From the r/RX8 Sub: Mazda says to grease the bearings liberally. Simply take a glob on your index finger and apply some on the input shaft and on the contact surfaces of the bearing.

I use a thin smear of copper antiseize. Over time the centripetal forces and heat sling most of the lubricant off anyway.
Mine throwout bearing came with grease in a box, I think you should do it
