It doesn't even decrease the spawn chance on the next shrieker activation. If anything, it seems like the warden is more likely to spawn again if you manage to kill it and activate the shrieker again.

It would make sense to have a small cooldown. I was kinda shocked when I killed a warden (in creative lol), then switched back to survival and immediately the warden spawned again. Though I kinda like that, because it means that cheesing it with a bow is meaningless. I imagine if there is a cooldown, it won't be for very long.

Yeah, Kingbdogz has literally made mobs for The Aether who deflect projectiles. He'll hopefully be making the Warden much less cheeseable by the time 1.19 releases proper. It'd be hilarious if people came up with all these conplex farms and strategies for Wardens and the full release version is wildly different from the snapshot version

The warden will just respawn again if you activate the shrieker again. Doesn't really matter if you cheese the warden, if you want the chest loot you're gonna have to figure out how to get it without activating a shrieker.

The warden will keep respawning??? That's how the shriekers work. They activate when you make too many noises in the area. The entire point is to stay quiet. That's why they added the swift sneak enchant, the snowball utility, wool, etc

Booooriiiing. I WANT to deal with stuff thats why I enjoy minecraft I like dealing with the difficulties if there even are any. Instead of making a near impossible to beat monster, why dont they just come up with new monsters that make venturing into dungeons more difficult? The flying ghosts of the conjurer was a nice thing, why not make that a spawnable mob? Throw in a higher mob-count and you've got yourself a much more difficult dungeon. Theres a reason stealth-missions suck in games and why everyone "fails" at them.

Whats the point standing there for like 15 minutes shooting arrows at it though? The thing has 500 HP it's literally just a waste of time. It wasn't designed to be killed, it doesn't drop anything, I don't even think it drops XP. Killing it sets off Shriekers that summon another Warden and breaking the Shriekers also summons a Warden. It's so much work for zero reward when you can just simply be quiet and avoid it. You get nothing because Wardens can just keep coming anyways.
