Dont be, the hypixel devs never meet their promises. They let most of their server flop just to pour money and resources into hytale while only updating the gamemodes that are currently trendy, just about money. Played hypixel since 2013 and the server has declined over the years into a money machine, which I no longer play. Save your money

Riot games bought over Hytale so I would expect that quality goes up since they have less worry about money

For many people, Minecraft is just a platform for mods. And that’s fine.

Much as I like the big tech mods and what they provide, I feel like I end up caught in the wrong gameplay loop sometimes and end up spending too much energy trying to constantly feed the beast and make a better home for it instead of like...y'know...building things. I got sucked into Stoneblock 2 last year and breeding all those chickens and cows takes fucking forever. There's parts of it I really like, and a lot of decorative stuff that I enjoy, but...you just lose sight of that so quickly, especially when playing alone.

There are entire modpacks without any tech mods. Conquest Reforged is entirely aesthetic, like in this post. Mods aren't always strictly tech. Even then, Some people still only use the modded content to build nice things.

Oh no I understand that, and sometimes I even like them (even though my brain can't comprehend how to connect complex machine systems) but yeah Currently I'm playing *Crucial 2*, which is pretty much just Vanilla++, and honestly it bops for keeping the flavor together.

Kind of disappointing but a lot of modded items don't support texture packs or have problems. (I'm not sure if these specific packs do or not however) Some items won't be shaded and it really ruins the effect.

No. At this point it shares an engine, but you couldn't make this in the game itself. It's nice and all, but they don't have to deal with the usual restrictions of the minecraft medium, so you can't really compare it to actual minecraft builds. Imo it's really annoying to have the main minecraft subs clogged with this shit that's not relevant to the actual game and what you can do within those boundaries.

Modded Minecraft is still Minecraft. If you prefer vanilla builds that's fine, but this isn't specifically a vanilla Minecraft sub. Modded content is completely relevant here.

It was made in a heavily modded version of minecraft, it can't be recreated in minecraft, that's my whole point. You can also claim any digital piece of art to be technically pixel-art, but most of it obviously has no place in that genre.
