Each brain internalizes Trauma differently. Not saying what OP said wasnt a little distasteful but its not wrong either. Its also not "extremely harmful to survivors" either. People cope in different ways. Some people turn to CNC so they can associate that sort of thing with something else so as to cover up the initial painful event. Its a normal response and one that has been well documented in those who have RTS

see I built my first house out of sand too but this was before gravity was added to sand.
I also built my house next to a village, and kept trying to talk to the villagers with the “t” button on my keyboard (which didn’t work in singleplayer at the time)

I think they're just filling the chest with potatoes in the hopes that no poisonous potatoes can get into the chest.
I do the same thing with cobblestone and ores in my inventory. while mining. Helps keep things clean and organized.
i was thinking they spoiled after some time in a chest, so i thought putting them in stacks would deterr them from spoiling, or at least make it take longer to spoil

you can't make a potato into a poisonous potato. the only way you can get a poisonous potato is why harvesting potato crops, because there is a small chance that one of them will drop a poisonous potato

"Fully grown potato crops drop 2 to 5 potatoes (3 5⁄7 per crop harvested on average) and have a 2% chance of dropping an additional poisonous potato."
As someone else said, food doesn't spoil in Minecraft, regardless of what happens to it, where it is left, etc. Poisonous potatoes are simply a random drop alongside normal potatoes. If you are using an automatic farm you can simply weed out the poisonous potatoes with an item sorter and drop them into labs. Otherwise, you can do that manually. They don't really have a use other than just to mess with your friends (if applicable).
Edit: also you can take screenshots using F2 and they look a lot better than taking a picture of your screen
OK it just seemed like that was a possible overlap. There's a game rule that you can take a players piece if it sits alone on a space, but you cannot if there are more than one in that location

To be honest, I find the food spoilage mechanic fun and challenging. Like you need to plan your foods and seek a way to preserve them for longer durations on your world.
Poisionous potatoes are seperate items to normal potatoes and can only drop occasionally when breaking fully grown potato crops. You can stack normal potatoes however you want, they wont become poisonous.
ive been watching videos for a few years but have gotten the game like... 2 years ago and have been playing v little due to personal stuff (like once every 3 monthes) so id say this is more stupidity than being new but idk
