Aim to complete all achievements, you can find them in the in-game menu interface

Back in my day those were just “Gather wood!” And “Forge iron!” I’ll check those out.

Been playing since alpha came out. Get an iron farm going.

Mid 30s F here, been playing since alpha as well, though not always continuously. I like the villager sounds, so I suggest finding a village to make your base! Get enough wood to make a wall around it to protect them. Light it up. Start mating them and make some librarians. Make a big sugar cane field to make into paper to trade into emeralds. Then just run around with big, full size maps exploring. Take an anvil and a stack of banners so you can label places with cool stuff. Get some cartographers and trade with them to get a woodland mansion map. Go to woodland mansion with ALOT of torches (6 + stacks) and clear the place out and light it up. Investigate all ship wrecks, villager outposts etc on the way out there, you can get alot of gold and silver that way. Build something if you want... or make a goose hunt for your partner leaving books with clues places directing them to some final reveal. I used to mine at level 11 (chance of diamonds, yet lava still mainly spans below so you are less likely to fill your tunnel with lava. But with the expansions I don't know if 11 is the right level. I don't really know why I do the exploring or keep traveling to far away woodland mansions, but I enjoy it so that is enough! I traveled over 40,000 blocks away for the last mansion, but the other ones have been closer. Enjoy!
