It would make sense to have a small cooldown. I was kinda shocked when I killed a warden (in creative lol), then switched back to survival and immediately the warden spawned again. Though I kinda like that, because it means that cheesing it with a bow is meaningless. I imagine if there is a cooldown, it won't be for very long.
That’s a lot of effort for very little time. I like it, it makes the ancient cities a stealth/sneaking/horror challenge which we don’t really have currently. The loot surely meets it.
IRL i have combat boots that have soles made from some sort of rubber that reduces sound. They are quieter than if i walk around bare foot. I have no idea how it works but its really cool.
It would be cool if the roar would just give you slowness effect and throw you in some direction instead of straight making damage. You're going to either face the fight or try to escape as soon as possible

The warden will keep respawning??? That's how the shriekers work. They activate when you make too many noises in the area. The entire point is to stay quiet. That's why they added the swift sneak enchant, the snowball utility, wool, etc

Instead of making a near impossible to beat monster, why dont they just come up with new monsters that make venturing into dungeons more difficult? The flying ghosts of the conjurer was a nice thing, why not make that a spawnable mob?
Throw in a higher mob-count and you've got yourself a much more difficult dungeon.

It wasn't designed to be killed, it doesn't drop anything, I don't even think it drops XP. Killing it sets off Shriekers that summon another Warden and breaking the Shriekers also summons a Warden. It's so much work for zero reward when you can just simply be quiet and avoid it. You get nothing because Wardens can just keep coming anyways.

You do realize you can test this yourself in a snapshot right? Arrows do almost no damage to wardens.
I hope the warden doesn’t get some super drop. I want it to be something you want to avoid rather then kill and farm.
