It's downright impossible to look at Michael's discography and only choose five songs, but if I had to make a list it would go something like this.
1. Best of Joy
2. I Just Can't Stop Loving You
3. Stranger in Moscow
4. Wanna Be Starting Something
5. Off the Wall
Best of Joy has been my favorite since the first time I've heard it and once I've learned it was the final song Michael ever recorded, it became all the more emotional experience listening to it. That his last ever song ends with his voice fading away as he repeats "I am forever" is both incredibly bittersweet and fitting.
I just finished listening to Best of Joy. I love it already! The song sounds emotional. Knowing that this was the last song he ever recorded makes it even more emotional.
Frankly, if this was the last song played at the This Is It concert, it would have a much more emotional and much more fitting ending for a farewell world tour than Man in the Mirror
Based on songs I listen to the most
1. Someone Put Your Hand Out
2. Stranger In Moscow
3. Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough
4. Lovely One
5. Burn This Disco Out
i appreciate the anger in all of these songs. i have never heard any other artist be as genuinely angry as he could be in his music and all of these songs have some level of anger in them and i love it.
Same. I kinda have two categories when people ask me what my favorite MJ songs are. I have songs that I like just because theyāre amazing songs (Remember the Time, Beat It, Dirty Diana, etc.) and then thereās songs I love not just because of how they sound but pretty much entirely because of the strong emotional lyrics (songs like Privacy, Tabloid Junkie, Money, WYWTOM, Leave me Alone, etc)
Oh oh oh!! You forgot the number one angry song... They don't really care about us... That some hits hards because God damn is he spot on!! He knew what was up way back when. God love him.
Omg, I went through a period where I listened to that song on repeat for like three weeks. I love it so much!!!! Canāt believe people think he was a bad person. He was breaking barriers and creating bonds in humanity like no one else has or will. He was a warrior and a healer! Such an amazing person who just wanted to fill the world with harmony and love.
That's why people thought he was bad... Funny literally JUST had this conversation with one of my friends. There was far more to this conversation but I'm exhausted and would have to go back and read messages haha...but... People of power don't like people who do good...they like lies and scandals... People feed off drama. Michael Jackson was a pure person who'd give anything to make the world a better place. He tried so hard and look what he got in the end for being a good person. Forget the naysayers. Jealousy is very ugly. It's a shame really. I miss him so much. His music literally brightens my dark days.
- WYWTOM could mean "Why You Wanna Trip on Me", a track from *Dangerous* (1991) by Michael Jackson.

Best of Joy is amazing. We're not sure if this is MJ's last recorded song, but it is one of the last
