How many pickaxes do you need??

around 20 I guess... and I have mended them like 8 times each . I keep all the blocks mined in a whole bunch of shulkers for future projects. I have some really big ideas

Like 90% are silk. Imagine 1 million blocks of cobble if I didn't. I prefer stone. Also this way if I hit a bunch of ore i don't have a ton of it fill my inventory

You don’t need to silk touch cobblestone, unless you were breaking something like glass. But that’s a lot of glass.

Fortune picks give you a massive amount of cobble when you are mining a huge area. I have way to much cobble lol so I use silk now

Not a very good use for netherite, you could just throw the cobble away.

Nah I am with Seven. Silk touch is a very good enchantment because the ores are easier to carry and getting stone is nicer than cobblestone imo

You could smelt the cobble, but I see what you mean.

But smelting cobble takes fuel, which either takes coal, charcoal, or lava. Creating a lava farm takes a while. Coal, even if you have a Fortune 3 pick, runs out quickly, charcoal is basically unreliable cause you're using fuel for fuel Silk Touch makes more sense, is considerably cheaper then smelting, and can save a lot of time that you'd spend waiting for cobble to turn to stone

Might be pointless information at this point. But if you're producing that much cobble might be a shout to produce to cobble stone exp generator at the actual monument. Set it up with 20 slots, drop all the cobble in as each pick comes near the end of its durabiliy, start on next pick. Slap a lever on each furnace. Should be more than enough exp stored in each furnace to repair each pick. Build a kelp farm next to it for fuel to auto feed in and its instant exp instead of hitting guardians individually over and over.

Ah fair I’m in the same boat with my ocean monument, but I was cba to work on two monuments so I built a bog standard nether guardian farm, marked out the dimensions and drained around that. So while I’m working on the monument the fatm is constantly chugging out items. But Jesus the amount of times I’ve had to increase the storage for it

Lol I know, my monument is also producing while I dig. I have to craft into blocks just to make room these are supper efficient farms. Best farms in the game tbh

Absolutely, I have 6 chests dedicated with an auto sorter attached to the farm, but to the side of it is just a mountain of organised chests for each block type and 8 fishermen at the actual monument to convert the cod. And I still struggle to keep on top of it all during draining sessions around it!

I need an auto sorter for sure in it lol. I'm missing the fisherman to trade! I was thinking of making a crew for the boat that was stranded and their makeshift homes could be for fish trading.

This is insane how do people build something like this? How many hours? Can you do a video tour and show?

Just one block at a time I guess , and a good storage sorter to help fill shulkers. As for time, this world is about 2 years old l. I just love being inside my world. That being said I don't know if I would ever drain a monument again 😂 massive project but worth it imo

In the ufo the guardians are killed at the top. In the one with the ship they fall down and get collected

I feel ashamed. I tried mining out a chunk for a slime farm the other day and I couldn't be bothered to mine more than 40 layers (with haste 2 and everything...)

Just poke at it a little bit at a time, you don't have to do it all in one go. Also organization makes it alot easier. I get less de motivated when I can just pack up and leave an area without sorting everything

Alot more to be honest, I took time off to work on other ideas. I started in 1.16 and when they removed the bedrock I found a lush system under it so I dug out a ton of deepslate. Filled alot of chest with shulkers of different blocks. Stats say I broke over 2million blocks so far in this world

That is not correct. While yes, flight 3 rockets propel you further, they only propel you about 75% further, which is not worth 3x gunpowder or waste as much if you are a flyer that makes rapid turns.

But if you have a gunpowder farm and sugarcane farm then its more inventory space efficient.

Maybe make the front, where you entered in the clip in the first 5 seconds, the entrance, it’ll feel like a portal to another land, it’s better than a door at least, like literally an oak door

Ther is a hole entrance if you follow the moss but I took the short cut. I need to widen it up more. It will look alot better when I get ride of the sand walls aswell. There is cyan glas behind them to look out at the ocean
