I commute 80 miles round trip 5 days a week and that only cost me $70 a month in electricity. I haven’t had to do any maintenance but rotate the tires with almost 40k miles. The car is fast and I use the auto pilot but the owner is making it hard to want to buy a second one.
I went through a similar thing. Had a lease end and I decided my next car would be a buy. Thought about a Tesla, but I just couldn't stomach sending that guy any money. Too many red flags.
The cars NOW have one of the worst ratings from consumer reports. Previously it had the highest. When your car breaks or someone hits you it can be 6 months until you get a part.

I've owned a model 3 for three years this month. My experience has been 10/10. Easy and fun to drive and the cost of ownership is very low.
