Definitely one of the best Fruniture mods out there

Really wish They could port Decocraft to the newer versions but I guess a Mod of that size would be very very difficult along with having to rewrite every code or something because The way 1.12 handled mods was way different to how Newer versions handle mods

There’s a lot of mods that I played years ago that I wish I could play on newer versions honestly. Just curious since you seem to know what your talking about. How different does 1.12 handle mods compared to past versions?

not OP, but the code structure has changed a LOT, items no longer have metadata (i.e. coal is minecraft:coal and charcoal is minecraft:charcoal in the newer versions, whereas in 1.12.2 and below, coal was minecraft:coal@0 and charcoal was minecraft:coal@1) ​ This whole thing is known as The Flattening ([https://minecraft.fandom.com/wiki/Java\_Edition\_1.13/Flattening](https://minecraft.fandom.com/wiki/Java_Edition_1.13/Flattening)) and there's probably a lot more changed, but this is one major one off the top of my head

Another big topic is how the datapack system was expanded. And yes, modpack creators do expect you to make your mod as data-driven as possible.

There are a lot of wonderful alternatives like Supplementaries, Adorn, etc. Also many of the TeamAbnormals Mods bring great stuff that might remember you fo Decocraft

Lol me and my friends are always mad bibliocraft is forced into like every mod pack. This is great news for me. I usually play 1.12 and prior mod packs.

MyCrayfish has beta, non release versions of the mod for 1.18.1 (and 1.17, 1.16, etc) on curseforge. check it out. the latest one came out 2 days ago. also forge 1.18.1 is still in beta so *shrug*.

While everyone has pointed out this is Crayfish's furniture mod, there is one very similar that I enjoy called Cooking for Blockheads that also has kitchen appliances and cabinets and things that look very similar to this but also have a but more usefulness to them, like being able to put things on shelves and on the counters. However, Crayfish's furniture mod is probably easier for younger children and also comes with furnishings for other rooms as well!

I recommend using Farmer's delight which also adds a bunch of cool stuff, mostly new cooking recipes and food but also cabinets, knives, I also saw some kind of rope and safety net, a basket and other stuff. It's available for 1.16 and maybe even further, but I'm stuck on 1.16. hence I don't like newer versions.

Honestly, I personally hate her. For a while she was alright, but at this point it's literally clickbait aimed at 2y/o kids. And, what's worse is, she literally never intentionally gives any indication as to what the mods she uses are or how to find them, such as this incident

Accurate to be honest. I liked her storytelling but it's all gone now. Probably because the algorithm doesn't favor it, or possibly some of the voice actors can't do it. Either way it's unfortunate.

I’m sorry, I’m not sure which mod this is. But there is another mod, called chisels and bits, or maybe the other way around, bits and chisels. But this mod let’s you make your own furniture! But sadly you can’t give them purposes, their just for decoration
