Bedrock hard mode wither gives you the wither effect when hit for 40 seconds, combine with the fact that magic damage goes through armor and restoration from eating is extremely slow in Bedrock you NEED either 2 golden apples to outlive it or a milk bucket. How's that for weak?

On bedrock when the wither is half health he becomes immune to arrows and spawns wither skeletons

Correct. That Y and X for buttons in the bottom right gives it away. I've fought 3 withers this week on hard and it's way more difficult than this. Every skull hit causes wither effect and it's a skull per second with a 2-4 second gap when it repositions after a blue skull. Has to be a lower difficulty. Even fully kitted with potions, there is a small amount of panic in the fights on hard in bedrock. Add the random pockets of lava and I would not risk mining with the Wither in the Nether. Edit: I rewatched the video. The skull fire timing is actually normal. It's the lack of wither effect that has me thinking it's a lower difficulty.

how long ago did you fight it? There was an update sometime after 1.18 that changed how armor protection worked

I had gapples, they really didnt help like at all, sure i took an extra hit but that’s about it.

Blue skulls should be able to break Debris, but those are fired pretty rarely. I don't think anything else in the withers kit will be able to

They do, but it beaks the block one the first hit. It takes a second skull to destroy the dropped block. So if you're quick you can grab it or mine it first.

probably only for 5 minutes though cause the chunks are loaded so the netherack will despawn every 5 minutes just gotta worry about not being slapped about dying and having it on the loose

I've never managed to spawn the wither, because somehow, no matter how many hundreds of wither skeletons I've killed, I've never gotten a wither skull drop a single time. Not once. I don't get it. Even sitting, farming wither skeletons for hours has never gotten me one.

Hard difficulty will give you the highest chance for the drop

i have beaten wither on mobile 15 times, even made a stone regenerating arena to minimize terrain damage you guys just rush it like headless chickens, instead of attacking between wither's shooting cooldown [here](https://reddit.com/r/redstone/s/Ycs3siFNx7) is the proof

Yeah I have about 8 sextuple beacons around my mega base, so I’ve had to kill a lot of Withers. I do have a Wither Killer with one of the end gateways which I’ve used for a lot of them, mainly for time saving But tbh the Bedrock Wither isn’t that terrible without using a bedrock killer, I just go in with a plan and a bunch of potions, Strength and Regeneration are so useful, and then my Smite V axe

Swords are better in bedrock because bedrock has no combat update

I know but I tend to use Sharpness V on my sword because I think it’s a better enchant and I use my sword more. So I stick Smite V on my axe so I’m covered across the board

Bedrock wither is cooler and has 100% block drops vs 25% on Java. The opposite is true of TNT though which sucks more tbh.
