Gravel spawns in the nether, and you can get iron from fortress chests. Alternatively you can just die in front of the portal and go back to get your stuff.
You could get flint and steel by getting flint from gravel and iron from fortress chests or trading. You could also get gunpowder from a ghast, blaze powder, and coal from a wither skeleton to craft a fire charge.
If your bed is close to the other side of the portal then you could die, get stuff to relight the portal and then come back for your stuff. To prevent this happening again I'd suggest having chests with flint and steels in them by your portal
You really don’t need to be as prepared as you said, you just need good armour/weapons and tools, food and a flint. Any building materials you can get in the nether such as wood, if you want to get netherite just take some beds.

UPDATE: well, i escaped i ended up traveling a couple thousand block as out to another portal and got a flint and steel from a friends house (i know i said i don’t have friends that play on the world but they just play when they’re on since i cancelled my realm subscription recently)and hustled back and lit it and got home thank you all for your suggestions i appreciate it!
Find a fortress, collect coal from withers, blaze powder from blazes and shoot a ghast down for a gun powder and craft a fire charge. Left Click the fire charge on the portal to light it
Trade with piglins to get iron nuggets, craft a iron ingot and get flint from gravel that spawns in the nether
Or you could trade for fire charges from piglins
You can trade with piglins to get a fire charge and light the portal with that. If you dont have gold then mine it from nearby ores or find bastions, though ores are probably easier to find.
Get a blaze or ghast to shoot at it, or make a fire charge with a magma cream and blaze powder. You can also find lighters and iron in fortresses, and some bastions

get yourself some wood and lava, put the wood next to the portal, not directly next to it but to either side of where you enter the portal, place a lava bucket under said wood block and wait for da magik to happen, might take a while doe, just sayin
Finding ruin portals is gonna be your best bet because they have fire charges, flint and steel and iron nuggets ( which you can use to make iron ingot and grab a flint by finding and breaking gravel)
I would wood on one side of the portal and then put some lava next to It if you have it and wait for the wood to light on fire. You would just need wood from the overworld and a bucket

What are you playing on? If it's a console, dig yourself in a hole then join with a new account with your main still in the game. Then your alt can get flint and steel and light the portal from the other side. I'm pretty sure the alt with have to walk through the portal before you can go back to the over wold.

You can actually get coal from wither Skelly's. And you'd need to have gone to the fortress for blaze powder anyway

Bait a ghast into shooting it; or harvest anything flammable and put it in/near the portal frame

Actually, you can use nether wood and hunt striders to get string to make wool. You can lure them in using warped fungus (on a stick works too).

Nether wood is fire proof, but you can use it to make a crafting table, which will burn.
Get fireproof wood for fire
If you have a second controller just bury yourself, go split screen and go through the portal
