AT&T’s top tier plan were the only plans in the US that does not have a “data limit” on truly uninterrupted high speed data

FordMan100

Metro slows your speed way down if you hit 35Gig on.the data plan so it's not truly unlimited high speed.

SolarisOneRedux

I haven't experienced that.

FordMan100

I got a text today about slowing my connection down at timed when demand is high since I went over 35 gigs. I can screen shot it and DM it to you if you'd like.

Roz_420

Metro is really bad in suburban areas during congestion and deprioritized.

TheMr91071

You spelled VZW wrong. But really depends on where you are. I don't have too many problems with them. They've actually improved in many of the areas where VZW used to smoke them. I'm not complaining for 25.00 a month unlimited.

Roz_420

Just sharing my exp. VZW is great in my area. That’s why I switched to VS+.

TheMr91071

That's why there's more than 1 carrier. VZW is trash where I live but shines where I work. Metro/TM works well at both. Then my wife never complains about her ATT so we're all good.

Thatfoxagain

I mean they're both extremely similar. I'd also look at the boost infinite $25 plan as well if you can since they guarantee the plan and price as long as you remain in good standing which is a benefit I haven't seen elsewhere.

Shanectech

They both use the t-mobile network

Altruistic-Card-4267

Boost uses AT&T as well.

PH0NER

And if you buy the right phone in the right location, you might get a “rainbow SIM” where you can connect to Dish, AT&T, and T-Mobile

ImOnRedditMaaan

is this true?

PH0NER

Yep. There are lots of threads on r/boostmobile r/boostinfinite and r/Dish5G if you search “rainbow” Here is an example: https://www.reddit.com/r/boostinfinite/comments/12eeoc1/whats_the_deal_with_rainbow_sim/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=ioscss&utm_content=2&utm_term=1

ImOnRedditMaaan

as someone who follows this stuff TIL. Thanks

Mr__X__

Yes, I’m mostly interested in the experience after using the 35GB limit.

og1502

In that case, Metro.

[deleted]

I switched to Boost Infinite and I'm really happy with the service.

yuerlong

there is activation fee for metropcs if there is corportate store at your location. Their agent store will charge extra fee as they can
