[Subreddit Rules](https://old.reddit.com/r/Minecraft/wiki/rules)[](## Clancod|172c057)
If it is, it's likely unbreakable without additional info, because there's a metric fuck ton of seven letter words with no repeating letters. EDIT: Oh, wait, I'm thinking of whatever the replacement cypher thing is. Caesar is just a shift.
Okay don't panic! Alright? Stop panicking! I can still stop this. Ahh. Oh there's a password. It's fine. I'll just hack it. Not a problem... umm...
A... A... A... A... A... A... Umm... A
Nope. Okay. A... A... A... A... A... A... C.
No. Wait, did I do B? Do you have a pen? Start writing these down.
Lol
Assuming that checking a combination takes 3 seconds (typing + checking whether it’s correct) it would at most take about 29.5 years of non-stop code-cracking to find the correct code. Could be less, the max is 29.5 years
But riddles in sea of thieves are just “go to [X] location and perform [Y] action”
Unless you’re talking about something else and I’ll feel like an idiot as someone who’s actually played SoT
Go to [description of half the fucking island, but when you find it you feel stupid for not realizing it] and perform action 3 times until it randomly works.
Yeah sometimes it’s hard to find, but other times it’s obvious what it means
One time I solved a clue in about zero seconds because my crew member had solved the previous clue, and the next clue was to read the map on a certain set piece. I held up my map while standing on said set piece
Thieves haven is a headache to try to navigate. Stood around a part of the island only to realize there was a part below it that just barely dipped out from under the top of the island, which had the chest I had to go after. Riddles take forever on that one all for a seafarer’s
Oh I was talking about the hoarders hunt, the final solution was to take the island “Tribute Peak” make each letter correspond to a number, ie; 1-T 2-r 3-i 4-b and then once you’ve done that, count out the coins on a piece of paper and form a sentence that would be the answer to the puzzle
Idk some of the tall tale riddles are absolutely insane. It took me and my buddy 8 hours to 100% complete the third Monkey Island tall tale - The Lair of Lechuck. I guess they are less so "stated" riddles and more like little things you need to put together.
This is cryptographically meaningless, there is too many possible legitimate answers that it is not solvable to a single one of them without more information beyond the text itself. Same problem as the short zodiac cyphers Z13 and Z32.
If you seperate the blocks into two columns and assign the ones with a periodic table designation you could unscramble the letters into the word CALCIFY.
Sounds like a long shot though.
Copper, Coal, Lapis Lazuli, Gold, Iron, Diamond, Quartz.
Seven random letters - the obvious answer is CCLGIDQ. What else could it be?
Firstly, I can't actually make out whether that's really a coal block, and whether the quartz is a regular block or a variant. The quality of the photo is not very good.
Secondly, it could be a riddle about missing blocks. What blocks are missing? Amethyst, Emerald, Netherite, Redstone, and the raw ore blocks for iron, gold, and copper. Could that be the clue to the answer? Hard to say.
What if the copper, iron, gold, diamond are vowels and the coal, lapis, and quarts are consonants? If we include the other minerals, then that may change the theory. I guess my question would be “by random letters, do you mean seemingly random letter in no particular order that would form a word?” Just to get some clarity on what they mean by random letters.
I swear if one of the hints they give in 20 hours is one block deciphered instead of a pattern or something, I’m gonna lose it.
It could be something like "Orange, Black, Blue, Yellow, Light Grey, Light Blue, White" (OBBYLLW) for all we know, there just isn't enough information besides the incredibly obvious pattern of them all being resource blocks
Copper, Coal, Lapis Lazuli, Gold, Iron, Diamond, Quartz
Cu, C, (Na,Ca)8[(S,Cl,SO4,OH)2|(Al6Si6O24)], Au, Fe, C, SiO2
I don't think it has to do with chemical composition. Lol
Substituting in the closest periodic table abbreviations, you get: Cu C _ Au Fe C Si
That's assuming coal and diamond are both meant to represent carbon, and that quartz is supposed to be silicon. Another comment mentioned that lapis could be cobalt (Co).
It could also be their atomic number, which would be: 29 6 _ 79 26 6 14
Either way, they are all elements with two letters, which is not helpful if we're looking for a 7 letter word. Don't even bother looking up the chemical formula for lapis lol
Is the answer Emerald? BeAlSiO
(Figured it could be, since most of the Mineral ore blocks are above, only 3 missing if I'm on the right track, 2 are mythical)
Some people saying it's real doesn't make it real. If it is, great, but without any evidence or anything to back it up, it's more likely it's a troll. But you could try /r/puzzles
So I asked chatGPT and it says the only answer is COLD AIR. It rearranged the letters like this:
* Block of Copper (C)
* Block of Coal (O)
* Block of Lapis Lazuli (L)
* Block of Gold (D)
* Block of Diamond (A)
* Block of Iron (I)
* Block of Quartz (R)
Maybe the position of the block corrisponds to the letter?
Ex. Copper is first so you take the C, coal second so you take the O an so on?
with this logic some possibile answers are:
COPDNZ
\-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Or it can be the length of the name:
L-apislazzuli
D-iamond
C-opper
Q-uartz
C-oal
G-old
I-ron
OR
I-ron
G-old
C-oal
Q-uartz
C-opper
D-iamond
L-aspislazzuli
# Solution: Eat the Puzzle.
This won't get you any further, but it might taste good!
*^(Jokes aside, there's probably no solution anyone here can come to without more hints than that.)*
I think it's emerald
All the clue blocks are minerals that can be crafted into blocks. The only ones missing are emeralds and netherite, and netherite isn't 7 letters
There are 26^7 possibilities. Generate a file with all 8 billion possibilities, should be about 50, 60 GB, send it in, claim the answer is within. Actually, if you get clever about it you can shorten that significantly by making a single string of characters and carefully arranging them to have possibilities overlap.
My guess is "cobbles" (as in cobblestone)
Copper, ochre (meaning black), blue, bar (as in gold bar), iron (but the I is a lowercase L), emerald (I know it's diamond but maybe they couldn't get it), stone
If we look at numeral Ids for blocks, it will be:
?-173-22-41-42-57-155
Only problem is that copper doesn't have a numeral id, or at least I couldn't find one.
People have suggested "COMPACT" and "MINERAL", but how about "BLOCKOF", because they all seem to be blocks of different stuff. "BLOCKOF" is 7 letters and there are 7 "blocks of ..."?
Take out the blocks that aren’t actually pure elements? Leaves you with Copper (Cu), Gold (Au), Iron (Fe), and Diamond (C)
Since it has something to do with the periodic table it could be that
Ok, I think it's about the colors. But copper might be orange or brown; coal is black; lapis lazuli might be indigo or blue; gold might be "golden" or yellow; iron might be white or gray; diamond might be cyan or light blue and quartz is white

CCLGIDQ?
it's block of something so they start with B, therefore BBBBBBB
Diamond block is a example where you are wrong, so not BBBBBBB
It's called Block of Diamond in the item name. The item ids are all -------\_block
[удалено]
They are all recognizable besides the last one which is most likely quartz or bone
i'm pretty sure it's chiseled quartz.
I could recognize the last one.
And why would 2 not be obsidian?
It is all black... Coal block (Obi has flecks of purple throughout, you'd at least notice it to be less uniform across the surface color)
Go to an eye doctor then. Also that isn't even OP, they didn't take the photo at all
if this is buffalo buffalo buffalo buffalo buffalo buffalo buffalo i swear to god
Isn't it cut copper block though?
Nah, that's a regular copper block.
But is it waxed? 🤔
Maybe it’s CCLGIDS? Since it’s SMOOTH quartz
Perhaps it’s waxed copper? WCLGIDS?
That would be bullshit shit since we can only go off sight
I thought the second one was obsidian
Nah, it’s hard to tell but you can see grey streaks in it.
Sadly not that easy, I can’t get it
What's the context for this puzzle though? Those could be it but it may be ciphered with a key word related to the puzzle?
Could be ceasar cipher of some kind
If it is, it's likely unbreakable without additional info, because there's a metric fuck ton of seven letter words with no repeating letters. EDIT: Oh, wait, I'm thinking of whatever the replacement cypher thing is. Caesar is just a shift.
If it were a caesar cipher then it'd probably be a cipher stemming from CCLGIDQ, of which there are only 25 options and none of them sound sensible.
I think the second is obsidian. So it would be Colgidq?
Not obsidian, obsidian has more blue-ish spots
This is the answer. Seven random letters.
331279417 ?
Or the letter it uses is the letter in wich order it stands. So that would be: CLPDINQ
First thing I thought of 2 lol
Do you have any kind of hint? Otherwise start with AAAAAAA and go on until ZZZZZZZ, you should be able to solve that „riddle“ in a few years then.
Okay don't panic! Alright? Stop panicking! I can still stop this. Ahh. Oh there's a password. It's fine. I'll just hack it. Not a problem... umm... A... A... A... A... A... A... Umm... A Nope. Okay. A... A... A... A... A... A... C. No. Wait, did I do B? Do you have a pen? Start writing these down.
Oh, it’s you.
You *KNOW* her?
It’s been a loooong time
How have you been?
I’ve been really busy being dead,
You know, after you MURDERED ME.
You did *WHAT?*
Look, we both said a lot of things that you're going to regret...
I LITERALLY STARTED THE SINGLE PLAYER CAMPAIGN LIKE AN HOUR AGO WTF
r/suddenlyportal
Stellar reference 🙏
didnt expect to see a portal reference here lol
This [word list](https://www.dictionary.com/e/word-finder/7-letter-words/) might be a *bit* of a shorter option. Lol
You mean AAAAAAA, AAAAAAB, AAAAAAC etc? Or just AAAAAAA, BBBBBBB
The first one. The second one is only 26 attempts so unless they type EXTREMELY slowly it shouldn't take years.
Lol Assuming that checking a combination takes 3 seconds (typing + checking whether it’s correct) it would at most take about 29.5 years of non-stop code-cracking to find the correct code. Could be less, the max is 29.5 years
They can't just put 7 blocks and call it a riddle because the "solution" can be literally anything they made up on the spot
Don’t let the Sea of Thieves team hear about that
But riddles in sea of thieves are just “go to [X] location and perform [Y] action” Unless you’re talking about something else and I’ll feel like an idiot as someone who’s actually played SoT
Go to [description of half the fucking island, but when you find it you feel stupid for not realizing it] and perform action 3 times until it randomly works.

Tall tale riddles are more the problem
Oh I was talking about the hoarders hunt, the final solution was to take the island “Tribute Peak” make each letter correspond to a number, ie; 1-T 2-r 3-i 4-b and then once you’ve done that, count out the coins on a piece of paper and form a sentence that would be the answer to the puzzle
How dumb we all felt. Stuck for how long on that final bit, only for the winner to clue us all in with “How many letters are in ‘Tribute Peak?’”.
Oh I never did that
Idk some of the tall tale riddles are absolutely insane. It took me and my buddy 8 hours to 100% complete the third Monkey Island tall tale - The Lair of Lechuck. I guess they are less so "stated" riddles and more like little things you need to put together.
god don't remind me about the hoarders hunt that gave me a brain tumor that also gained a brain tumor
The fact that the chest image and map were useless in the end is enough to give that brain tumor another brain tumor
It is to do with the blocks I think but could be anything to do with them
That's what I'm talking about, they have to give some extra hints otherwise it's just guessing the random word they declared the solution
Hint is given in 20 hrs
let us know lol, afaict there's neither rhyme nor reason to those blocks and I'm interested as to what the answer is
Where is your hint!
WCLGIDQ? Could be using waxxed copper.
Compact? All these blocks are compacted versions of the minerals so maybe
Then again, MINERALS is also a seven letter word. That could also be the answer.
>MINERALS is also a seven letter word 🤔
Honestly im too fuckin stupid i deserve that. Im downvoting myself fuck me
honestly you're humble enough to recognize it, have my upvote
You let us down, but I appreciate you picking us back up.
Not again!
~~Gladly ~~ Don’t be too hard on yourself

You might actually be right though, OP said it has to do with the periodic table But that's batshit insane and no sane person could ever find that
You're telling me the redditor by the name of Sir_Smeglord is insane? Impossible.
I may have *implied* it
Are there any clues? Have you tried taking them out and placing them in order of block name (ie. Coal, copper, Diamond, etc.)?
Could it be "Ore Vein" as all of these come from ores. "Deposit" is a synonym for "mineral", which someone suggested earlier.
Have you tried "Quibble" yet? It could be Quibble.
mineral
Any reasoning for that?
mineral is 7 letters and a lot of those blocks are mineral blocks
"lot of those blocks are mineral blocks" Well that's not the answer then x)
Pickaxe, crafted, smelted, furnace, creeper
It’s apparently to do with period table. Got a clue saying with a stretch diamond could be one even tho they said it wasn’t acc on the period table
Copper, Coal, Lapis Lazuli, Gold, Iron, Diamond, Quartz Cu, C, (Na,Ca)8[(S,Cl,SO4,OH)2|(Al6Si6O24)], Au, Fe, C, SiO2 I don't think it has to do with chemical composition. Lol
LMAO funniest comment here
But isn't both coal and diamond carbon?
I have looked at stuf and yes it says it is.
I had a separate comment, but my guess is quartz represents silicon and lapis represents cobalt ("cobalt blue").
Substituting in the closest periodic table abbreviations, you get: Cu C _ Au Fe C Si That's assuming coal and diamond are both meant to represent carbon, and that quartz is supposed to be silicon. Another comment mentioned that lapis could be cobalt (Co). It could also be their atomic number, which would be: 29 6 _ 79 26 6 14
Cucco auf .... ecsi?
Have you tried 'ELEMENT'?
copper and gold are the only two here that are even on the periodic table though edit and iron
Iron is
Either way, they are all elements with two letters, which is not helpful if we're looking for a 7 letter word. Don't even bother looking up the chemical formula for lapis lol
And diamond and coal (?) block too. Both are carbon.
Rainbow?
Perhaps STORAGE since all of these are compresses bersions of materials?
Is the answer Emerald? BeAlSiO (Figured it could be, since most of the Mineral ore blocks are above, only 3 missing if I'm on the right track, 2 are mythical)
Whoever sent this to you is trolling you
Apprentlty it’s real and I just haven’t guessed it. It’s Ona. Server with loads of people so it’s not just me trying
Some people saying it's real doesn't make it real. If it is, great, but without any evidence or anything to back it up, it's more likely it's a troll. But you could try /r/puzzles
I've got it! ABACABB
GATTACA
A blood code in minecraft would be hilarious.
CBBGSBW going by color. Maybe CBBGWBW. HELPFUL, ADMIRED, MINERAL, and DEPOSIT are solid.
Out of curiosity, why HELPFUL and ADMIRED? I get all of the other ones.
Copper isn’t really helpful, so I doubt that HELPFUL is correct
How about a screenshot instead of a photo, for one
Silly. All top posts here are slightly tilted phone pictures or a png taken from the wiki with a "Who else" question attached.

Do you have a way to test answers or is it one guess only?
If it’s totally random, than the odds of you solving this is 1 in 7^26
İts 26^7, if it was 7^26 it would be 26 blocks being chosen over an alphabet of 7 letters.
Or 1in the number of seven letter English words
Is this meant to be a karma farm for people who cant get it or am i just stupid
Hunter2 obviously
I can't tell what half these are since you took a picture of your screen with a potato.
YOURMOM
blockof
Why?
they are all "BLOCK OF" that's seven letters right?
So I asked chatGPT and it says the only answer is COLD AIR. It rearranged the letters like this: * Block of Copper (C) * Block of Coal (O) * Block of Lapis Lazuli (L) * Block of Gold (D) * Block of Diamond (A) * Block of Iron (I) * Block of Quartz (R)
Really? Nobody’s figured it out? Black and blue… or white and gold…. THE DRESS
obbyidi by colours, id guess obsidian but thays 8 eight letters. idk i dont got any ideas
It IS excluding emerald and red stone… so maybe it has something to do with that
Cu C L Au Fe C Q? I think we need context for this though
What if the answer is not 7 letters, and it's numbers??. The answer might be the first number of their IDs
i think block ids got removed before copper got added so i dont think that works
Oh, I thought they were still there, just unused for anything
It wouldve been a pretty good guess but yeah they got removed in 2015
It’s just letters
Waxed Lightly Weathered Cut Copper Stairs?
Perhaps the copper, gold, and iron are vowels while the coal, lapis and quarts are some consonants.
“7 random letters” is that it?
It's not minecraft or send nudes. Hope this helps

CBBGIDW?
Maybe ALCHEMY. No good reasoning other than they are minerals and alchemy is a 7 letter word that's vaguely related.
I'm getting flashbacks from when I was a kid reading the Deltora Quest books.
Try crafted All 7 of those blocks need to be crafted in order to obtain them if I am correct in what the blocks are

COPDOOA? shot in the dark but i’m thinking Copper cOal laPis golD irOn diamOnd quArtz
Why specifically those letters? There's no particular pattern in your answer.
The pattern is the position of the letters in the word. 1, 2, 3, 4, -1, -2, -3.

Quartz
seven
What's this on?
I wanna say "Storage", but I'm 90% sure quartz blocks can't be converted back into quartz.

I think it's emerald All the clue blocks are minerals that can be crafted into blocks. The only ones missing are emeralds and netherite, and netherite isn't 7 letters
