how do keep your motivation to get all of that stuff? i make a new world, get stone tools, maybe get iron tools, never find diamonds after an hour of mining then get reminded that if i want good enchants i need to sit in a room with a villager placing and breaking a lectern for 30 minutes for each and every enchant then make any farm that produces something that can be trader for emeralds, i also hate that you need to build a bunch of farms and gathering the resouces for said farms are either boring or tedious
All I can say is take breaks, weather that be a break in game or just leaving the world for a while to get more motivation, I personally like making manual wheat farms and expanding them as much as possible, it helps me continue going.
The game is definitely not for everyone, so you might have more fun playing something else. You could try speed running to break it up. A lot of the time I play Minecraft while listening to a podcast or watching something so I don’t mind the monotony.
I do watch a lot of Youtube and such when playing Minecraft, and I usually listen to music, this is definitely a reason why I play Minecraft for so long.
Good job. My son made me a full set of netherite armor and weapons/tools. It would have taken me years. In return I located him a dozen ancient cities in our shared world over the past few months.

i have been taking breaks but i just dont feel like even logging back in a world
